Look.

This...

The Dragon King has manifested!

The Dragon King has manifested!

The Dragon King has manifested!

The Dragon King has manifested!

The Dragon King has manifested!

Oh no.

Don't panic, Your Highness.

The Grand Heir Apparent is safe.

Grand Heir Apparent!

Your Highness.

-Your Highness.
-Your Highness.

Ye.

What's going on?

There's no blood.

Your Highness...

The Grand Heir Apparent...

He has been dead for a long time.

Speak!

Who sent you?

The Crown Prince is incompetent

and wants to succeed to the throne
through his son.

Now that the Grand Heir Apparent is dead,

the world of Great Shi

will ultimately belong
to His Highness Prince Ding.

Lies.

Speak.

What is your relationship with Liluo?

First Prince Zhou Miao

ordered assassins

to m*rder his royal nephew.

His wild ambitions

are glaringly obvious!

It is an unforgivable crime!

Huo Daozhang!

The Crown Prince ordered you
to escort the body here

for this exact moment.

You used Zhou Ye's corpse as bait

to lure the First Prince into a trap

before sending assassins here.

Once the crime is confirmed,

His Highness Prince Ding

will never have a chance to rise again.

Your Highness!

The great cause is accomplished.

I have done my duty

with no regrets.

To think the Crown Prince is so ruthless

to his own flesh and blood.

No.

When we welcomed
the Grand Heir Apparent that day,

he was perfectly fine.

You...

Lord Huo.

When you served
as the Vice Minister of Works,

Tang Yiming once personally taught you

the art of intricate mechanisms.

Using mechanical devices

to control a corpse

shouldn't be difficult for you, right?

Huo Daozhang.

How will you explain such dirty deeds

to His Majesty in the future?

Prince Ping,

you are too naive.

If the Grand Heir Apparent's corpse
is destroyed,

there will be no evidence.

Why would we need to explain?

Master Yun Hai!

Come out.

Master, your martial arts skills
are exceptional.

Help me destroy
the Grand Heir Apparent's corpse,

and the Crown Prince

can rest easy with no worries.

All the evil karma created in the past

stems from beginningless greed,
anger, and ignorance.

Lord Huo.

When did I ever promise

to help you?

Master,

what do you mean?

When you pledged allegiance
to the Crown Prince,

you clearly promised

to do your utmost

to help him succeed to the throne!

Now,

are you going back on your word?

The one who promised you back then

was Yun Hai,

not me.

You...

You are not Yun Hai?

Of course he's not Yun Hai.

He's the shadow puppeteer
who fell off a cliff 6 years ago

and became a vengeful spirit,

seeking revenge for his wife and child,

Yin Jie.

Flat hands, flat feet,
a body flat as can be.

Yet it claims to be human, not a shadow.

Is it a puppet performing shadow play,

or a shadow puppet wearing human skin?

Stop playing tricks here.

Turning into a vengeful spirit
for revenge,

cutting out hearts and livers,

and confusing people's minds...

It was you who gave Liluo's Dark Night

the idea, right?

On the night of the lunar eclipse,

the ones who caused chaos
with shadow puppets,

set up an illusion formation,

and put on a show of false strength

were also you

and Liluo's Dark Night.

He's Yin Jie?

If Yin Jie were still alive,

he wouldn't be an old man.

It's because of the Frost Moth.

If the Frost Moth is in a dead body,

it can preserve it.

But if it's in a living body,

it will suck their essence and blood,

causing them to age rapidly.

For so many years,

the Frost Moth must have been

kept in his body.

Yun Hai was in seclusion
for over 20 years.

Even if he took his place,

no one would suspect a thing.

Everyone loved my shadow plays,

but when my wife and child suffered,

no one helped!

I k*lled the murderers for revenge,

but they treated me as a sinner

and hunted me down!

But tell me!

What crime did I commit?

In this world,

right and wrong have long been confused,

and black and white reversed!

Then...

Let it all be destroyed...

The divine dragon treads the sea,

turning the earth into the sky!

Changlai Bun Shop.

I assume you have all been there.

Now do you know

why those people acted up?

It's the water vapor.

Here they are,

freshly steamed buns.

The steamers in the bun shop
produced the steam.

And the herb gatherer

was affected by the mist in the mountains.

It's all because of water vapor.

I also need a magical artifact
and incantation

to awaken the Chiying bugs.

Those people were just an experiment.

I added Chiying bugs into the Dragon Pond.

Once the mist covers the area.

anyone who has drunk the holy water

will act up and die.

By then,

the entire Gutan County

will become a living hell.

This

is the blessing that
His Highness the Grand Heir Apparent

has sought for our Great Shi Dynasty.

You were a citizen of Great Shi,

but you colluded with the enemies

to destroy the foundation of Great Shi.

I will fight you to the death!

I'm sorry, Crown Prince...

I'm sorry, Great Shi...

Yin Jie!

[Golden Dragon Hall]

Yan, be careful.

