01x07 - Miss Jessop Tidies Up

hello things look very untidy this morning just look at those weeds there's hardly room for

parsley I wonder why perhaps bay leaf has been too busy doing other

things it's rather a lot for one person lady Rosemary does give him a hand sometimes cutting off the Dead

flowers but s Basil's usually out sh**ting and Sage is usually asleep in his nest I don't suppose it worries Dill

much either a weed is just something that grows as far as he's concerned no

different from a flower as for parsley what's this Miss Jessup she must have

come to stay with sir basil and Lady Rosemary now there'll be trouble I don't think you've met Miss Jessup she's very

nice really but she does like things to be neat and tidy not just ordinary tidy

but clean tidy she won't like the herb garden if it looks untidy like this one we'd better go in and see what's

happening happening I'll say the magic word

flowers I'm a very neat herb and my name is Miss Jessup I like everything tidy

and all just in place but all of the other herbs make such a mess up the

state of the god a dreadful disgrace dear oh dear oh dear I'm sure these flowers haven't been dusted for days and

parsley I'm a very friendly lion called parsley with a tale for doing jobs of

every kind but I mustn't treat it roughly or too harshly for it's such a useful thing to

have

though my tail I'd love to get I have never caught it yet and as for you Dill you're almost as

bad as parsley just look at your pores you've been digging up the garden I expect looking for bones well if I catch

you doing it again there'll be trouble go away at once and wash those

onion Mr onion I have a complaint to make I'm Sorry Miss Jessup all complaints must be made at : in the

morning after breakfast and before school starts I'm afraid this really cannot wait until tomorrow Mr Anan you

see I cannot have all your children tramping about the countryside like this they're making a terrible dust and I've only just this minute finished doing the

flowers making a dust my child's making a dust splutter I'm sorry ma'am that's

it sounds as if all the noise has woken Sage as well a rather fat feathery I'll call

Sage I'm not at all happy in fact in a rage Miss Jessup wants everything tidy and clean but the noise is upsetting my

sleeping

routine that's parsley Dill Mr onion and all the chives and now Sage that Miss Jessup has

upset there can't be many left now I'm bilea I'm the gardener I work

from early Dawn you'll find me sweeping up the leaves and tidy in the lawn ah ah

there's altogether too much singing going on in the Garden today too much s in while people stand around singing

they're not working this Garden's getting much too untidy my garden untiy well I've been working my fingers

this now she's upset Bailey it's a bity really because she means well I'm a very

clean but all of the other herbs make such a mess up that sometimes the

gardens not fit to be seen ah here she be gone I really don't know what we're

going to do Bessel we can't ask her to leave she is our guest well if she don't

leave or else change our ways o be going instead I say steady on baa you can't

leave us who's going to carry me things when I'm out sh**ting oh you won't need that g*n sir Basel nor your fishing rod

she don't hold with them what's that won't need them hear that Rosemary of course what she needs his husband a

husband ah husband someone she can Grumble at all the time

she' be lonely that be her trouble what she needs is someone used to Gardens and keeping things

very happy yeah I ain't be going to marry her I ain't going to be the one or you want to be grumbled at for the rest
