08x23 - Sweet Evil

Post by bunniefuu »

Baby, you scare me.

Do I?

Well, what are you afraid of, Cass?

Losing Beau?

I don't know you anymore, Mary Ann.

You never did.

- Are you the manager? - Yeah.

We're looking for Harper Jay.

- Well, who wants him? - FBI.

[dramatic music]

Cass! Now, I don't wanna hurt anybody.

I just want them stones.

Alright, Beau, here they are.

[theme music]

[male narrator] "The FBI.."

A Quinn Martin production.

Starring Efrem Zimbalist Jr..

Also starring Philip Abbott..

William Reynolds.

With guest stars, Andrew Prine..

Jo Ann Harris..

Melissa Murphy..

Michael Baseleon.

Tonight's episode, "Sweet Evil."

You know, Kelsey, that's the best weekend we had

since I've been tending bar for you.

I ain't complaining.

How much you think we took in tonight?

That's more than 20,000.

That's not too hard to take.

Well, we just drop this little bitty bag

off the night deposit box

and then we'll sleep till noon tomorrow.

Hi.

I'm back.

I thought you said you had a date when you left?

[chuckles] I did, with a farmer and it was a drag.

'Anyway the night hasn't turned itself around yet.'

That sounds a little bit like an invitation.

It was meant to be.

Do we need all this company?

Goodnight, boys.

We'll just run a little errand

and then we'll have a nice old party.

[chuckles]

You've been working yourself hard, honeybunch.

You need time to relax.

I'll get us a bottle.

Just a second, I got some right here.

Now.

[Beau] 'Please keep your eyes straight ahead, Mr. Waller.'

You got a .38 pointed at the side of your head.

Yeah, and you better do exactly as he says, honeybunch

'cause my friends got a very short fuse.

Now, slow, really slow.

I want you to reach down and hand me that bag.

Hey, wait a minute. Beau.

[g*nsh*t]

Get out of here!

[tires screeching]

[theme music]

On the night of April 8th, a man and a woman

held up the owner of a nightclub

in Pine Bluff, Arkansas

taking the weekend receipts amounting to over $20,000

in cash and checks.

When the victim positively identified the male assailant

as Beau Parker, an FBI ten most wanted fugitive

being sought for bank robbery

the bureau immediately entered the case.

It's my own fault.

I should've known better, but I just can't resist

a pretty face.

Did she tell you her name?

Kate Michaels. Does this sort of thing happen often?

Too often. Had she, uh, been in here before?

Oh, couple of times.

She's always with that guy that..

- 'What-what was his name?' - Parker.

According to the police, you fellas are looking for him

for bank robbery? He really shot a guard?

That's right.

Well, I guess I'm pretty lucky at that.

I don't suppose she, uh,

mentioned anything about herself?

Where she came from, for example?

No.

Alright, Mr. Waller, thank you.

Easy come, easy go.

I've already kissed that money goodbye, inspector.

I just hope you nail her.

[sighs]

The state police found Waller's car, Lou.

It was abandoned in a shopping center parking lot

on the outskirts of Little Rock.

There were several good latents on the car mirror, and, uh

the police also report a late model light blue station wagon

missing from the same lot.

They've already sent it in to the NCIC.

John, ask the bureau to check the name Kate Michaels

in the alias file.

[instrumental music]

Oh.

- Well, good morning. - Oh, sorry, I slept so late.

- How do you feel? - Oh, I feel fine.

You want me to drive?

No, I'm okay.

- You sure? - Yeah.

- Hey, you hungry? - Yeah.

Well, I'll stop up here someplace.

Where are we anyway?

We just crossed over into Tennessee

a couple of minutes back.

Well, yeah.

On behalf of the people of Tennessee

I welcome you to my fair estate, Mr. Parker.

Well, I can tell you, I'm glad to be here.

Hey, do you come from around here someplace?

That's right.

Sweet little old town in Meridian.

Boy, it sure brings back memories.

When did you ever leave?

Oh, I had big ideas, so one day when I was old enough

I just took off.

Well, I'm glad you did.

I'm glad too.

You know, I never had much of a family, just Aunt Rose.

She raised me and my baby sister.

She's a sweetheart, you'd like her.

Who? Your baby sister?

Well, yeah, and Aunt Rose.

Oh, Beau, Beau, all of a sudden I get so homesick.

