03x21 - Secret Lives & Prison Wives

Post by bunniefuu »

Ray!

- Where is he gonna live?
- He's at his dad's house in Humble.

'I've just lied to my family again.'

Ray is paroling to my house.

Oh, my God!

It works best for me.

My 22-year-old son told me
he needed his mom right now.

You're just getting into
the best part of your life here.

You can break away
from all those problems.

- I'm going.
- Go.

You wouldn't act like this
if it was your child.

I raised my children right,
and you didn't.

You're a BLEEP piece of BLEEP.

- I wish I could take it back.
- I'll move past it, forgive him,

and give him another chance -
but on my terms this time.

One of the first rules
for working in a prison is

don't date an inmate.

I was sentenced to 60 days in jail,

and I'm currently serving
two years of sentence probation.

He's able to quarantine with me.

After that, though,
he has to go live away from me.

Yeah, you're in
a difficult spot here.

I think you're without options.

Come here.

I feel like a reborn virgin.

I've waited 11 years to marry Jeff.

HE CHUCKLES

This is about the damn dumbest thing
you've ever done.

Until recently,
I never had no intention at all

of actually coming
and living with her.

This the halfway house?
ANISSA: 'Why can't you see me?'

I believe that we're gonna have
a great life together.

NIKA: How much money
have you spent on her?

- 20, 30 grand.
- I am watching her.

I have not been touched
in four years.

By nobody?

NICOLLE: There's a few things
that I haven't told Daonte.

In prison,
I started dating this girl, Tia.

No sex until I get my boobies done.

Please.

DAONTE: Look at your fine self.
- Like my outfit?

Yes.

I didn't know what to wear.
I didn't wanna look like...

You ready to meet
the boogie monster? Ha-ha!

NICOLLE: LOL. So funny.

Does your mom like salad?

Whether she likes it or not,
we're doing something nice.

She'll appreciate it.

I was released from prison

and Daonte and I have
spent literally

every single waking moment together.

But I'm not ready to sleep with him.

So I said I would meet his mom.

I think my mom is gonna love you.

I really hope so.

Because if she don't,

I'm not coming to
see her ever again.

Nicolle does not seem
that thrilled to meet my mom.

It won't be long.
She'll come here to eat,

and we'll talk for a minute,
she'll go, OK?

- Promise?
- Yeah, I promise.

NICOLLE: OK.

You know, I plan to have it all,

a nice house with
the white picket fence everywhere.

You know, beautiful wedding.

'And I want it all
to be with Nicolle.

'So, you know, these are the two
most important women in my life.'

It's important to me
that they develop a relationship.

I need to talk to you
about something.

- What's that?
- My boob appointments.

I got the price sheet right here.

Are you serious?

Don't act mad because
you literally know

that boobs are thousands of dollars.

We've talked about this before.

This is actually really cheap,
$6,000.

Because guess what?
I thought I was gonna be $8,000.

So I was like,
"Ooh, this is good."

Oh, baby, that's a lot of money.
I mean...

But you said you were gonna pay it.

- I know what I said.
- But you literally...

I'm irritated
because you just got me so excited,

and you don't even have
the BLEEP money to pay for it.

Well, if I got to bust my a*s
at work or not pay my rent,

I can figure it out.

You would not pay your bills
to pay for my boob job?

That's what it takes
to keep you satisfied, baby,

I guess so.

OK, that makes me a little happy.

You know what?
It's BLEEP Tia's birthday.

I forgot.

I need to call her
and tell her happy birthday.

- Tia?
- Yeah.

Same one you used to date?

You just still communicating
with this person.

I mean, she's my friend, Daonte.

I wouldn't do BLEEP like that,
and...

That's my friend.

Especially not on the night
you supposed to meet my mama.

There is nobody that can tell me
what to do in this world,

so he's trying to control
the wrong one.

Happy birthday!

Can I have a second, please?

You're in my house,
with a phone that I pay for,

talking to your ex.

Can I please
just have five minutes, like...

I mean, he just followed me in here.

He's tripping.

You don't feel well?

I'm trying to come take care of you.
SHE CHUCKLES

But if I was in there
talking to my ex,

it'd be a problem.

I don't want to meet his mom.
Come get me.

