- [growls] This happens every time.

- [laughs] Nice moves, man.

Are you all-star player turned billionaire,

owner slash coach, slash recording artist

Tim Dunkman?!

- Call me The Dunk.

I saw those sweet dance moves,

and I got a business proposition for you.

It's no secret that my team stinks.

They're losers. You know what?

I couldn't buy a sack of nickels with any of 'em.

- A sack of what?

- You know what? I like the pep of your pizza,

and the squeak of your sneaks.

How'd you like to be--

- Your new power forward who makes

the winning dunk in game seven?

No, of course not.

You're just a random guy with oddly green skin

playing in the park.

What I need is someone to get my crowd hype,

to get my team hype.

I need you to be the mascot for my New York Daves.

- Still great!

Wait, I thought you were called the Vipers.

- [huffs]

Congratulations!

you have won our contest to rename the team!

What's it gonna be? Dragons, Dunkers?

[upbeat music]

[crowd boos]

Mr. The Dunk, I'm so sorry. I'm doing my best out there.

- It's not your fault. It's these losers.

- Have you ever thought-- never mind.

- Don't hold out on The Dunk, kid.

What you got?

- Well, one time I was in a rut,

but I found a lucky rock.

Next thing you know, no more rut.

- So what's so special about that rock?

- It's not about the rock. It's about changing your mojo.

- So you're saying--

- You need to do whatever it takes to change your mojo.

- And you do that by-- - Whatever it takes.

[grunts] You guys are in luck.

I'm breaking out my new victory dance once we win tonight.

- Yeah, right.

- Trust me. I'm on the inside.

- As a mascot?

- More of a consultant who wears a costume

and fires a T-shirt cannon.

The Dunk listens to me.

- We haven't won a game all season,

but that all changes tonight,

because you've got something no one else has.

- Heart?

- No, me, an eccentric billionaire

willing to do whatever it takes to win,

including purchasing an ancient good luck arch

that will change our losing mojo to winning mojo.

My arch is gonna turn you wannabes into are-bes.

Andy, put that on my next album.

Now let's go win!

- Those guys are gonna whoop the Daves.

[buzzer rings] - Yeah, let's go!

Shmoo, shmoo! Come on, let me hear you!

- [chuckles]

- [laughs]

- Yay!

- I'm Dave! Get loud!

[fan snoring]

- And now, the starting lineup

for your New York Daves...

[dramatic music]

[all grumbling]

- Yeah, let's go! Come on!

Let me hear you.

- Play ball!

[suspenseful music]

- [laughs]

- [laughs]

- [growls]

both: Yeah!

- Let me hear you!

Let's go! Come on.

[both laughing] - There it is.

[upbeat music]

[dramatic tone]

- [grunts]

- [groans] [whistle blows]

- Leo, are you noticing anything weird

going on with the team?

- Yeah, they're awesome.

That arch must really be working.

My idea.

- Yeah, Dave, is it? That arch is severely mystic.

- That would explain why they're so creepy

and not human.

- Boys, looks like this trip

just went from personal to business.

- Hey! You're all just jealous that once I joined the Daves

they went from losers to Leos,

which means winners.

[screams]

- [blows whistle]

[gasps] [yells]

- That's not good.

- That is so good!

- [grunts] [whistle blows]

- Yes! [laughs]

- Uh, sir Dunk,

I think we may have accidentally bought

an evil arch that may or may not

have possessed your players.

- Who cares? They're winning!

[players grunt] Look, I can't thank you enough.

Winning tastes so good.

- Ooh.

So about that arch thingy...

- Ya think?

- That is why I've called an expert on all things mystic.

- Ugh, point me at the idiot. Do you know what you've done?

- What? Uh--

- That is the arch of Aquinnah.

Whoever walks under it is turned into,

oh, I don't know, a demonic warrior.

- Oh, yeah, that makes sense.

Without admitting any fault, there may have been some signs.

[speed metal music]

- Power to all who cross under me!

- [chuckles]

- The only way to reverse the power of the arch

is to defeat its demons in battle.

- Ah, yes, so in this case, a game of baské ball.

- Donnie, I know you know how to say it.

We're all onto you. Okay, here's the plan.

- Let me in. You need a full team.

- Look, Leo, we need to work as a team.

Take your win-at-all-costs attitude back to your boy Dunk.

- Hey![grunts]

You're right. all: Huh?

- I'm sorry.

That eccentric billionaire,

who was kind of a surrogate father figure to me,

has shown me a version of myself I don't like.

I've been a ball hog, a bad teammate,

and worst of all, I've been a...

[retches]

I'm gonna say it.

I've been a bad-- [gibbers]

[angelic tone]

all: Aww!

- Let's be ballers.

[upbeat music]

Yeah!

- Time to put your evil spirit back in the arch.

[laughs]

- [growls]

- A bounce pass.