This person's martial arts
are very bizarre.

Why is Yin Jie's inner power

so similar to

Meng Rui's sword aura?

Yin Jie.

You only know how to hate people,

but you yourself

are also blinded by hatred.

You keep talking about karma,

but you must not know

that your son

is still alive in this world.

But he has likely

already drunk

the holy water you poisoned.

This is the Golden Dragon Pavilion
holy water

that Uncle Huang specially asked someone

to get for you.

Hong,

drink it all in one gulp.

It will keep you healthy

and help you grow up safely.

Thank you, Uncle Huang.

My son...

No.

Impossible!

My Hong is already dead!

You're lying to me!

My Hong...

And my Yu'er...

They

are all dead.

All dead.

You fool!

Your son was saved by Boss Huang

of the Xiangrui Shadow Puppet Shop.

But what did you do?

You did something so terrible to them!

[Golden Dragon Hall]

Hong.

My good Hong.

Come here.

Slow down.

Are you tired?

My good Hong...

Yu'er...

Hong, Hong.

My...

I'm coming to find you.

H-How...

How did that happen?

How did it...

[Golden Dragon Hall]

What's going on?

So the core of the mechanism is here.

Meng Rui, Yan,

try to

destroy the dragon head directly.

I'll find a way

to stop the mechanism.

Okay.

Be careful.

Zhu!

I have an idea.

Divine Constable Li.

Your Highness.

You must never again

disregard your own safety like this.

Thank you, Divine Constable Qingyang.

Your Highness.

My condolences.

I promised him before that I would return

to the palace this year

to stay up for the New Year together.

Ye.

I failed to protect you.

I'm sorry.

Your Highness.

This is not your fault.

It's all the Crown Prince's doing.

As the father of the Grand Heir Apparent,

not only did he fail to protect

his own son,

but he even used him.

He is completely unfit to be a father.

Ms. Bai,

have you found out

how exactly Ye died?

Your Highness,

just now,

I found multiple traces of poisoning

on the Grand Heir Apparent's body.

But whether he was actually poisoned

and, if so, by what,

requires

further examination.

Poisoning?

Eldest Brother, Second Brother.

If even one's own flesh and blood

can be disregarded,

what is the point

of sitting on that dragon throne?

General,

the casualties in Gutan County

have been tallied.

from the Chiying bugs.

Right now, this number

is still increasing.

The Liluo bandits

treat the people
of our Great Shi like dirt

and slaughter the innocent.

Their crimes are heinous.

I, Zhou Zhu,

will not rest in this life

until these bandits are eradicated!

Come with me quickly to save the people!

Yes!

Slow down.

Take this away.

Thank you, General.

The water distributed to the people

[Fuguang Studio]

This is Abbot Yun Hai's

meditation room for his seclusion.

Please go ahead, My Lord.

Thank you, Master.

I'm afraid

this is the real Yun Hai.

Ode to Canglang?

[Ode to Canglang]

Inner power is like a giant wave.

The sea of qi is like an empty valley.

Resists all external attacks

and expels all internal things

to neutralize all poisons in the world.

I see.

It seems

the martial arts Yin Jie practiced

was exactly this Ode to Canglang.

When this mental method is mastered,

the Kui Wood Wolf constellation

will surge forth from
the practitioner's back.

Since Dao Yin taught me
the Severe-Cold Sword,

I've had this.

Whenever I use my power,

it appears.

Could it be that
the inner power mental method

Dao Yin taught Meng Rui back then

was also Ode to Canglang?

Anyway, until the end,

he wouldn't let me call him Master.

He said what he taught me

wasn't any martial arts,

but the way of k*lling.

If that's true,

then the bug venom in me must be...

Chiying Bug Venom
is insidious and overbearing.

There is no cure for the poisoned.

But if one who practices Ode to Canglang

exhausts all their lifelong power,

they can help eliminate the toxins.

Exhaust all their lifelong power.

Exhaust all their lifelong power...

Meng Rui.

I can't ruin your life

for my own selfish desires.

Let this Ode to Canglang

become a secret forever.

[God of Calamity, Qiuyu]

[God of Death, Hanluo]

There is one god standing.

How will the fate
of our Great Shi turn out?

[Liluo's Scheme Exposed]
[The final battle]

[Clear as a Mirror]

Yun Hai spoke with absolute conviction.

Coupled with deliberate
rumor-mongering and speculation,

the rumors have spread far and wide.

The act of dropping Chiying bug eggs

to harm the people

was all blamed on Prince Ding.

They're saying that

Prince Ding and Liluo had an agreement.

If the attempt failed,

they'd use bug eggs
to k*ll the Grand Heir Apparent

and ensure the plan's success.

[Clear as a Mirror]

Yin Jie hated Great Shi to the bone.

He was

using Liluo to take personal revenge

and trigger internal strife.

Shaking the Great Shi Empire's court

was Liluo's overt plot all along.

[Investigation Record of the Bureau]