What BLEEP is this?

Oh, my God,
he is so BLEEP disgusting.

Did I just hear her say what?

He has a BLEEP nasty-a*s sex toy,

and I told him
to throw it the BLEEP away.

I just came in his room
to talk to you,

and I was just, like,
creeping around,

looking like,
"What kind of BLEEP he got?"

I walk over here.
It's underneath the bed.

When I was in prison, Daonte told me
that he had a sex toy.

Oh, the thought of him BLEEP
this thing just...

it creeps me out.

It's not even like
a life-sized doll.

It's so nasty.

All right, I'll talk to you later.

What the BLEEP is that?
- BLEEP that.

That ain't what we talking about
right now.

Don't change the BLEEP subject.
You wanna take the heat off you?

You're sitting in here,
in my BLEEP house,

making a joke out of me
to some b*tch you been BLEEP.

- Were you sitting in here?
- I heard all that BLEEP.

What I say?
Please tell me, word for word.

"I want you to come get me."

BLEEP.
- I did not BLEEP say that!

OK, oh,
so I'm just hearing sh*t now, right?

You are tripping.
I asked her to come and get me.

- So you come here...
- I asked her...

Hold up... I asked her...

No, don't you put your hand
in my face.

I asked her to come and get me.

"I don't wanna be here."
I heard what you said.

Yeah, because just found
that dumb-a*s sex doll,

and I was pissed the BLEEP off.
- BLEEP that.

You trying to BLEEP play me.
- That doll is freaking me out.

You can give me my BLEEP phone back
and all that BLEEP I bought.

If you in this for
what you can get out of it,

get the BLEEP out of here, man.

I just wanna take you back
to my place, and we can talk,

maybe just hold each other
a little bit.

Let's go. Right now.

What do you think?
You wanna hit the road,

have some privacy
and some comfort at home?

So, what do you really wanna do?

Well, of course
I wanna make love to you

because I love you.

Well, you know, I'll go

and, you know,
visit for a little while with you

and try to talk some more.
- Let's do.

- Communicate.
- Absolutely.

The communication is what we need.

But I'm not promising I'm staying.

OK, well, let's get there first,

and then talk
and decide what we wanna do.

Well...

You know, it'll be fun.

Let's go.
- You ready to go hang?

We're gonna hang.

Let's do it, baby.
- All right.

Me leaving here with him tonight
doesn't mean that we're...

everything's cookies and cream.

Come here.

He owes me some money.

I had to fork some money out
for motels,

clothes that he promised
that he was gonna pay for.

So, yeah, obviously now
we're in a whole other ball game.

KISSING,
HE LAUGHS

I definitely have some rules

and some boundaries
and stipulations in this.

So he's gonna give in,
or it's kick rocks.

My life is so chaotic right now.
Everything is whack.

Nothing went the way
it was supposed to. Nothing.

Well, hopefully we can get it back
to where we wanted it.

I said some stupid BLEEP.

- Yeah, you did.
- I agree.

So now you're gonna have to show me

because you showed me
something totally different.

Maybe I need to get my own place.

You know,
like, a one-bedroom place.

I want you to stay with me.

Well, that's not gonna happen
right now.

Maybe in four to six months.

Are you gonna help me
look for a place,

or how is this gonna work?

But I thought you believed
in forgiveness.

I do. You're damn right I do.

Or I wouldn't be sitting
right here in this car right now

after what you said to me.

So, and I immediately
have to get a car.

That's the bottom line.

So, we can go to a car lot
and just pick out a car, right?

Well...

It just scares me
that you're gonna be driving

without a driver's licence.

Listen, I'll figure it out.
If that's the least thing

that ever happens to me,
well, God bless it.

There's a long waiting list
just to even take a driver's test.

When I was a prison, though,

you told me you was gonna give me
$5,000 for a car.

This is what you told me.
- Well...

So that changed?
Just tell me if it changed.

I'll give you $5,000
and let you go to jail.

- I'm a big girl.
- You're gonna be sorry.

Why am I gonna be sorry?
Why do you have to act like this?

I'm not acting like anything.

'She's made all these demands.'

"I need a car,
I need a place to stay,

"I need these things from you."

This was never the way she was.

It's as if, uh,
it's punishment for me.

