There are certain locations
around the country

notorious for being haunted.

Like one georgia hotel
that prefers to remain nameless.

Bought in 1920 by three wealthy
sisters who never married

and ran the business
until the 1950s.

The classic building
has been visited

by the likes of andrew carnegie,
john d. Rockefeller...

And reported endless
string of spirits and ghosts

over the past 100 years,

and more recently, it's rumored
that an elderly man passed away

in one of the guest rooms...

And his ghost is still present.

It remains a popular destination
for amateur ghost hunters

hoping for an encounter
with the paranormal.

But as one man found out,
be careful what you wish for.

What the hell?

In August 2019,
ghost hunter clayton golda

checked into
a 102 year old hotel

in st. Marys, georgia,

which had a reputation
for being haunted.

His goal?

Spend the night alone
and find evidence

of the haunting.

So, I'm staying in this super
haunted room.

And I was even getting ready
to film or anything yet.

I was going to throw all my
stuff on my charger.

And I was going to go outside.

I was going to have a cigar for
the night and then come back in

and then try to set
some cameras and film.

Okay?

I've been in this room
for like 10 minutes.

My fan has shut off
and turned back on.

See that?

The bathroom door over there,
there's no windows open.

I got nothing going on
and that thing right there

just closed all by itself.

So I'm telling you what,
it's a little spooky.

I am thinking it's...

A am thinking it's kind of neat.

So I'm probably going to go have
my cigar, I'm gonna come back,

set some cameras up,
and do whatever I...

Battery's about to go low...
And then do whatever I can

to get it...

It's closing right now, guys.

Just moved a little bit.

Telling you, it just...

There's no one in here with me.

It just happened,
just like that.

Activity started happening.

It was...
It was really exciting.

I didn't have
much battery power.

But I wanted to get it because I
didn't know if

this is going to happen again.

I can't remember if it did it
once or twice while...

Before I turned it on, or what.

But it's been doing it a lot
and I don't get it,

because I tried doing it
by hand...

I got goose bumps.

Sure enough, it happened again,
right on camera.

Stuff just kept happening
after that.

the bathroom to see

if he can detect a presence.

There's no one here, guys.

And to conduct a test
on the door.

It doesn't close by itself.

Well, first of all, I know it is
an intelligent kind of spirit

because, you know, again,

you ask somebody
to do something and it does it.

You ask this ghost to shut the
door and it shuts the door.

So how great is that
for a ghost investigation?

To actually, you know,
talk to the spirit.

I'll leave this room
for a little while.

I won't come back if you close
that door one more time.

What the hell?!

It's not like an aggressive
spirit of any kind,

it doesn't seem
threatening at all.

So at least they seem to be
on some sort of terms.

I'm gonna probably get
ready for bed,

but I'm thinking
I'm gonna leave the camera on.

I hate sleeping
with the light on,

but maybe I'll leave light on

and we'll just leave
the camera rolling

while I sleep,

see how it goes,
see if anything happens.

If something does happen, great.

Clayton goes to bed
shortly after,

and actually manages to
fall asleep.

Most of the night
seems unremarkable,

but then around 3:30 a.M...

Keep your eyes on the lower
right side of your screen.

A chair is pushed or pulled
right up next to clayton's bed.

With enough force
to actually move the fan.

This unseen figure
actually draws a chair up

next to his bed,

and I have to assume has a seat
while he's sleeping.

You know, that's something
that was a little off-putting.

And takes some force
to push a rolling chair.

So that's definitely unusual
to see.

Just a few minutes later,

clayton is suddenly
startled awake.

Again, keep your eyes
on the right side of the screen.

Specifically, the lower
right corner of the bed.

Something or someone
appears to jolt the bed

and shake clayton awake.

At nighttime, it feels like

there's a shift
in the type of activity

we are witnessing.

It seems a little more forceful

and even perhaps
with more intense.

What strikes me when I see
this nighttime footage

is how vulnerable he must be

and how relatable that is.

In my field, it's often believed

that when you are sleep,
you travel.

There's astral travel,
and that's a place

where you can interact
with spirits.

If they have something to say,

perhaps it's through a dream,
through a way

that they don't have to manifest
in a physical form.

We're going to meet them
on their plane.

We're going to meet them
on their turf.

After viewing the tape,

clayton was too excited
to go back to sleep.

The haunting was real.

I personally feel this
was the spirit

that might have passed
in that room

that was just still there

and didn't even have anything
to do with me whatsoever.