Now, wait a minute.

Meridian is not much out of our way.

Honey, we haven't got time.

Now, the more distance I put between us and Pine Bluff

the better off we're gonna be.

Fifteen minutes, just hello and goodbye, that's all.

And we're so close, and, Beau, I just wouldn't forgive myself

if I didn't see my baby sister.

Uh-huh, and while you're saying hello and goodbye

to your baby sister, what am I supposed to be doing

with Aunt Flora?

- Aunt Rose. - Trading favorite recipes?

Oh, Beau, come on, I never asked you for anything before.

And anyway, you won't be sorry.

Honest.

Alright, but just for few minutes.

Oh.

[chuckles]

Oh.

- Cass. - Yeah.

You're something else. Did I ever tell you that?

No.

Well, I'm telling you now.

[exhales]

[chuckles]

[instrumental music]

Let's go in.

Aunt Rose.

- Aunt Rose! - 'Who is it?'

Cass! Cass! Oh, is it really you?

I'm afraid so.

[laughing]

[Rose] 'What a marvelous surprise.'

[Cass] 'I wanted to call you sooner, but I wasn't sure we're gonna'

make until the very last minute.

Let me look at you, child.

Oh, just as pretty as ever.

Oh, Aunt Rose.

Oh, Cass, you're forgetting the manners I taught you.

Aunt Rose, I want you to meet Beau.

Beau Johnson.

Well, Aunt Rose.

Cass has told me so much about you

I feel like I know you already.

How you've raised her and all. I bet she was a handful.

Oh.

Oh, Cass was never any problem.

Her and her sister both just as good as gold.

Where is Mary Ann?

She got herself a nice job waiting table

down at that new barbeque restaurant in town.

But she ought to be home any minute now.

Oh, good.

What line of business you in, Mr. Johnson?

Yeah, I'm a salesman.

Oh, looks like you're doing right well.

Oh, I try to keep off the streets.

Oh, listen to him.

He happens to be the biggest bond salesman

in the whole territory.

I don't know.

- Mary Ann! - Cass.

Yes.

I can't believe it.

What are you doin' here?

- It's so good to see you. - Oh.

Mary Ann, I want you to meet Beau, Beau Johnson.

Well, I see that Cass didn't get

all of the good looks in the family.

Oh, Beau.

[chuckles]

You blushin'?

No, I'm not blushing.

[laughs] He is such a tease.

Oh, come on. I wanna show you

what I did to your bedroom.

- You can come too. - You touched my bedroom?

- Yeah, but it's great. - How dare you?.

Aunt Rose, I want you to know

that's the best dinner I've had in a month of Sundays.

Well, I'm glad you liked it.

Now, if you'll excuse me

I'll get some more coffee and dessert.

- Oh. - Oh.

- I hope you like pecan pie. - Oh.

This happens to be my favorite.

- I'll be just a few minutes. - I'll help you, Aunt Rose.

Do you know what time it is?

You said we'd be here a few minutes.

I feel like I've been here a month already. Let's go.

Oh, Beau, don't get so antsy. We'll leave in a few minutes.

How do you like my baby sister?

Terrific! Now, could we just skip the pecan pie and split?

Now-now, I've had it.

Coffee.

Mary Ann, I just can't get over it. You're just all grown up.

[chuckles] I know.

You got yourself a boyfriend?

Oh, I got me a few.

- Hmm. - Hmm.

[both laughing]

Let's see, there's Jimmy.

He's the usher at the only movie house we have in town.

So naturally I get in free on Friday nights.

[laughs] Oh.

Anyway, we go out afterwards for a hamburger or something.

Oh, yes, then there is Earl. He works for his daddy's farm.

He calls me up every Saturday night

and we go to the stock car races.

Oh, wow.

Do you remember those?

'Do I, oh.'

[laughs] Oh.

Are you happy here?

Why, sure. I'm having me the time of my life.

Really, Mary Ann?

'I mean, I want you to tell me the truth. Are you?'

Oh, phew.

Cass..

...I am so lonely and so bored here. I could die.

Do you know what I mean?

Yeah.

How'd you like to go with us?

You're kidding. Oh, I would.

Beau, we could take her, just as far as Chicago.

May-maybe she could get my old modeling job.

Cass, we have kind of a busy schedule, don't you think?

Well, right, but-but Mary Ann won't hold us up

'and we'll leave right away.'