- Let's get this established.
- Yes, ma'am.

Yeah, these are goals of mine,
and I'm gonna establish them.

SIREN WAILING

- Oh, it's a cop.
- A BLEEP cop?!

Oh, my God.
- I wasn't doing anything.

STAN:
What have I gotten myself into?

BRITNEY: Oh, there he is!

I don't even know if Ray's
gonna get in the car with me.

Where you going, Raymond?

What is going on?

You ain't intimate with your man
in four years?

A woman like that
could only wanna be with him

for materialistic reasons.

I'm scared to have sex.

I don't think you have a problem
being intimate.

I think that you have a problem
being intimate with him.

I got a tan just so
when he sees me naked

for the first time,
I won't be so pale and white,

and it won't show all my flaws.

I am so excited that Jeffrey
is getting to come home finally.

Seems like it's been forever
I've been waiting on him.

Jeff's been in the halfway house
for a few weeks now,

and the time has been long
and arduous

because we've been together
for 11 years,

but we haven't been able
to start our life together,

and I haven't been able
to see him at all.

I mean, I've had 11 years of him,

but not of him,
you know what I mean?

It was the imaginary boyfriend
kind of thing.

I'm not gonna lie,

I've been a little anxious
because the first two times

that Jeffrey got released,
he ghosted me.

And the last time
I went to see Jeff,

he couldn't get a pass that day.

'He did ask for money.'

I'm nervous.

It's pretty scary.

Trust is definitely gonna be
an issue between the two of us,

and it's something that
we're both gonna have to work on.

There he is, there he is,
there he is!

Hey, baby.

JEFF: You look so good.

ANISSA: So good.

I love you.

- I love you, too.
- I love you more.

THEY LAUGH

I wanna get the BLEEP away
from this place

as fast as possible to spend
some time together and sit and talk.

SHE LAUGHS
Lay and talk.

Roll around and talk.
Do all kinds of talking.

ANISSA: Here we go.

So, when Penny went by
and looked at the flowers yesterday

that we're gonna have
for the wedding.

- Yeah.
- And I told her that I wanted...

I want those purple-coloured roses,

and I want plum-coloured tulips
in there, too,

you know what I mean?

Yeah.

I have the whole wedding
planned out in my head.

We're gonna get married
in two and a half months

on this little wooden bridge
in the forest.

I am so ready
to start my life with Jeff.

- Really?
- Mm-hm.

- So, they could not approve it?
- Yeah.

He just told me that today.

- Today?
- Today.

JEFF: 'Who wants a wedding more?'

I would have to say is Anissa,
for sure.

ANISSA: All right, baby, we're home.

- This is it?
- This is it.

- I like the porch on it, too.
- Yeah, it has a nice porch.

Here you go, babe.

It's your home.
- I love it!

It's awesome.
Looks good in here.

It's definitely a 100% upgrade
from where I was at.

Is there food in the refrigerator?
- Oh, yeah. Check it out.

Oh, God, babe!
This is awesome.

I can have anything
I want out of here?!

- Of course you can.
- I got to charge up.

I got to plug into this wall
twice a day for an hour.

- Just like a lamp.
- Just like a lamp.

And then that light comes on,

and when that light fills up,
it's good, when he goes up to three.

'I have to wear the ankle bracelet
for three more months.'

What you do that for?

Cos I wanted to make sure
you were real.

Baby, I'm real.
I'm here, ain't I?

So, how much juice
you got on that thing?

I got a little bit on there.
Why? What's up?

I've waited 11 years
to take you to my bedroom.

BLEEP. You should have said that
when we first got here.

SHE CHUCKLES
You ready?

You sure you got enough juice?

- Yeah, I definitely do, baby.
- OK.

I'm definitely looking forward
to having a sexual encounter

with Anissa.

'I ain't been with a woman
in 37 months.'

I'll be right back.

Whatever we got to do, right?

Hey, Miss Sue!

Ray's been in the halfway house
for two months,

and he's getting out today.

He never told me that
his grandmother was gonna be there.

So at this point right now,

I don't even know if Ray's
gonna get in the car with me.

I didn't know you were coming.

I didn't know, either.
I hadn't planned on it.

- Does he know you're coming?
- Uh-uh.

