[Peppa]: Movie Night!

[narrator]: Peppa has come to Penny Polar Bear's House for a movie night!

- Hello, Peppa. - Penny!

- See you later! [laughter]

- We're gonna watch the new Super Potato movie!

- Whee!

Super Potato !

[all]: Hooray! [laughter]

- Mummy Polar Bear, what are you doing?

- I am taking pictures off the wall, Peppa.

- So we can turn the sitting room into...

...a cinema!

[kids]: Ooh!

- The movie is going to go on the wall.

Look! It's a bird. [laughter]

- I can do a spider!

[laughter] [narrator]: It is fun to make shadow shapes.

- Everybody, sit down. - The movie is about to begin!

[laughter]

[click!] [epic music]

[movie narrator]: Super Potato , Return of the Potato.

- Gerald, I can't see!

- Sorry. I need to sit at the back. [laughter]

- Ah, that's better.

- Or is it?

- What's that?

- Oh, my ears!

I'll swap places with Suzy. [laughter]

- Now we're ready.

- Wait! Wait! We need the snacks!

- Oh, of course!

- I like popcorn.

- So do we, Danny.

- I like sweet popcorn.

- I like salty popcorn.

- I like sweet and salty popcorn.

Yummy!

- Now, what would you like?

- Sweet, please.

- Salty, please.

- Are we ready to watch the movie now? [kids]: Yes!

[epic music] [kids cheering]

- Oh, I have seen this before. In the end, Super Potato--

[all shushing] - Don't tell us what happens, Pedro.

- That would spoil it. - Oh, okay.

[movie narrator]: Far away, in the land of fruit and vegetables,

something happened.

- My hat! I lost my hat!

- I lost a hat once. - Oh, no!

[all shushing] - Shush!

[movie stops] - Don't talk, or we can't hear the movie.

[snorting] [both]: Okay.

- Help, Super Potato!

[all]: Super Potato!

Super Potato! - Potato!

- Did someone say my name?

- Ooh, Dr. Polar Bear,

I need to go to the toilet.

[movie stops] - Okay, does anyone else need to go to the toilet?

- I do! - I do! - And me!

[narrator]: It is best to go to the toilet before you watch a movie.

- I love this movie!

- I like Mrs. Carrot.

[narrator]: Rebecca Rabbit likes carrots.

- Would you like to eat a carrot?

- Yes, please! - Here you are. - Thank you.

- Where did you get that carrot?

- Penny's mummy gave it to me. - Could I have a carrot, please?

[all]: And me! - And one for me! - Of course.

[kids]: Thank you.

- Everyone comfortable? Got your snacks?

Been to the toilet? Ready to watch the movie?

[all]: Yes!

[epic music]

- By the power of vegetables...

I am here!

- Hooray! - And here...

is your hat.

[all]: Hooray!

- Thank you, Super Potato!

- Hoo-hah! - Now I can have my lunch.

Oh.

My lunchbox is stuck!

[all]: Super Potato!

Super Potato!

- What's that?

I am here! Again.

- Hooray! [triumphant music]

Thank you, Super Potato.

You're my hero.

[all]: Hooray!!!

[narrator]: The movie has finished and it is home time.

- We watched a movie! - And Mrs. Carrot lost her hat!

- And the lunchbox was stuck.

- Sounds like you had a nice time. - Yes!

- And what do you say?

[kids]: Thank you for having us! - You are most welcome.

[narrator]: Peppa loves movie night.

Everybody loves movie night! [laughter]

[Peppa]: Art House Day!

[narrator]: Today, Peppa is at Granny and Grandpa Pig's house.

- What are you doing, Granny?

- I want to buy a new picture to hang on the wall. [snorting]

So I'm measuring the space. [doorbell ringing]

[narrator]: Here are Suzy Sheep and Granny Sheep.

- Hello, Granny Sheep! Hello, Suzy! [both]: Hello, Peppa.

[laughter] [snorting]

- Are you ready for Art House Day? - Uh, what's that?

- We go to people's houses and look at art.

- I'm hoping to find a picture to go on my wall.

- Art House Day is a celebration of making that comes with a map!

[kids]: Ooh!

[Suzy]: Those are places we visit,

and the dots show us the way to go.

- Let's follow the dots!

[narrator]: Here are Pedro Pony and Mr. Pony.