- [growls]

- [grunts] Boomshakalaka!

[buzzer chimes]

- [laughs] [grunts]

- [grunts] From downtown.

[buzzer chimes]

- Boom! Was your momma a house?

Because you're putting up bricks!

[yelling]

Yeah!

[upbeat music]

[whistle blows] - Timeout!

You know what? I gotta do everything myself.

[all gasp]

[dramatic music]

[snarls]

[growls]

The power.

It's on, former employee

I looked at like a surrogate son.

Game on!

- Let's go.

[players grunting]

[buzzer chiming]

[tense music]

- [growls]

Buckets!

[buzzer chimes]

- Timeout. [whistle blows]

- Ah, they're too good.

Maybe we just need to accept we're under arch rule now.

- We can do this. I've got an idea.

Donnie, you ready to win this thing?

- You're just gonna bounce-throw it

off my head again, aren't you?

- No, they're expecting me to take the last shot.

That's why you're gonna do it.

- Me? - [gasps]

Rain dance!

And boom goes the Donnie-mite!

Game, blouses.

[kids babbling]

- Are we sure about this?

- What, what?

- Yes. - Mm?

- I believe in you. You've got this.

- Your confidence is giving me confidence.

- Team on three. One, two, three...

all: Team!

[buzzer chimes]

[beasts growling]

[whistle blows] - Hm.

- Ah, run!

- [groans] - [laughs]

- A bounce pass.

- [growls] - Out of the way.

A drip-drop.

[beasts growling]

[dramatic music]

- I'm Dave!

- Yeah!

No! - Oh my gosh!

- Hot soup!

[laughs]

[buzzer chimes]

- No!

- [groans]

- Did you know he would miss?

- Just because I became a team player

doesn't mean Donnie is magically good at basketball.

♪ Lucky rock, lucky rock ♪

[vocalizing] ♪ Lucky rock ♪

- [munching loudly]

These pizza puffs are amazing!

Can I double my order?

- Certainly, Chef Flambé. Just give us a moment.

I'm adding a special ingredient just for your clientele.

Your restaurant is going to be the talk of the town.

- Sounds great, if I don't eat them all myself.

[munches loudly] - Well, here they are, matey.

Guaranteed to slay with flavor.

- Not so fast, Sweats.

Your mystic poison puffs are off this menu.

[grunts]

- [grunts]

- Poison? But it's so delicious--

- Hey! Didn't you hear me? They're dangerous!

[grunts] - [groans]

- This isn't a restaurant supplier.

It's your old rival, Rupert Swaggart,

or should I say Meat Sweats?

First he lures you with delicious puffs,

then sells you poison ones to ruin your business.

He was gonna do it to all his old rival chefs.

Dude! They're poison!

Huh?

- Yes, and I'd have gotten away with it,

if not for you, you pesky turtle.

- The Red Angel of Preventing Harm saves the day.

No thanks to my lame bros who again flaked on the mission.

- [chuckles] - Seriously?

Hello?

Anyone gonna thank Raph for saving New York?

By himself? Again?

While everyone else was asleep and not helping?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

[sighs] Guess I'll have Donnie

analyze these in case there's any more out there.

If he ever bothers to wake up.

[yawns]

[serene music]

What?

- Mm, delicious.

- As you know, I don't normally express emotion, but...

[shouts] That's good!

- It's like a thousand angels blessed each of my taste buds.

- Guys! What are you doing?

Those things have mystic poison.

I clearly wrote, "Danger. Do not eat."

- [laughs]

We didn't fall for that old chestnut.

- Selfish Raph trying to keep us from eating his pizza puffs.

- What? Raph doesn't lie.

- Oh, really? How about when you tell us

training starts an hour earlier

because you know we're always late, hmm?

- Or when you told Mikey that if he doesn't

take out the trash, a trash monster

will eat him in his sleep?

- I only do that because you guys are irresponsible.

I can't trust you to do simple stuff

like show up for a mission, and not eat poison!

- What poison? I don't feel anything.

- Meat Sweats put a mystic toxin in...

Are you sweating?

- Yeah, a little, but only because my hand is on fire.

See? Right as rain.

- Typical overprotective Raph. Worried about nothing.

- [yelling]

See? It got you, too.

- What? Just a little case of jelly bones?

I'll be fine.

- You know, come to think of it,

I do have a bit of an upset stomach.

Maybe I didn't get enough to eat.

- Don't eat that.

- Oh, yeah, gross. It's been on the floor.

- And it's poison!

- Uh-huh. Assuming we believe you,

color me skeptical, my goggles will spot any--

whoa! That is a lot of mystic.

Okay, I better analyze this puff

and see if I can whip up an antidote.

- Now you're talking sense.

- Or we take one last ride on the flavor train!

Chugga, chugga, choo, choo!