- OK.
- Won't be long.

I know. Finally.

I heard that.

I decided to come here today
because Ray is my grandson,

and I don't need a reason

or an invitation
to come and see him.

We do.
THEY LAUGH

Ah. OK.

'I don't know anything
about Britney.'

He met her on the internet,

and I don't know what
her intentions are for my baby.

SUE: There he is.

Oh, there he is!
SHE LAUGHS

Where you going, Raymond?

Oh, no jaywalking.

Hey!

Hey!

I'm looking at Ray like,
"What is going on?

"What are you about to do?"

LAUGHTER

You're looking' good, baby.

OK. You're gonna go with me still,
or you gonna go with your grandma?

BRITNEY LAUGHS
SUE: All right.

Be good now.
RAY: I'll talk to you, OK?

At this point in the game,
I'm gonna keep an eye on them...

..and whether Britney likes it
or not, intervene if I have to.

No more county.

Uh-uh.

Let me see.

Oh, my God!
You said it was gonna be big.

Hope you don't put your leg on me

and, like, kick me with it
or something.

We gonna have to fight then.

Look. What do you think
about your house?

SHE LAUGHS

You was waiting on your daddy?

RAY: What's going on?
- Here's King.

- Come on.
- Come here, King.

Come on.
So, this is the living room.

I like it.

And this is our room.
Look at the bed.

It look way more comfortable
than the one in prison.

Know what I'm saying? No iron.

And I can stretch out.
I'ma like this a lot.

We can just chill together,
be together all day.

Yeah.

Um...

Let's go check this kitchen out.
I'm hungry.

OK.

I kind of thought it would be,
like, non-stop touching.

Like, I thought I'd be even barely
be able to make him breakfast.

I got some breakfast I can make you.
- Mm-hm.

Gonna make some pancakes, too.
Yeah.

So I wanna feed him,
and then I wanna BLEEP him.

Feed him and BLEEP him.
That'll teach him.

Yeah.

SHE LAUGHS,
CORK POPS

I'm very attracted to Britney.

'I'm interested in being intimate
with her.'

But it's been about
three and a half years

since I've been with a woman.

How about we take these to the room?

And you finish feeding these to me.

- In the room?
- How about that?

OK. Give me a kiss.

Mm.

Let's go.

SHE LAUGHS

GIGGLING

STAN: Oh, it's a cop.
LISA: A BLEEP cop?!

STAN: Honey, will you relax?

LISA:
'I have 15 felonies on my record.'

If he asks me for my ID,
back-up's coming,

four or five cop cars, they're
fixing to tear his Mustang apart.

This is really bad.

I'm sorry, baby.

COURTNEY: Josh has been
quarantining with me

for almost 14 days.

I don't even know
how to describe it.

Like, he's just not there.

'I went to jail for being with Josh,

'and I'm still on probation.'

So I feel like he could
at least put in an effort and try.

But it makes me really sad
because he has been disapproved

from living with me,

and he will be paroling
to his cousin soon.

- Hi.
- Hello.

- Are you Courtney?
- Yes, ma'am.

- I'm Holly.
- Hello, Holly. Nice to meet you.

This is beautiful.
- Oh, thank you.

Is this your first time shopping?

Yes, this is my first time
wedding-dress shopping.

Oh, boy.

We were married,
but it was a double proxy marriage,

so neither of us were there.

So now we are looking
to have an actual wedding

when both of us are there.

Even though things have been
a little rocky between us,

I'm hoping that taking the step
of wedding dress shopping,

that's a step in
the right direction.

Hi, Courtney.

- Audra!
- Hi.

Thank you for coming. Oh!

I like dress shopping. It's fun.

You should find something flowy.

So you look, like, all majestic
when you're walking down,

like, "I own this place."

How have things been going?
Good, bad, ugly?

I mean, everything's
been going good, you know?

It hasn't been awkward.
It hasn't been weird.

It's just... I thought
it was gonna be different.

It's frustrating because, like,
he doesn't do anything.

What do you mean
he doesn't do anything?

Like, he just sits there

and plays the game the whole time
until he goes to bed.

Yeah? Do you feel like
he spends more time

playing video games
than hanging out with you?

Oh, absolutely.