- Hello, Pedro! - Hello!

- Are you doing Art House Day today? - Yes!

- Do you want to follow the dots with us?

- Okay. [laughter] [bleating]

[narrator]: The dots lead all the way to old Mrs. Donkey's house.

[laughter] - Hello, everyone.

Have you come to look at my art?

- Yes! There's lots of pictures of owls.

- Why are they all the same?

- Because they are screen prints.

You place your paper under the screen,

then push some ink through the screen with this squeegee,

and it makes a print.

[kids]: Wow! - Would you like one?

[kids]: Yes, please!

- Thank you very much!

- I love the smoothness of screen prints.

- Would you like one, Granny Pig?

- They are lovely, but I don't think the colour is right for my living room.

- Never mind. Have a nibble instead.

- Oh. [snorting] Thank you.

- Mm! I like Art House Day.

[narrator]: There are lots of things to enjoy on Art House Day.

[laughter]

- We're going this way now. Bye-bye.

[Peppa and Suzy]: Bye-bye, Pedro!

- I wonder where these dots will take us next.

[narrator]: The dots lead all the way to Gerald Giraffe's house!

- Hello, Peppa and Suzy! Come and see my daddy's art!

- Oh, where is the art?

- It's here. It's just very small.

Use this magnifying glass.

[Peppa]: Wow! A butterfly!

[Suzy]: A flower! [Gerald]: And me! [laughing]

- I use a big magnifying glass to make tiny pictures.

[kids]: Ooh!

- He's making a tiny picture of me!

- What a wonderful way to express yourself through art!

- I like them because they can fit in your pocket.

- Very nice. [snorting]

But a bit too small to go on my wall.

- Please help yourselves to a cheese-ball nibble.

[all]: Thank you. Mm!

- Cheese ba*ls.

Now, there's a work of art. Délicieux!

[thunder] - Oh, it's started to rain.

- Raindrops can be beautiful, too, Granny Pig. Look!

[kids]: Ooh!

[Granny Sheep]: It's nature making art!

- The rain is pretty, but it is a bit wet, as well.

- Lucky for us, this is the last art house to visit.

- Oh! This is my house.

[indistinct chatter]

- So many spots!

This must've taken ages to paint.

- It took me minutes...

and a lifetime.

- I like this big one! But what is it?

- It is the balance between the rational world and the subconscious.

- That's how my granny talks. [giggling]

- Girls, what do you like?

- I like this green one.

It makes me think of grass.

- I like this one.

It makes me think of cheese ba*ls!

- Oh, yes! [snorting]

And it's just the right size and colour to go on my wall!

May I buy it?

- Darling, you can have it.

I'm just so happy to have shared this Art House Day with you all.

- And I'm happy we shared all the nibbles. [snorting]

[laughter]

[narrator]: Peppa loves Art House Day.

Everyone loves Art House Day! [laughter]

[Peppa]: Wildflower Wood!

[narrator]: Peppa and friends are at playgroup today.

- Today, children, we are going to visit the Wildflower Wood.

[kids]: Ooh! - And...

you can all wear wildflower hats!

[laughter]

- I like this yellow hat! [snorting]

- Me, too. [bleating]

[narrator]: All the children are wearing wildflower hats.

- Everybody follow me. [laughter]

Good morning, Mr. Bull.

- Hello, Madame Gazelle.

I've come to cut the grass.

- Oh! Don't cut the grass, Mr. Bull!

Wildflowers are growing there!

- Oh, yeah. I do like flowers.

Best not cut the grass, then.

- Why don't you come to the Wildflower Wood with us?

- Oh, I would love to.

- Here. Have a flower hat.

- Thank you very much.

[narrator]: Peppa and her friends have arrived at the wildflower Wood.

- Here we are.

[kids]: Wow! - Look at all those flowers!

- They are very pretty.

- Very pretty, yes.

But do not touch them, please.

Some flowers will give you an itchy rash if you touch them.

- So why are we here?

- We are enjoying the wonder of nature, Danny.

- That flower looks just like your hat, Peppa.

[Suzy laughing] - It looks like your hat too, Suzy!

[laughter] - Ah, yellow primroses.

Whenever I see them, it brightens up my day.

- Madame Gazelle, why are flowers so colourful?

- To attract the bees and insects.

- But how does a flower know what colour to be?