Whatever the cause,

clayton had all the evidence
he needed.

The next morning,
he checked out... early.

I just felt terrified
being there.

Just a feeling.

And that's one of the things
I look for.

Not just objects moving,

not just that...
I go for the feeling

that you receive
from these places.

And that's what the kind
of stuff I look for as well.

to two members

of a russian paranormal team

when they encountered
a powerful poltergeist

in an abandoned home.

And it proved to be one of

the most terrifying experiences
of their lives.

It's the summer of
2019 in zelenogorsk,

The ghost hunting team

is approaching a long-abandoned
early 20th century home.

They've been here before
and believe it's haunted.

Now they're back hoping to catch

some paranormal activity
on camera.

Almost immediately,

they come
upon something disturbing.

A creepy stuffed animal...

Proof that someone
or something has been here

since their last visit.

They're a little freaked out,
but determined to make contact.

As they carefully make their way
through the upper level,

almost inch by inch,

they use a camera with a high
powered flash to capture

any potential entities
passing through.

These guys are trying
to collect as much data

and potential evidence
as possible,

and they're firing away
with their camera.

My concern with that
is it's going to mess up

their vision
in that darkened space

so they won't actually be able
to visually process

what's taking place around them.

I have no idea
what his strategy is,

but I'm going to say
it's deeply flawed.

If he cares about
his own safety.

They come upon a familiar room.

...And another sign
that something has changed

since their last visit.
Still, if I can say.

Although this is
what they came for,

their instincts
immediately scream...

Get out.

I would say it almost has to be

some sort of intelligent
haunting.

They're clearly toying
with these guys.

They're closing doors
in front of them.

They moved the chairs
right in front of them.

Whatever it is, they know
that those guys are there

and they're messing with 'em.

Panicked, they search
for a way out.

But even finding a way out of
this nightmare is a nightmare.

I guess
that these guys had just,

you know, met their threshold
of bravery

and said, you know what,
let's just get out of here.

I don't blame them.
I don't blame them.

It's like you're
playing hide and seek,

but that's their childhood home.
That's not your home.

You don't know where
the hiding spaces are.

But they own the space.

Like, there is nowhere
to hide there.

They will find you.

Unfortunately,
the only way out...

Is going back in.

They finally find an exit
and get out for good.

So what exactly was
happening inside this place?

It feels poltergeisty to me,

it doesn't seem like
a thoughtful,

intelligent presence
with a clear message

of, "I need you to accomplish
this on my behalf."

this feels like chaotic,
noisy, loud energy.

That was an extreme poltergeist.

Moving one chair half an inch

takes an incredible
amount of spiritual energy.

So just imagine how much energy
it would

take to move
all of those chairs at once.

It's very possible
that it's not just one spirit.

It could be multiple spirits.

It could be
an entire cadre of energy

that is either
holding domain there

or has come there
for whatever purpose.

And it's telling them,
"guys, it's time to go."

Whatever it was,
the nerv paranorm team

feels lucky to have
made it out unscathed.

a young american
private named billy booth

was held in a notorious
german prison camp

called stalag iib.

Wanting to lift the spirits
of his fellow prisoners,

private booth made
a ventriloquist puppet

to entertain them
using old newspapers

and other found materials.

He named it mr. Fritz.

Sadly, billy booth never made it
out of the camp alive.

But amazingly,
more than 70 years later,

his creation,
mr. Fritz lives on.

For real.

It was the fall of 2019
in liverpool, England.

Collector michael diamond began
noticing some strange activity

in his freak room,

a room in his home
filled with antique oddities.

A display case containing
the disembodied head of

mr. Fritz, a ventriloquist's

kept opening on its own.

One night, michael decided
to set up a camera,

and the next day
when he reviewed the footage,

his blood ran cold.

A few hours in,
mr. Fritz comes to life.

First, his eyes open.

Then the door opens.

But wait, there's more.

It's as if mr. Fritz
is being controlled

by someone or something
from beyond.

This clip was super creepy.

Dummies are creepy enough
even as a hobby,

but to see this one
actually move by itself,

it was just unbelievable.

It's creepy to see
a ventriloquist doll's eyes

open on its own, its mouth flap.

But then if you look closely
at the base of its head,

there are these little
mechanisms at the bottom

that you see moving,

which a ventriloquist
would manipulate,

you know, behind their heads

to make the eyes move
and the heads turn

and all those things.