I want him to be more affectionate.

- Have you guys even had sex yet?
- Yeah, we have.

A couple times.

He's too tired.

That's lame.

It hurts me that Josh,
he's not in the mood for sex.

Almost every time, turns me down,

and it takes a serious toll
on my heart.

As corny as it sounds,
I wish he'd hold my hand more.

And also, like,
it's still frustrating

because he flushed his ring
down the toilet.

SHE LAUGHS
Why?

I..
Honestly, I don't even remember.

We got in a fight.
He got pissed off.

He flushed his ring
down the toilet.

I thought he was lying,
but he wasn't.

So was this recently,
or was it a while back?

It was like a month
before he got out.

So, like, he was still in prison,
in his moods.

I don't know if I'll be able
to forgive him,

but I know relationships
are a give and take,

and I don't want that to get in
the way of us having a wedding.

No.

I'm putting a different one on.

When Josh and Courtney
are fighting,

it's probably like that song
where a tornado meets a volcano.

Utter chaos.
I have worries about them making it.

Come on out. I wanna see it.

Oh, I like it already.

Yeah, dude.

SHE LAUGHS

'This is my first time
in a wedding dress.'

I feel beautiful.
- Bing!

- Can I see?
- Hold on.

Pfft!

I'd marry me.

HOLLY:
Is that it? Is that the dress?

COURTNEY: Like, I know everything
isn't perfect...

..but what does worrying do?

'Josh and I know for sure
that we will be separated soon.'

And there's a potential
that my husband and I

can be separated
from living with each other

for up to three years.

I want him to prove to me
that this is what he really wants.

Give me my BLEEP phone back
and all that BLEEP I bought.

If you in this
for what you can get out of it,

get the BLEEP out of here, man.

- Are you done?
- Let me tell you,

you ain't and end all, be all.
- Oh, my God, shut the BLEEP up.

- I could've been cheated on you.
- OK.

I'm not BLEEP arguing with you
no more.

I'm not doing it. This is stupid.

- What we gonna do to fix this?
- I mean, what do you wanna do?

I wanna make this work.
I love you, Nicolle.

OK, so why the BLEEP
did you come here acting crazy?

You're BLEEP crazy.

You not gonna
make no fool out of me.

I'm not... I'm not arguing with you.
Stop BLEEP arguing with me.

I don't appreciate her
communicating with her ex

and talking about me.

I mean, you should be happy
that I decided to go get a toy

so I can be loyal to you.

My mama's getting ready
to come here, right?

- So stop BLEEP with me.
- Can we just have a civil night?

OK.

We love each other.
We shouldn't be fighting like that.

NICOLLE: I'm getting a drink.

- Get me a beer.
- I don't do the arguing BLEEP.

It's childish.
Do I look like a child?

I need to calm my nerves.

You know I hate fighting
with you like that, right?

Yeah. So why are we still
talking about it?

SHE HICCUPS
Mm.

KNOCK ON DOOR
Well...

Hey, Mom.
- Hey, son. How are you?

- Good, good. You look good, Mom.
- Thank you.

- Mom, this is Nicolle.
- Hi.

- Hi.
- Baby, this is my mama.

- Nice to meet you finally...
- Nice to finally meet you.

..formally.
I've heard a lot about you.

- Same here.
- I'm sure.

Well...

it's good that the two of y'all
are getting acquainted.

Just another white, blonde
stripper type.

And that's what my son goes for.

So, Nika...

..I'm glad to finally be
sitting down with you.

I'm sitting here real calm,
cool and "collective",

and on the inside,

I feel like I got bouncy ba*ls
jumping all over me.

She's looking at me like,

"I don't know who the BLEEP
this little blonde b*tch is,

"but she's not good enough
for my son."

I'm sure you know
all about my situation,

and meeting people in prison

is always gonna be something
to be sceptical about.

But, like, I'm not going anywhere,
you know?

Like, I love your son, and I just...

I wanna us to be able to have
a good, like, relationship.

You love my son?

I do love your son.

You love my son why?

He is... He's a big gentleman.
You've raised a good man.

I do know that.

I know his character.
NICOLLE: Mm-hm.

I know that he wears
his heart on his sleeve.

And that's why
I'm so protective over him.