'Oh, Beau, please.'

No, he doesn't want me to go.

Well, sure he does. Now, Beau is a sweetheart.

Aren't you, Beau?

Alright.

- Oh, oh. - Okay. But..

But look now, we've got to go.

I won't be any trouble, I promise.

Now, you hurry up and pack, honey.

I'll try to fix up with Aunt Rose.

Cass, you're the best. I mean, the best sister in the world.

Um, pack. I won't bring too much stuff, uh, okay.

Thank you, Beau.

[instrumental music]

Hello, Arthur.

'Lewis, we may have had some luck.'

Kate Michaels is a known alias for a Cass Linden.

The identification record matched latents

found on the stolen car with her fingerprint record.

She served time for car theft in Texas

'but she's been out for nearly two years.'

Next of kin listed in her prison record?

Yes, an aunt, Mrs. Rose DeBoise, in Meridian, Tennessee.

Think about how to talk with her.

Alright.

We'll forward Linden's photograph

and identification record to the resident agent there.

'Lewis, Parker is also facing a m*rder charge now.'

The guard he shot in the Dallas bank robbery died this morning.

- Mary Ann, honey. - Huh?

Are you sure this is what you want?

Oh, yes, Aunt Rose.

I mean, I'm really gonna miss you terribly, you know that.

But it's, I mean, it's something I have to do.

Well, I won't stand in your way.

You're a grown up young lady now.

Oh.

I love you.

Ready, Mary Ann?

I think so.

She's been like my own baby all these years.

It's gonna be real lonely here without her.

You'll take good care of her, won't you, Cass?

'Of course I will, Aunt Rose.'

I just want you to know you're both very dear to me.

[dramatic music]

'Don't you worry, Aunt Rose. Everything's gonna be alright.'

[Rose] 'Now, you be sure and write, dear.'

[Cass] 'Oh, I will. I'll write all the time'

'and let you know how things are going.'

- Take good care of Mary Ann. - I will.

Ready.

- Well, let's go. - Okay.

[instrumental music]

Bye, bye.

I'll never see this place again, it's gonna be too soon.

[instrumental music]

Yes.

- Mrs. DeBoise. - Yes.

We're with the FBI.

I'm Inspector Erskine. This is Special Agent Colby.

I'm sorry to disturb you at this hour

but, uh, we'd like to speak to you for a moment.

Oh, well, yes, of course. Come on in.

Thank you.

What's this about, inspector?

Your niece, Cass Linden.

You're looking for Cass?

Do you know where she is?

Well, she left here a couple of hours ago.

But why are you looking for her?

Mrs. DeBoise, I'm afraid she is wanted for armed robbery.

Oh, no.

Cass? Are you sure?

Oh, and I let Mary Ann go off with her.

Oh, I'll never forgive myself.

Now, who's Mary Ann?

Oh, she's Cass' baby sister.

'There's Mary Ann on the left.'

It would be very helpful, Mrs. DeBoise

if we could borrow that picture.

Was there a man with them?

Yes.

'Beau Johnson.'

Is this the man?

Yes.

What kind of car were they driving?

New one, pale blue.

Station Wagon?

Yes...I think so.

Oh, I should never have let Mary Ann go.

My sister died when the girls were just babies

and their father went to work one morning

and he just never came back, and there was no one else

to take care of them.

They're all I have in the world.

Did they mention where they were going?

Oh, now wait.

Yes, I think I did hear them say something about going north.

Thank you very much, Mrs. DeBoise.

I-I just couldn't stand in her way.

Mary Ann is 20, but she's still hardly more than a child.

She-she doesn't know anything about the world.

She lived such a sheltered life here.

We'll return the photograph as soon as possible.

Oh, thank you.

[instrumental music]

- This is unit 7 to control. - 'Go ahead, 7.'

'I have a Tennessee license number 9-1-S-6-2-8.'

Would you run a check on it through the NCIC.

'10-4. Stand by.'

- Good morning. - Good morning.

Uh, are you looking for the people in this car?

Do you know where they are?

Yeah, they just went up the street to the-the grocery store.

Alright, let's go.

[dramatic music]

[tires screeching]

Well, you were a real cool little lady back there.

How about that baby sister of yours, huh, Cass?

You think that trooper will be alright, Beau?

Oh, yes, sure. I just barely tapped him.