It was like the ventriloquist
was still there,

moving the dummy,
testing it out, you know?

Yes, strings are moving.

It's... but what's moving
the strings?

What is mr. Fritz
trying to communicate?

I think these kind of
inanimate objects

can be a conduit
to the spirit world

just as much as
in a ouija board could.

If mr. Fritz's
movement is somehow a conduit

to the spirit world,

then who is using it
to communicate?

Maybe the answer lies in the
doll's sad and dramatic past,

a past that was revealed in
a letter attached to the dummy

when it was given to michael.

Mr. Fritz has
a very dark history to it.

It was made by a allied prisoner
in a german prison camp

named billy booth to entertain
the troops that were there.

Unfortunately, the germans made
him actually dig his own grave

and then they k*lled him.

I mean, when you die
an awful death,

like literally dying at the arms
of a firing squad

two weeks
before your camp was liberated,

I think that energy
is fluid and intelligent.

Even though he passed away,

he was probably aware
of how close he was to freedom.

You just have to put yourself
in that soldier's shoes

and understand
what that doll meant to him.

And there's definitely
an attachment

to something like that,
you know?

This doll was present

during some of the darkest days
of modern history.

So for me, it's not
an exceptional leap to think

that there was some
sort of energy connected to it.

And though the dummy's
body has long since been lost,

it makes sense that the spirit
would attach itself to the head,

the most important and most
communicative part of the doll.

But could other entities
also be making use of the dummy?

It's not just
the doll head moving.

It's also the door
to his case that moves.

That makes me think that

something is an enacting
upon it.

It's not coming
from the doll itself.

It's not the doll
which is haunted,

but there's energy around it
that might be using it

as a conduit for communication.

Either way,

since the activity
seems relatively harmless,

michael has learned
to live with a dummy

but is keeping a close eye
on him, just in case.

in more controlled environments

and see; if it were in my house,
though, I can guarantee you

that I would lock that

in the pitch darkness,

he begins to scan the area
with his night vision camera.

Is there a creature that
lives here?

He sees nothing...

Or so he thinks.

As a figure appears for a moment

on the right side
of your screen,

a figure that looks very much
like the owlman.

Oh, my god!

Although you only see it for
a few seconds.

I mean, it does have
the form of a man

and the drawings that people
that witnessed it drew.

And that they do look similar.

You can see
the horns sticking up.

It was pretty creepy.

Incredibly, mark didn't realize

what he had captured

until he reviewed
the footage later at his home.

He immediately broke out
into a cold sweat.

How close did he come
to being attacked?

Something to think about
with footage like this

is when you don't notice
something right near you

and you only pick up
on it later...

I don't know, that... that sends
a chill down my spine

because how vulnerable
were you at that moment?

Despite being freaked out,

mark was thrilled
with the footage he captured

and in reality was probably
never in any real danger,

at least not from
the owlman itself.

Like the mothman here
in the united states,

the owlman seems to be benign.

He's not evil. He's not good.

Owlman itself isn't really

something to be afraid of.

But people think that
he might be a sign

that something terrible
is about to happen.

If it is an omen of
bad things to come,

we may all be in
for some trouble.

Because lately both the owlman
and its american cousin,

the mothman, have been sighted
all over the world.

It's almost identical
to the stories

that we hear of the mothman
here in america

coming out of point pleasant,
west virginia.

The description
is almost identical,

and even mothman
is really described

as more of a birdlike creature
than an actual moth,

which is more terrifying,
of course,

because birds are the raptors,

are certainly more threatening
than moths are.

Whatever these
sightings signify,

one thing is for certain:

Mark is one of the very few,
if not the only person,

to have captured proof
of the owlman's existence.

The reason I love these kinds
of stories

is I'm always wondering,
is this alien in nature?

Is it extra dimensional?

Is it's supernatural?

Where is this thing coming from?

And I don't know.

And I don't think we really have
a firm grasp on it,

but it's popping up everywhere.

wreaks havoc in an apartment.

Most of us
have had this experience...

We hear a strange noise
in our home...

or find something on the floor
with no explanation

of how it got there.

Most of the time we chalk it up
to a random occurrence

or some figment
of our imagination

and go on with our day.

But what if the noises
and displacement of items

are so outrageous,

so beyond the norm,

that they can't be ignored?

Because the only
possible explanation

for them is paranormal?

That's what happened to
one young woman in russia.

And when she finally saw

she was terrified.

A 17 year old named nikita

has been experiencing peculiar
activity in her apartment.