Because he's been through a lot.

I know.

Well, here's how I feel
about the situation.

I love the fact that
you're protective over me.

But I also need you to understand
that I'm a grown man.

This is who I chose to be with.

This is the woman that I want to be
your daughter-in-law one day.

This is the woman I want to be

the mother of your grandkids
one day.

So if you can't accept her,
you know what that mean?

You can't accept me.

You not coming at me like that.

You can't tell me who to
and who not to accept.

You barely know this woman.

So let's put it
out here on the table.

I feel like a lot of your doubts,

they come from him being
with that girl Chelsea

and her doing him so wrong,

and then I guess the simple fact
that she was also in prison.

Yes, I have asked
your son for money,

but I am very tired
of being compared to this girl

because I definitely
have not asked for half

the crazy BLEEP
that she has asked for.

It's not that I like
to compare y'all.

It's just that when
the similarities are so close,

you don't have a choice, it's hard.

You paranoid all the time
cos of what you been through.

Well, you couldn't have been
that paranoid

if you went back
to the website again.

Who's side you on?

When she got out,
she was acting standoffish

like she didn't wanna be around me.

You been out a week now,

and I still sleep in this house
every night by myself.

To me...

NIKA: Stop the bus.
- ..that's not...

That's...
- Stop the bus.

How you gonna have
a relationship like that?

You've been locked up
for four years away from men.

Let's be real. We as women,
we love sex just like men.

There's something wrong
with that picture,

that you have a problem
being intimate.

All right, Ma.

I don't think you have a problem
being intimate.

I think that you have a problem
being intimate with him.

Yes, I do wanna have sex,
but it's also like I'm having...

I'm scared to have sex,
you know what I'm saying?

But you wasn't scared
to ask him for money.

A woman like that could only
wanna be with him, I think,

for materialistic reasons.

She say she's around
for the long haul,

but so would I if I could get
whatever I wanted.

NICOLLE: But I know, like,
it's not something...

Man. Come on, man.
Come on. Come on.

You ain't been intimate
with your man in four years?

I know how I feel, and...

I mean, for Christ's sakes,
he's up here with a blow-up doll.

Where did you go the other times
when you got out?

There's something
I'm keeping from Anissa.

I'd like to talk to you
about something.

Keep your friends close
but your enemies closer.

DAONTE:
'As long as Nicolle has been out,

'she has never just sat
on that porch.'

Something's just telling me,
"Turn your a*s around, brother."

'Please don't let this be
what I think it is.'

COURTNEY:
'As a lieutenant in the prison,

'I would conduct
my own investigations.'

A lot of officers
are very routine,

they do their shakedowns
at the same time every day,

so the inmates already know
they've done their shakedowns.

They start to get lazy,

so I would literally
just pop into inmates' cells,

and a good majority of the time,
they would have contraband,

whether it was tattooing needles,
drugs, cellphones.

They would have them
just sitting out

on their desk or on their bed.

The prison system absolutely
is a boys' club.

One of our deputy wardens told me

that I was doing too much
and making people look bad.

And people don't like that.

SHE CHUCKLES

Dirty BLEEP.

ANISSA:
That was really good, baby.

JEFF:
Thank you, baby. It was awesome.

So, are you ready for round two?

HE CHUCKLES
You know I am.

JEFF: I don't think I can probably
get out of bed right now.

Yeah, I understand.

I don't wanna go anywhere, anyway.

Me either.
Nowhere I'd rather be than here.

ANISSA: 'Last night was amazing.
Better than I had hoped for.'

But I'm a lady.
I don't share the details.

I don't think Anissa
has any shy bone in her body

when it comes to sex.

So, what does this tattoo mean?

This, Hayley, that was one Desi.

That was one I was with before
I got locked up this time.

Well, as long as they're all
covered up, that's fine with me.

We're definitely gonna cover it up.

I'm gonna get your name somewhere
where it'll never be covered up.

Exactly.
Would you like some breakfast?

Yeah.

It's very easy to meet women,

but I'm not gonna look at women
and talk to them

in that kind of way because
I wanna be faithful to Anissa.

PHONE CHIMES

CHIMING CONTINUES

Christine.

Christine is the first girl
that I ever loved.

