He got totally wasted?

Ruyi.

Where am I?

Confess if you don't want to die.

Did you k*ll Commander Wang?

Did you k*ll him or not?

You work for the lord?

Confess if you don't...

You don't work for the lord.

We're arch-enemies.

It doesn't matter if I k*ll Commander Wang.

He just wants me dead.

Boss, this kid doesn't play along.

He is not showing you any respect.

I suggest we cut off his limbs first.

I am giving you one last chance.

I'd rather be k*lled than insulted.

k*ll me if you want.

I'll finish you off now.

Not the sack.

Stop it.

Feels good, huh? Again.

Come on.

Stop, you audacious bandits.

Get lost.

Stop!

Young Master Chu, you've suffered.

Fortunately, we arrived in time.

Ruyi.

You've changed.

What are you talking about?

Why don't I understand?

It could have been horrible

if we hadn't arrived in time.

You guys are so sweet.

Your Highness, you're so sweet.

I was almost beaten to death.

Otherwise, I'd be grateful.

What are you babbling?

I don't get it.

If I'm not mistaken,

you must be wearing the perfume I gave you.

I can smell it from far away.

You must have been
lurking around to protect me.

Right?

Yeah.

This is yours, huh?

I've been working diligently for our cause

only to receive beatings.

I am so disappointed.

I'm sorry, Young Master Chu.

Her Highness commanded me
to teach you a lesson.

I meant to teach him a lesson verbally.

But she took action on her own.

Yeah, it's all my fault.

Blame me if you want.

I didn't understand
Her Highness's care for you.

I...

Your Highness, actually...

Why are you hesitant?

Strip and get in the water.

The medicinal herbs in there
can heal your wounds.

Just say that you want to see my body.

Why go to such lengths?

Fine, I'll strip.

Why are you hesitant?

Pants off.

No, this is my last shred of dignity.

Pants off.

It's quite cozy, Your Highness.

Why don't you join me?

I mean, it seems like a waste
to enjoy this on my own.

Indeed, it's a bit of a waste.

Don't you have some special hobbies?

I shall indulge you.

Enjoy.

Your Highness.

Xiaoxiao.

Wake up. You're missing out on the fun.

It's your favorite.

Xiaoxiao.

Wake up.

Come on.

Will you wake up?

I've given you a chance.

Come and see.

Fine.

One last time. Will you wake up?

[Mansion of Lord Zhennan]

Commander Wang died
and Her Highness has placed

many of her people
among the Imperial Guards.

Things are not in our favor.

I have long had a plan.

Seek external assistance
to quell the internal strife.

The external assistance means...?

State of Wu.

Aren't the Wu people

too ambitious to work with?

I have already made them a promise.

As long as they help me
ascend to the throne,

I will cede three border cities to them.

I'm afraid this is not appropriate.

Why do you even care?

Once I reign over the nation,

won't I take over
the State of Wu in no time?

My lord, what's wrong?

My lord.

Guards!

My lord, are you all right?

[What happened?]

[Why does it feel so oppressive?]

[Qu Xiaoxiao.]

[The mysterious task I told you about earlier]

[has been initiated.]

What task?

Xiaoxiao.

Xiaoxiao.

Xiaoxiao.

Xiaoxiao.

Xiaoxiao, where are you?

[Xiaoxiao, where did you go?]

[You didn't just leave, right?]

[Without you here,]

[I can't even stay with Her Highness alone.]

What's wrong? You seem lost.

It's nothing.

What can I do for you?

Let's take a bath.

Rain check.

Let's get warmed up.

The martial arts meeting is coming up.

We must discuss the details.

Does it have to be today?

What's wrong? Why are you so hesitant?

You're tired of this place?

Let's go to my mansion.

Okay.

Where is Chu Xiaoran?

Young Master Chu?

He's been at the duke's mansion for days
and hasn't come back.

Forget it. I should get rid of someone

I can't control.

Understood. I will have him k*lled now.

Come back.

What's going on with you?

Are you influenced by Chu Xiaoran?

No.

I just feel that he will slow you down
when you draw your sword

and affect your major decisions.

Are you telling me what to do?

I dare not.

Go, bring him back.

Tell him I have important matters
to discuss with him.

Important matters.

Like what?

Understood.