- Oh. Um...

- Well, that will be the wonder of nature! - Yes!

- Edmond's flower looks like a cup.

- Flowers come in all shapes and sizes.

- Its Latin name is Caltha palustris.

[narrator]: Latin is a language from a long time ago.

- Caltha means cup, because it's shaped like a cup,

and palustris means marsh,

because it grows in wet ground. [trumpeting]

[sniffing] - This flower smells like my mummy's cooking!

- It's your flower, Danny.

[sniffing] - Mm! Nice.

- That is wild garlic.

Some people cook with it. I don't like it much myself.

- Uh, Madame Gazelle, do you know which flowers make a tasty drink?

- As it happens, I have some right here.

[laughter]

This juice is made from elderflowers I picked in my garden last summer.

[slurping] [kids]: Mm!

- Tasty. - Yummy!

- Now, who hasn't found their flower yet? - Me!

- And me! - You are bluebells.

In springtime, we find bluebells all over the wildflower Wood!

Follow me. [soft music]

[kids]: Wow!

- There you are, Gerald. And there's me.

- There are bluebells everywhere! [laughter]

- Has anyone seen my flower?

- Maybe not, Mr. Bull.

Your flower hat is a bee orchid and very rare.

- Oh. - Never mind, eh?

Back to playgroup, children.

[laughter]

- Thank you for teaching us all about wildflowers, Madame Gazelle.

- They are very pretty.

- And you can do things with them, like medicine and cooking and stuff.

- But you mustn't touch them...

- Or they might make you itchy, poorly.

- Look! The wildflowers in the grass have blossomed!

[Peppa gasping] - The busy bees are here!

- Hmm. That bee is not very busy. [Madame Gazelle]: Oh!

Because that is not a bee.

It is a flower that just looks like a bee.

[kids]: wow!

- It's my bee-orchid flower! How very special!

[all]: Hooray! [laughter]

[narrator]: Mr. Bull loves wildflowers.

[laughter] Everybody loves wildflowers!

[Peppa]: Sunny day games! [laughter]

[narrator]: It is hot and sunny at Granny and Grandpa Pig's house today.

Peppa and George are playing in the garden.

- Whew! I'm a bit hot. [snorting]

- Come drink some water and have a rest in the shade.

- But, Granny, we like running about.

It's fun!

- It would be more fun if we could all keep cool.

[gasping] - We can play in the paddling pool!

[snorting] [narrator]: Peppa and George love the paddling pool!

- Granny and I do not have a paddling pool, Peppa.

- Oh. - But...

I know a sunny-day game that will keep you cool.

Come with me. [kids giggling]

These will do.

[narrator]: Granny Pig has found two squeezy bottles in the recycling bin.

- We just rinse them out and fill them with water.

There. Now you need to put on your swimming costumes.

[giggling] Just a moment.

You need your sun cream.

- Ugh! [giggling]

- Yuck. - What do we do with these bottles, Granny?

- Why don't you give them a little squeeze?

- Oops! [laughing] Squeeze the bottle, George!

[narrator]: The water from the squeezy bottle is lovely and cool.

[giggling] - How does it do that?

Oh. Sorry, George.

[laughter]

Ah! It's the squirty monster!

- Here, Peppa. [snorting] Hide behind me.

[laughter] - You can't get me!

[exclaiming] Ah! You squirted Grandpa!

- Lovely! [snorting] Do it again.

[kids giggling]

[exclaiming]

Oh-oh, that's wonderful!

[squeaking] - Oh. The bottles are empty.

- You can fill your bottles from this bucket of water.

Now you're good to go.

- Come on, George, let's go and spray Grandpa again!

[laughter]

- Papa Ig? - Where has he gone?

[narrator]: Grandpa Pig is in his shed.

- I've had another idea for a cool sunny-day game.

- Is it a paddling pool?

- It's better than a paddling pool. Ta-dah!

[narrator]: Grandpa Pig has covered the hill with a plastic sheet.

- Ooh!

- Now all we need is a sprinkle of water.

Et voilà!

[snorting] A water slide.

[laughter] - You can't get me, George!

Whee!!!

[giggling] - Whee!!!

[laughter]

- Clever Grandpa Pig! Whee!

[narrator]: Peppa and George love Grandpa Pig's water slide.

- That looks fun! May I have a go, Grandpa Pig?

