And it's farm animal day
at The Melon Patch. [chuckles]

A farm is a place where animals

like cows, sheep, pigs, ducks,

even horses live in a special house called

a barn. [chuckles]

Would you like to practice
some of the names

of farm animals and the sounds they make?

-[chimes]
-Great. [chuckles]

Now, which one should we sta--

-[mooing]
-Oh.

Did you hear that?

That sounded like a moo moo…

[gasps] …here.

Oh.

[mooing]

[gasps] And a moo moo

there.

-Everywhere. Ah! [chuckling]

We found the moo moos. [chuckles]

It was these cows.

-And they really are everywhere. Oh.

All that moo mooing reminds me of the song

I'm gonna pretend to be a farm animal.

And you can guess which animal I am.

Ready?

Can you guess what animal I am
if I pull out my wings?

And go, "Cluck, cluck, cluck."

[chuckling]

-Yeah! I am a chicken.
-[clucks]

[imitates clucking]

Can you guess what I am if I waddle
like this and say…

"Quack, quack!" [chuckling]

-I was pretending to be a duck!
-[quacks]

Quack! [chuckles]

Can you guess what animal I am

If I pretend to chew grass?

[chewing]

And make a sound like this…

Moo! Moo!

-Yeah! A cow!
-[mooing]

We did it.

We figured out all the farm animals.

This stuffed cow is so silly.

The horse is hungry. [chuckles]

It's eating its lunch: hay.

Oh, and those two horses are playing.

Look at them run.

Aw, look.

-Baby cow.
-[mooing]

It's with its mommy.

Did you know that a baby cow
is called a calf?

Hi, little calf.

-Those chickens are running really fast.
-[clucks]

They must be hungry for lunch.

-Aw. Do you see the baby horses?
-[whinnies]

So sweet.

-A baby horse is called a foal.
-[whinnies]

-And so many baby chickens. [chuckles]
-[squawks]

Hello, little chicks.

-[♪ gentle music playing]
-[shushes]

The baby chicks fell asleep.

Maybe it's their nap time.

Sleep tight, little baby chickens.

And baby bunnies. [chuckles]

that's where we'll start.

Because anything can make great art.

Pipe cleaners.

These are pipe cleaners

and they are…

So many different colors. Wow, oh!

-And they kind of look like fireworks…

They're so long.

Oh. Let's collect that.

[exhales] And so soft

and fuzzy. [chuckles]

-It's a little wiggly worm. [chuckles]

Oh, now what else can we make with you?

Mmm.

Oh! A mustache.

-[chimes]
-Oh, let's see.

-Hello! I'm Mr. Mustache Man.

-We can also make fun shapes like-like…

-it curly like a spring. Boing! Boing!

Ziggity zow! I see it now.

This pipe cleaner looks like a tail.

But not just any tail.

Oh, let's see.

Pink. [chuckles]

Let's add a body,

a head,

oh, and two ears.

-One, two.
-[chimes]

Oh, and its legs.

One, two, three, and four.

Oh, and its nose of course. [chuckles]

Oh, and two eyes.

Let's see. [sighs]

There. Do you see it now?

Yeah, our pipe cleaner made
a magnificent pig's tail.

I wonder if it can make the whole pig.

We're gonna need more pipe cleaners.

-Oh, yes.

-Isn't that neat?
-[snorts]

Yeah, pipe cleaners can be anything,
a pig's tail

or a whole pig.

Or a colorful barn. [chuckles]

Well, what will you make
with pipe cleaners?

-Toodle-oo, doodlebugs.
-[chimes]

[pig snorts]

That means there's something

Let's make animal sounds to see
if the animals wanna come outside.

Do you wanna play?

[gasps] Great. [chuckles]

Let's call the cow.

What sound does a cow make?

Moo. Yes.

Let's moo really loud. Ready?

-[imitates mooing]
-[cow mooing]

[chuckling] Nice mooing.

-Oh.
-[mooing]

Here's the cow. [chuckles]

-[imitates mooing, gasps]
-[mooing]

The cow says, "Hi." [chuckles]

Let's call the pig.

-What sound does the pig make?
-[chimes]

-Oink, yes! [chuckling]
-[snorts]

Oink is a funny sound,
isn't it? [chuckling]

Are you ready to oink with me?

Ready? Oink, oink, oink.

-Oh!
-[snorts]

The pig.

So cute. [chuckling]

The pig is happy to see you. [chuckles]

Let's call one more animal.

The sheep.

What sound does the sheep make?

-[bleats]

[gasps] Hello, little sheep. [chuckling]

We were so good
at making animal sounds. [chuckling]

look at all the farm animals
playing together.

Are you ready to explore along
with me today.

And the grass is green
and the sky is blue.

It's time for exploring with me and you.

Do you guys wanna meet our new friend?

[chimes]

-Say hi to the duckling.
-[peeping]

Hi, little duckling.
Or should we say, "Quack, quack."

We need to be really gentle with animals.

Especially little baby ones.

Look at her fluff.

One day, when she's an adult duck,
all of her fluff will turn into feathers.

Kinda like this one.

Feathers and fluff help birds stay
warm and cozy.

And it even helps birds fly.

Like the ducks. But this duckling,
she doesn't fly. She waddles.

Oh. She's pretty fast too.

Should we have a waddle race?

Yeah.

Hey, little duckling? Do you want to race?

[peeps]

You think you can beat me?

I'm so fast.
And my new friends are gonna help me.

Can you help us start the race
by counting to three?

One, two, three.

Waddle.

Whoa. [pants]

She really is fast.

Well, I guess they have been waddling
their whole lives. [chuckles]

all about farm animals with you today.

We learned about cows, pigs, sheep,

and the barn where they live. [chuckles]

We used pipe cleaners to make pigs
with curly tails with Mr. Doodad,

explored duck feathers with Mr. Acorn,

and moved our bodies like farm animals
with Ms. Twist.

But now, it's time to say goodbye.