I didn't have time to explain. I..

I don't know. I must've bought a hot car, Mary Ann.

'If I had tried to tell that to that trooper'

'and he didn't believe it, I might have ended up'

'in the pokey for something I never did do.'

Is that so?

This car is hot, Beau

'and you just happened to fix the license.'

Isn't that right?

What?

[laughs]

Gotcha.

[laughs]

I don't see what's so funny.

Well, that's rich

and you thought your little baby sister was so innocent.

It's not what it seems.

Oh, come on, Cass.

You don't have to explain to me. I know what's going on.

See, I have some friends in Meridian who told me about

you serving time for car theft.

Of course, nobody told Aunt Rose.

It's not the way it happened at all, I was framed.

Oh, come on, Cass. You don't have to explain to me.

I love you just the way you are.

We can make us a good team.

You and me and...Beau.

[laughs]

We sure are, honeybunch.

Now, how about that, Cass? Don't you feel a little better?

[intense music]

And you positively identified him?

[man on radio] 'Yes, sir, a positive identification.'

That's good.

I wish I could be more help to you, inspector

but I never even saw him.

What about her?

No. She's not the one that set me up either.

Is she in this picture?

Yeah, that's her.

Had a real sweet face.

She's the one that set me up.

You feel sure of that?

I feel positive, but I don't know how it happened.

She's such an innocent kid, you know what I mean?

Well, thanks very much. You know, this helps a lot.

Sure.

One of the waitresses at the diner remembers Parker

asking for directions to Chicago.

Then we better get right out there.

Did the trooper give you anything?

It's the sister that set him up.

She is to be catching on rather quickly.

Hmm.

[instrumental music]

Sweetheart, we have no openings.

Nothing at all.

Business has been pretty bad.

Besides, she's too young.

Now, how old are you, sweetheart?

Well, I'm almost 21, Mr. Dunbar.

Yeah.

[chuckles] Almost.

Oh, come on, Nick, give her a chance.

Cass, I'd like to, you know that.

Sure.

- Let's get out of here, Cass. - Just wait a minute.

Look, it's late and I've go to close up

but why don't you stay?

Do you mean it, Mr. Dunbar?

Maybe we'll have dinner, see a show

and we'll talk about it, hmm?

Ha ha ha.

Oh, Cass, I mean, she's your kid sister.

'I'll look after her.'

Thanks for nothing, Nick.

Come on, Mary Ann.

Well, you know he was old enough to be my father.

What happened?

Never mind, let's just cut out.

That crummy old man wouldn't give me a two bit job.

'Forget it, Mary Ann.'

I've got another idea.

What?

Oh, for Pete's sake, let's just get out of here.

Tell me, honey, what's your idea?

[instrumental music]

[knock on door]

[Mary Ann] 'Mr. Dunbar, it's me, Mary Ann.'

[music continues]

So, you changed your mind, huh?

You knew I would, didn't you?

- What's this? - What did you think?

The furs, old man.

You-you're gonna rob me?

Oh, you wanna talk about it?

Get your hands behind you.

Look, look, ma-maybe I was a bit hasty.

Shut up.

Uh, honey, watch out with that g*n, will you?

You're liable to sh**t me.

Well, I was just getting the hang of it, Beau.

Alright, this is all of them.

Alright.

Now, Cass, you take the car. We'll follow you in the truck.

Hey, where do you think you're going?

I forgot something. Wait for me!

So, you were gonna take me to dinner?

Sure, you were.

Please.

[Beau] 'Mary Ann.'

[intense music]

That's him. That's him, alright.

If he hadn't come back, she would have k*lled me.

Sure as I'm sitting here.

I'd tell you, that little girl was enjoying it.

I could see it in her eyes.

I'll bet the whole thing was her idea.

- By her, you mean, Mary Ann. - Sure.

'If they'd wanted to rob me'

'they would have done it when them came up the first time.'

How long did Cass Linden work for you?

I don't know, maybe a year.

Did she have many friends here?

Not that I know of. She was pretty much of a loner.

Inspector, I've been burned before, but never like this.

Mr. Dunbar, we'll need a complete description

of the furs they took.

Yeah, sure.

But why did she want to k*ll me? I didn't hurt her.

How did her sister get the job here?

Did someone recommend her?

Now, wait a minute.

There was another model, and she told me about Cass.

