has one hundred poems.
Ten hundreds is one thousand!
- So many zeroes.
- Ten has one zero.
One hundred has two zeros.
But one thousand is a one
with THREE zeros.

- Well, there's something...
about how they sound.
But I can't explain it!
I've got a BIG PROBLEM!

Like slipping and tripping,

When you said "slipping yo,

It focuses on shapes
that lie flat,
like triangles and squares.
- Flat shapes are easy
to walk on!

up, like pyramids and cubes.

a different flat shape.
This one's all
about the rhombus.
- That lady's got a square face!
- Not a square, Cat. A rhombus.
It has one, two, three,
four sides the same length,
like a square. But the sides
don't all go straight across
and straight up and down.
- A rhombus is like a square...
that's tilted.
- Oh! Her face!
- Cute, right? If you're
into rhombus.

Gone! Disappeared!

- Someone should be
protecting these paintings!

are all just fine.

- The paintings are all fine
in the circle room.
And the oval room.
- You're sure every one
of these stretched round
shapes is in place?
- When you spend as much time
here as I do, you know the
paintings like family.
Well, gotta
keep sweepin'!

(whistling)
- We learned
something from that!
- Yeah. Mac is bonkers.
- We learned that the thief
doesn't steal round shapes.
He only wants shapes
with straight edges,
like rhombuses and triangles...
- And... these whacha-ma-
tangles!
- Rectangles! With two
straight sides going across,
and two going up and down.
Unlike with squares,
some sides of a rectangle
can be longer than others.
- I can't believe the thief
didn't take this adorable
blue rectangle!
- Where?
- Here, where there used to be
an adorable blue rectangle.
- He struck again!
- NO!
No! What?!

red rectangle! He took
that lady's cheek! ♪

taking it off the walls.

so I can be a great
square-painting artist.

if you will.
- But if you want to paint
squares, why'd you take
all those other shapes?
- Because... as I will
demonstrate with the shapes
I borrowed from the greats...
You can put triangles together
to make... a square!
You can put rectangles together
to make... a square!
- Amazing.
- Whoa.
- You can put triangles together
with a rhombus, to make...
- (Cat): No!
- Yes! A square!
- Cool.
- You can even put squares
together to make a really big...
- I won't believe it.

- Actually, I believe it.
- That one's fairly believable.
- Ugh! How'd this circle get

You can't use round shapes to
make a square, no way no how!
- So that's why you only took
shapes with straight sides.