- Of course, Granny Pig.

- Ah!!! [laughing]

[laughter] Whee...!

[snorting] [laughing]

You can't get me now, Grandpa Pig.

- Oh, yes, I can.

[narrator]: Grandpa Pig is making the water go a long way!

- Oh! [laughter]

- You can't get me!

- I can spray almost anything from here.

[screaming and laughter] I can even make it rain.

[narrator]: Grandpa Pig has made a rainbow with the hose!

[Peppa]: A rainbow!

♪ The rainbow's here to play ♪♪

- How wonderful.

- But now it's time to turn the water off.

[kids]: Aw. - We can't have the hose on all day, Peppa.

That would waste water.

- And we don't want to waste the water on the ground, do we?

[snorting] - Muddy puddles! [laughter]

[narrator]: The water has made muddy puddles in the garden.

Peppa and George love jumping up and down in muddy puddles!

[laughter] Everyone loves jumping up and down in muddy puddles!

[Peppa]: Magic trick!

[narrator]: Peppa and George are having their breakfast.

[phone ringing] - Hello?

- Hello. This is Mummy Elephant. - Oh, hello.

- Would Peppa like to come to Emily's birthday party?

- Oh! Yes, please! - That's great!

And, uh, can Daddy Pig come too?

- Daddy Pig? I don't know. Why don't you ask him?

- Daddy Pig, could you do magic at Emily's party?

- You mean as The Amazing Mysterio?

I would be delighted to!

- Fantastic! See you soon.

- Bye-bye! [chuckling] Whoop.

- Maybe you should practise your magic before the party. - Good idea.

- Can I watch you practise, Daddy?

- Of course, Peppa.

[narrator]: Daddy Pig is practising his magic.

- Prepare to be amazed by... the disappearing egg!

- Ooh! - First, I put the egg into the box.

Then I say the magic word:

Abracadabra!

The egg has gone! [fanfare]

- How did you do that?! - h*-h*-h*-h*.

A magician never tells his secrets.

- Oh, please, Daddy.

- Oh, okay.

Maybe a magician can tell his secrets if someone asks nicely.

First, I put the egg into the box,

but this time I leave the box open to show you.

- Ooh! - I say the magic word: Abracadabra!

Then, while no one is looking, I press the secret button,

and it looks like the egg is gone!

[giggling] - Is that real magic?

- No, it's a magic trick. - Oh.

[narrator]: Daddy Pig and Peppa have arrived at Emily's birthday party.

- Hello, everyone! [kids]: Hello, Peppa!

- Are you going to do the magic show now, Daddy Pig?

- I have to put on my magician's costume first.

[gasping] - Is that the magic stuff? - Yes.

- Can you do magic like your daddy, Peppa? - Okay.

Prepare to be amazed by... an egg!

[kids]: Ooh! - First, I put the egg into the box.

Then I say the magic word:

Iggity-aggati-oop! [laughter]

The egg has gone! [fanfare]

[kids]: Wow! - How do you do it?

- I can't tell you,

because magic people don't tell their secrets.

[kids]: Please? - Okay.

I can tell you because you asked nicely.

[kids]: Hooray!

- First, I put the egg into the box,

but this time, I'll leave the box to show you!

I say the magic word--

- Ooh! Oobity-abati-gloop! [laughter]

- Then, when you are not looking,

I press the secret button.

And it looks like the egg has gone!

- But that's not real magic. - No.

It is a magic trick!

- It's a very good magic trick, Peppa.

- Come on into the living room for the magic show.

[kids]: Hooray! [laughter]

- Ladies and gentlemen,

The Amazing Mysterio!

- Thank you, thank you.

Now, prepare to be amazed by the disappearing egg!

First, I--

- Put the egg in the box.

- That's right. Then--

- Close the box. - Y-yes.

- Then say the magic word! - Um...

Abracadabra?

- And press the secret button when no one is looking.

[laughter] - Right. [clicking]

- Then say: [kids]: The egg has gone! [applause]

- Oh. - Can we see it again?

- The egg trick? Again?

- Yes. We like that one.

- Oh! Okay.

Prepare to be amazed by...

the disappearing egg!

[kids]: Hooray! - First...

[kids]: You put the egg in the box! - Then?

[kids]: You say the magic word. - Iggity--

- Abracadabra! [laughter]