I haven't talked to her in years,
but when I got to the halfway house,

she messaged me and told me
that she wants to see me.

Thank you, baby.

Anissa doesn't know anything
about my relationship with Christine

or anything about me talking to her
on the phone.

So, how did you sleep last night?

Very good. How did you sleep?

I was cold most of the night.
You steal all the covers.

You shouldn't have
made me that sleepy.

SHE LAUGHS

Oh, here's this BLEEP guy again,
man.

ANISSA:
You ain't got to be like that.

- What's up, bro?
KYLE: What's up?

ANISSA: Hey.

I do live on
the same property as Kyle,

so he does pop in from time to time.

Would you like some breakfast?
- Sure. Why not?

All right.
I'll go get you a plate.

You're awesome.

How was the first night at home?

- It was good.
- Was it?

- I loved it.
- Awesome.

I've been in your shoes.
I've got out.

I've been incarcerated myself.

I definitely know
what men will say

to get what they want from a woman.

I see, like, the ex-con in him.

'And being as good friends
as me and Anissa have been

'for all these years,
I plan to be keeping an eye on him.'

You know, I didn't have
nowhere to go, nothing to go to.

You know, I just hope
you realise how lucky you are

to come have a beautiful home,

have, you know what I mean,
a caring person there for you.

You know what I mean?

Where did you go the other times
when you got out?

Did you have somewhere
like this to go or...?

Went to the streets, sh**ting dope.
That's what I went back to.

- Yeah.
- I gave her up for that.

But I didn't have no feelings
for her then.

- Right.
- I didn't care about nothing then.

All I cared about
was getting that next shot

or that next hit or that next line,
whatever it was.

You know, that BLEEP
is hard to shake, man.

- Oh, yeah.
- And even after you shake it,

it's still hard to deal with
on a daily basis.

So, what's different
about this time?

I mean...
- I allowed myself to fall in love.

And it changed everything.
I'm glad I did.

- Opened up your heart, sounds like.
- Yes.

JEFF:
'There's a very good possibility

'that me and Kyle
could become friends.'

But I'm definitely using

the "keep your friends close
but your enemies closer" scenario.

I got to... I'd like to talk
to you about something.

And I ain't told Anissa this yet.

'I'm definitely keeping a secret
from Anissa,

'and it's bigger than Christine.'

Trying to figure out the best way
and the right time to tell her

where it don't hurt her
and don't make her feel

a certain way about the situation.

Ain't gonna lie, baby. I was scared.

But, um,
I think Moms kind of liked you.

I feel like this is, like,
the start of a new beginning.

Like, we done met
each other's families, you know?

NICOLLE:
'That dinner was BLEEP rough.'

But I did it because
I care about Daonte.

I just feel like
we ready for that next step.

Maybe one day we can, like,
stay together, you know?

I mean, I think it's time.

When I was in prison,

I could not wait to get home
and have sex, like, for hours.

'But Daonte talks about it

'and makes little comments
about it all the time.

'And that makes me feel...
It makes me feel, like, pressure.'

And the more pressure I feel,

it's, like, the more
that I kind of, like, back away.

Well, thanks for driving me home.

DAONTE: Yeah.

You don't have to come in,
cos everyone's sleeping,

and I don't want
the dogs to wake my mom up.

I was gonna walk you
to the door like always.

I know. I just didn't...
I don't want the dogs to bark.

Oh. I mean...

My mom gets mad at me,
then she wakes up.

And I have to hear her mouth,
and I don't feel like it.

DAONTE: I guess.

I'll see you tomorrow.

- OK.
- All right?

All right, baby.

- Drive safe home.
- Yeah.

Every time I take Nicolle home,
I walk her to the door

to make sure
she gets into the house.

'As long as Nicolle has been out,

'she has never just sat
on that porch.'

Something's just telling me,
"Turn your a*s around, brother."

NICOLLE: Ooh. So cold.

I'm hoping this ain't
what I think it is.

Please don't let this be
what I think it is.

NICOLLE: Oh, God, the rain.

DAONTE: What the BLEEP
you doing, Nicolle?

I just got out of prison
two days ago.

I cannot have my name ran.
My parole officer would BLEEP.

Stan does not check
to see if I'm OK.