The lights go on
and off for no reason.

And when she returns
from being out,

she sometimes finds
her apartment in disarray.

She finally decides to set up

to see if she can capture what
is happening while she is out:

One in her bedroom
and one in the kitchen.

When she reviews the footage,

it is beyond what she ever
thought possible.

as some kind of shadow figure
materializes for a moment.

And then gets to work,
wreaking havoc in her home.

Did you catch
what just happened?

It appears that
the shadow figure

is leaping around the room
as it causes this destruction.

But it's not finished yet.

Watch what the second camera
in the bedroom picks up.

The shadow figure generates
enough force

to rattle a heavy armoire,

and then...

Is heard stomping away.

The activity we're seeing here

almost looks like the activity

you would expect
with a poltergeist case,

but this just escalated
beyond anything

I've ever even heard of.

The action you see in this video
is pretty insane.

Whatever this thing is,

it wants to wreck
this apartment.

You actually hear the footsteps
of this thing walking away.

You don't usually hear that,
and the footsteps

weren't a light footstep,
they were heavy clomping.

So this thing
must have been huge.

Most times when we get
poltergeist type activity

on a video,
it's something falling down,

something moving,
a door opening, closing.

We'll see the effects,
but we won't see the culprit.

In this video,
not only do we see the culprit,

we seem to track its movements
throughout the entire room.

Now, at first, towards
the bottom of the screen,

you see something coalescing.

You see a shadow form
and it dissipates,

you think, okay, that's it,
that's all I'm going to get.

Then almost as if it's doing
some kind of acrobatics,

it's almost like
spiritual parkour.

It jumps onto the table,
jumps onto the floor.

You can track its movements
throughout the room...

As it comes around
behind the camera,

the camera jiggles,
something falls down,

continues its circuit.

It's jumping on whatever
table or something is there.

Something falls down.

And it's crouched down,

you could almost make out
an arm,

a shoulder, a head.

Something is poised to jump.

At one point, I almost felt like

maybe the spirit
wasn't even human.

I feel like I was leaning
towards animal.

Animal, not human...

In the paranormal world,
that could mean demonic.

Demonic haunting comes
from something

that was never human
to begin with.

So it's sort of in a way
like a species of its own.

And they come into your life
and cause a bunch of havoc.

Whatever this thing is,

one thing is clear:

It's determined to make a mess.

But why?

It may be angry at the person
that's living there

for some reason,
but another theory could be

is it's trying to get out of
this situation and it can't.

So you the only thing it knows
to do is like wreak havoc.

While having at least
some idea of what or who

is causing the issues in
her home is certainly helpful,

the most important question
still remains:

What, if anything,
can nikita do?

I would try and bring
in some people

to verify what what I'm seeing
and what I'm experiencing.

I would bring in a really
talented psychic medium

and see if there is
some kind of apparition

or intelligent spirits there,

if there can be some kind of
communication through that way.

Or perhaps
there's a simpler solution.

If I was those people,
I would get out of the apartment

and go find a place
that's not haunted

because there has to be at least

one not-haunted apartment
in russia.

wants to be known

to the people below it, so...

But why?

If something is appearing

in the skies over an area
like this,

one must wonder if we are
building toward something,

perhaps a mass revelation.

And the follow up question is,
are we ready for that?

If it is some
kind of revelation,

could it have something to do
with the long held belief

that the visitors are here
to give us something...

Or maybe take something away?

If you go way, way back
to even like mayan culture,

ancient esoteric societies
talk about these motherships

that they've seen, that have,
you know, taken people

and brought people
to this planet

and they bring either more
enlightened humanoid species

or take the most enlightened
human species with them.

And that's the whole thing
with the mothership.

They're literally like giant
cities that collect people

or bring people to this planet.

Or perhaps it's not
a mothership at all,

but rather a doorway
to another time and place.

The idea that what it is,
is a doorway or an opening

or some sort of intentionally
created passage space,

is, I think,
a really compelling idea,

especially these days
as we're looking to explain

why things would be present
sometime and not others.

So it depends a little bit
on what your favorite theory

is of how the universe works.

Is this an opening
into another dimension?

Is this an opening into another
aspect of the multiverse?

Is this an opening into some
sort of

space-time portal or a wormhole?

We won't know
until we go through it.

The object eventually
disappeared,

leaving many questions
unanswered.

But on the plus side,
no one was abducted by aliens,

at least as far as we know.