I-I think they were roommates.

Do you recall her name?

Oh, oh, Honey, Honey Robins.

I didn't even know Cass was back in town.

Besides, she wouldn't call me.

Why not?

Well, we didn't exactly part on the best of terms.

You know, I got her that modeling job.

'I mean, I thought we were pretty good friends'

until I found out she was dating my boyfriend.

So, I tossed her out.

What's his name?

Jay. Harper Jay.

Can you think of anyone else

that might try to get in touch with her?

No.

You know, I can't prove this

but I think she took my watch when she left.

Is that a federal crime?

I'm afraid not. Thank you, Ms. Robins.

By the way, Ms. Robins, if she should contact you

would you please give us a call?

- Sure. - Thank you.

Harper Jay is a known fence here

and he's a suspect in a case

we have under investigation right now.

Where can we find him?

Well, he's got a couple of hangouts.

[intense music]

Well..

Do you like the furs or don't you?

Am I supposed to be impressed

because you copped a couple of coats?

I don't need the kind, just make me an offer.

Do you mind if I have one?

Go ahead.

That's it?

I'm doing you a favor.

You call this a favor?

Because you're a friend of Cass'.

Well, this doesn't cut it. I want more, a lot more.

Alright, alright, alright.

If that's the best you can do.

How come Cass didn't stop to even say hello?

She leaves the business end to me.

How is she?

She's fine.

Yeah, I'll bet.

Tell her I'm glad she called

and tell her not be such a stranger.

Uh, look, wha-what about that truck?

Don't worry about the truck, I'll have it dumped someplace.

You're gonna have anything else for me, kid?

We might.

I don't think you understand, kid.

The name is Beau.

I'm sorry, Beau.

The point I'm trying to make is, you lucked out.

I just happen to have had a buyer for the furs.

If I hadn't, you wouldn't have been able to unload.

So, if you've got anything else lined up, let me know.

There's going to be a jewelry show in town.

'You know the one I mean?'

At the Anderson Hotel?

I'm gonna hit one of the showrooms.

Oh, you can pull that off, huh?

I'm your man.

I can pull it off.

'Hey, kid..'

...don't forget to tell Cass, "I'm glad she remembered."

[intense music]

So, everything's falling into place.

One more job and we're all gonna be rich.

- Hey, want some ice cream? - Sure.

- Cass, you want some ice cream? - No.

You didn't ask me what I wanted.

'Two scoops of vanilla.'

Alright.

[sighs]

You were gonna k*ll him, weren't you?

Who?

You know who. Old man Dunbar.

Oh, him? No, I was, I was just trying to scare him.

That's not what Beau said.

Oh, what's Beau? A mind reader?

Anyway, what if I was?

Baby, you scare me.

Do I?

What are you afraid of, Cass?

Losing Beau?

I don't know you anymore, Mary Ann.

You never did.

Here you go.

To the flavor of the month.

Oh, what did you have?

Pistachio.

Let me have a taste.

Hey, wait a minute.

Didn't you ever have pistachio in Tennessee?

[chuckles]

Well, welcome to the big city.

I want Mary Ann to get out of here.

- What? - She can go back home.

[Beau] 'What's the matter with you anyway?'

I don't want her to turn out like us.

Oh, wow.

Now, what's that supposed to mean?

It means that she still has a chance

that she doesn't have a record.

Well...I don't want her to go back.

She's our good luck piece.

'Yeah, well, our good luck piece nearly k*lled a man.'

You think that this is all that it is, don't you, Mary Ann?

Just eating ice cream and robbing old man?

Well, it's not. It's jail and it's waiting.

It is waiting for the bondsman to post your bail.

It is waiting for a trial.

It's just, it's just waiting your years away.

Yeah, well, there's all kinds of jails, Cass.

You ought to know that.

'You got out of Meridian as fast as your legs would carry you.'

Can't you learn by my mistakes?

Because these last few days with you and Beau

have been the only days in my entire life that I feel alive.

Huh-uh. I'm not going back to Meridian, not ever.

Alright, alright. Don't go back. Just get out of here.

No, not unless Beau tells me to go.

Look, Cass..

...why break up a winning combination, huh?

'Everything's gonna be alright.'

[intense music]

Put those down the end and come back for this lot.

Very nice. How much for the whole lot?

$40,000.

Well, it's dreadful high, don't you think?

