We had a lot of talent and
all of the pieces to win,

but we didn't.

Aubrey made three saves,
and it is what it is.

There was so much excitement

throughout the season
leading up into that game.

I mean, I felt good.

I feel like the team felt good

and then when it comes down to
shots like that, I don't know.

It was tough. It was tough.

It was just like,
"Oh, like that?"

Like really? Like that's
how we end the season?

That's how this whole
season is gonna finish?

we were very connected.

Like, it was just completely
different energies.

Aubrey just did her thing,
and I didn't have to take one.

So that was nice. [laughs]

it's about the personality

have gotten it.

showed your qualities,

what everything that
you've put into this,

has been truly amazing, that
you've made my job so much easier.

He's the first coach that

of gave us all that feeling of like,

We had a good mindset

Like, I felt like we had
been pushing the pace

and I felt like we had an
advantage mentally in that game.

knock that disrupted her back.

In the first half, I
had hit an awkward shot

and I tweaked it a little
bit, and then after that,

it was kind of just
jammed the entire game.

It was a championship and I felt
like I needed to play through it.

I regret not
acknowledging the fact

that I wasn't being the
player that I needed to be.

the championship game,

I think with my dad's situation,

it's just gotten more
sad as time's gone on.

think, frustrating for me as a mother.

Frustrating for me because
it was always about him,

and it wasn't about him.

When he showed up at
my game, I was so mad.

He grabs my head, and I just
start bawling into his arms

as if like it's a
daddy-daughter moment.

After that was when I lost
hope in ever getting him back.

In terms of our family,

I feel like we're in the best
place that we've been with it.

[Michelle] She's still, I
shouldn't say, "just my daughter,"

'cause she's amazing
and I'm so proud of her,

but she's in a sense, kinda
still just my daughter.

as it sucks to lose,

I think last year was the

off season already.

It's a blessing and a curse

the first person you saw

from your family after the game?

Evin was the first
one that I saw.

he was more
emotional than I was.

He just said,
like, "You did it."

And I looked up at
him, and I'm like,

"No, we did it".

[Kylie] It was such a big moment
to be on that stage with Marta.

The fact that like...
I'm gonna get emotional,

'cause it's like, I was
standing in the back,

and Marta's like, "No,
no, Kylie, come here".

She didn't have to do that.

That is her moment, she should be
the only one lifting that trophy.

She deserved that moment, and
it just speaks to who she is.

"No, I wanna lift it with you."

Like that's... Yeah, it's crazy.

It's just like, she's my hero.

That is the best
moment of my life,

and I promise you nothing
will ever beat it.