I got to get out of here
before it gets really bad.

I'm not trying
to go back to prison.

STAN: Honey, will you relax?
LISA: No, I am relaxed.

SIREN WAILING
Oh, it's a cop.

- A BLEEP cop?! Oh, my God.
- I wasn't doing anything.

What have I gotten myself into?

I'm glad I have my licence with me.

Um, I have my state prison ID.

I was driving.
It won't matter to you.

BLEEP the way things go.

I just got out of prison
two days ago.

I cannot have my name ran.
My parole officer would BLEEP.

I don't think I've ever been
pulled over with a cop

and not went to jail.

I have 15 felonies on my record,
and 13 of them are for drugs.

So I know that
if he asks me for my ID,

back-up's coming, like,
four or five cop cars,

and they're fixing
to tear his Mustang apart.

What did I do, Officer?

Well...

Yeah, here's the licence.
I'm looking for the insurance.

I know.

Yeah.

LISA: I have anxiety.
It's through the roof.

I can't believe this.

I have PTSD just from
blue and red lights.

And Stan does not check
to see if I'm OK.

I guess it was a red light,

but the yellow light
didn't stay on long enough.

See how easy it would be
to happen to you.

He's only concerned about
his little perfect driving record.

Mr "I've only had one ticket".

- Yeah, me and my big mouth, right?
- That's right.

STAN: Here's the insurance.

Oh, thank you.

- Sorry about that, Officer.
- You have a good one.

You too. Thank you.

Hey, he was an all-right guy.

My God.

ENGINE STARTS,
SHE SIGHS

STAN: All right.

See, he ran my record,
seen it was perfect.

So he gave me a warning.
- Must be nice.

I got me a break.

I need a break.

I am willing to put
the police behind me,

get home,
and have some good times.

Oh, God.

BRAKE CLICKS
STAN: I know, baby.

It was a rough night.

Let's go up, cuddle up,
have a little private time.

LISA: There's lots of things
that we still need to talk about.

I'm tired,
and I wanted to cuddle with you.

You're acting like...
This is the Stan that I don't like.

You're acting like...
- I'm not doing anything.

Stan definitely expect me
to just go upstairs

and strip my clothes off
and... get 'er done.

Uh, no. No. No.

I'm not just gonna jump in bed
and have sex with him.

STAN: I didn't say that.
LISA: I'm getting pissed off.

- I'll tell you what, then. Go!
- Here you go with that BLEEP again.

You're being
the same BLEEP deranged lunatic

that you were the other night.

BLEEP leave me alone.

What the BLEEP are you
talking about?

Just don't start putting
your hands up.

- You're BLEEP truly crazy.
- Bye.

You're BLEEP delusional.

You're the one that wants a car
without a driver's licence.

You just got pulled over,
you BLEEP crazy BLEEP.

At least I got a car.

Totally disgusting.

So, I got to get out of here
before it gets really bad.

You know, I mean, I'm pretty
BLEEP pissed off right now.

This BLEEP worthless piece of BLEEP.

STAN: Here's her BLEEP.

And then he throws my BLEEP outside.
You BLEEP.

All because I didn't...
wouldn't run up the stairs

and go jump in his bed.

So this is what you get right here.
This is top-of-the-line douchebag.

He's the same BLEEP,
and he's dead sober.

So I do have to get out of here

because he probably
will call the cops on me.

I mean, he was acting like
I was gonna hit him over there.

It did entertain my mind
for a second.

But, I mean,
I wasn't going to, so...

I'm not trying to go back to prison

over some BLEEP 65-year-old
BLEEP lunatic.

She is not nice to me at all.
She makes nothing but demands.

What do I ask from her? Nothing.

LISA: I'm going to the hotel,
and Stan can BLEEP right off.

He's a free millionaire, ladies.

If Jeff doesn't tell Anissa
his secret,

I'm gonna do it myself.

Your people don't even know him

because you ain't really feeling
that good about him.

Today being the weekend, he's not
even supposed to go anywhere.

If somebody pisses me off,
I might go back!

I gave up BLEEP everything for you.

Good job, babe.

You just met my BLEEP mama, bro!
Ultimate betrayal.

BLEEP.
You're full of BLEEP Nicolle.