[chuckles]

Well, in Paris, they'll bring a fortune.

Well, why quibble over a few dollars? I'll take the lot.

Well, ship them to my warehouse outside Paris.

- Are you the manager? - Yeah.

- We're looking for Harper Jay. - Now, who wants him?

FBI.

[dramatic music]

[instrumental music]

Very good, very good.

Don't forget to give him the business cards.

They want to know what room to go to later, alright?

So, get to work.

I'm taking an awful chance.

Look, buddy, don't fade on me. We made a deal.

They have to find out those girls came from my model agency.

So what?

Now, you didn't know they're gonna rob the place.

The point is, you can't lose.

Have you got the money?

Yes.

- Alright. - Okay.

Now, don't you worry about a thing

you just go on in there and enjoy yourself.

Beau.

What are you doing here? Where's Mary Ann?

Mary Ann's waiting out in front.

Beau, I have to talk to you. I had to talk to you alone.

We can talk later. Now, it's all set.

Get Mary Ann and start to work.

No, now, Beau, we've got to talk now.

What do you want?

For us to get out of here before it's too late.

We've got plenty of time, and we've got plenty of money.

Look, I will give Mary Ann half of my share

and she can go off and do what she wants

and then you and I can go off together, just like we used to--

We're this close!

[speaks softly] I'm this close to some real money, I could be set.

Now, you and Mary Anne settle all that later.

No, Beau, I love you, and she's come between us.

Cass, I'm warning you, go to work or get out.

[chuckles]

You know, Mary Ann would be happy to do this alone.

We're from the Tally agency, Allie Maiden and Mavis Till.

Okay, girls.

- Hello. - Hi.

Oh, uh, sorry we're late.

Don't worry, the man from the jewelry company

isn't here yet.

First time you girls do this kind of job?

I don't remember seeing you around.

Yeah.

These are the gowns.

Hey, I think I'm gonna like this.

Oh, it's not so bad, specially the jewelry.

And the guards keep the bars away from you

and after the show you can come and go as you please.

'Anyway, it sure beats waiting tables in Muntsy.'

Oh, is that where you're from?

Mm-hmm. Say, could you zip me up in back?

Sure.

- Excuse me. - Mm-hmm.

It's beautiful, beautiful.

What is you name, my dear?

Mavis.

Well, Mavis, did you ever think

you'd be wearing diamonds like that?

No, but I'm about to.

Don't make a sound. You too.

Tie 'em up, honey.

Get down on your knees.

You too, get down on your knees

and put your hands behind your back.

[intense music]

Nice.

[indistinct chatter]

[music continues]

Ready, girls?

This is g*n on your back

now just move on and you won't get hurt.

Get down.

Alright, he's next.

Um, Beau, would you get the rest of the stuff?

I gotta get dressed.

Right.

Before you say anything, I want to advise you

you have the right to remain silent.

Anything you say can be used against you.

And you have the right to an attorney if you wish.

I know.

Who sold you the furs?

What furs?

Is that the way you're gonna play it?

That's it.

Do you see him here?

[Erskine] 'Was he the man?'

If he was, now is the time to say so.

I don't know, I'm not sure.

Was he?

Yeah. That's him, alright.

The girl, Cass Linden, I used to go with her.

She put me in touch with that guy. He had the goods.

Where is he now?

They're gonna pull another job I think.

[Erskine] 'Where?'

Here, in town, at the Anderson hotel.

'I think they're gonna knock off a jeweler at the show there.'

When?

I don't know, I think now.

- I'll call the police. - I'll be out front.

This is Inspector Erskine, FBI

uh, get me police headquarters, please.

[instrumental music]

That was easy. So easy.

There must be a quarter of a million in stones in that case.

What you doing?

I'm just keeping in the family, Cass.

But you're crazy, he'll try to k*ll you.

No, he won't. Now on, it's just you and I.

[intense music]

[tires screeching]

[tires screeching]

[tires screeching]

[music continues]

Down this way.

Cass?

Now, I don't wanna hurt anybody.

I just want them stones.

Alright, Beau.

Here they are.

[music continues]

[intense music]

[music continues]

[music continues]

Parker, FBI.

[screams]

[Erskine] 'Stay right where you are.'

[sobbing]

[instrumental music]

[gasps] It's been awful, a nightmare.

I cannot thank you.

You'll think of something.