- No! That was our last chance to find a cure.

You're gonna have jelly bones forever.

- Relax. Raph'll fix it.

- I'm Raph! See, this is the problem.

You guys expect me to solve everything,

but we'll never be a strong team

unless you learn to solve things yourselves,

and that starts today.

Now, who's got an idea on how we can track down

Meat Sweats and find an antidote?

- Oh, you mean us? - Yes!

- Okay, fine. You know what?

My super tongue already found a clue.

In that puff, I tasted a special flour

only available at one Swedish bakery.

[taunts] - Great, Raph, check it out.

And hurry up, 'cause I think my stomach's getting worse.

- [growls]

- Weren't you listening?

I'm trying to teach you to solve things yourselves.

All right, I'll drive.

- You sure you want me to do this?

I don't feel so hot.

Oh, there we go.

- We need to know where Meat Sweats is,

and you're the team's face man.

Get in there and do what you do best, face.

- [groans]

Hey, buddy, I'm from the...

Oh, I don't know, Swedish Chef Awards,

and I'm here to give some kind of...

golden rolling pin. Nice.

But I just need you to fill out a simple questionnaire.

And anyway, hey, what's-- where's Rupert Swaggart?

- Ah, the coveted golden rolling pin!

Sir Rupert's address is written on a note

under that stack of plates.

And if you'd just move them to the sink,

I will retrieve it.

- The stack on the right or the left?

Never mind. I'll get both.

[groans]

- What the...

- [screams] - So about that address?

- You can take the sweaty apron

that Rupert Swaggart left behind.

[groans] [door slams]

- What are we gonna do now?

All Leo got out of that chef was this sweaty apron.

- [growls]

- Calm down, Tummytello. Calm down.

- Don't worry.

Raph's gonna bail us out like he always does.

- I'm Raph! And I'm not bailing you out.

These guys are lost without me. Maybe I should help them.

Make them do it themselves.

It's the only way they'll learn.

But they're just kids.

And you can make them men!

- Hey, bud, did you eat one of these puffs?

- Tummytello hungry!

- What? You have more of those?

- No, that was the last one.

Okay, that was the last one.

- [groans]

Come on, guys, you can do this.

Is the apron a clue?

Maybe Donnie could run some kind of spectroscopic analysis.

- Why would I waste my time with fake science

when I could just use the Smell-U-Lator?

[sniffs]

Meat Sweats is definitely to the east.

- [groans]

- Ah, how fascinating and varied

are the robust scents of New York City.

Oh, oh, no, not the garbage strike!

- [groans]

- These smells are upsetting Tummytello.

Turn.

No, no, no! Cheese aging district.

Ugh, sumo wrestling gym. Diaper cleaners.

- [retches] - Leo!

- [yells]

There. To the marina.

[sniffs]

Meat Sweat's stank seems to be coming from--

- Over there.

- Okay, Raph, time to smash your way aboard

and make Meat Sweats give you the antidote.

- Ugh, Mikey, I'm in the tank.

What part about solving this yourselves

don't you understand?

- Well, boys, it's on us.

But first, how about some pizza puffs?

- Stop eating the poison!

- Okay, Meaty Sweetie, hand over the antidote.

- Preferably inside some of those exquisite pizza puffs.

- You look a right mess!

Serves you right for monkeying with me plan

to ruin me rivals' restaurants.

What say we even the score?

- [grunts] Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

[groans]

- Gastroenteritis!

[grunting] - [growls]

- Why did it have to be scrod?

Ow!

- [grunts] - [groaning]

[laughs]

[screams]

- I gotta get in there.

No. They'll never learn if you always help them, Raph.

But I can't just sit here.

- This is for their own good.

- [grunts]

- I'd have you for dinner,

but you look like three lumps of spoiled meat.

- I knew we'd never be able to do this without Raph.

- Believe in yourselves.

- Guys, Tummytello's right.

Leo, give me the rest of our pizza puffs.

- Well, I don't have any more.

Aww, man, those really are the last ones.

- Hot soup!

- [grunts]

[munches loudly]

Oh, my. Those are delicious.

Oh, no, what's happening to this little piggy?

[laughing and grunting]

- That must be the antidote.

Leo, save us with my jelly bones!

- And vial snag.

- [gulps loudly]

- It's been my honor serving with you, Tummytello.

- I'll always be with you.

- Wait, let's talk this over.

Just a little sip, hey, my chummy-wubbies?

- Ah, a moral quandary.

Do we give the antidote to the villain, or...

- Poison, antidote.

Everything he makes is delicious.

- [screams] [growling]

- Huh?

I knew you guys could do it.

No, you didn't. I did.

Oh, you want to go?

Bring it.

[grunting]

- Eh, Raph'll take care of it.

- [groans]

Oh, that's much better.

[eerie snarling]

[dramatic music]
