He went to High School in Nieuwegein
but he didn't finished it.

He ended up quitting school early.

He was member of a youth g*ng
called Bad boys.

A group of young people from the
Utrecht region who mainly hang out at

burglaries, later large-scale
smuggling, weapons...

actually up to in the 80s

and in the early nineties Ridouan Taghi
became a teen

from the High School with neat little
guy ambitions who wanted to climb

he was first a small player in

stature and he was still young

but Taghi had a trump on his hands

his family was already deeply
involved on hashish smuggling

They had a route from Morocco to Europe

and that became useful for Taghi

and he was active

his grandfather on his days.

of course much more lucrative
than hashish.

So he was basically about those
old routes, he used to load

In Morocco via Spain to Netherlands
and then in no time he got really rich

So he rose very quickly in the hierarchy.

he could pay very well for the

people who worked for and Bad Boys,
that youth from Bad Boys

later became the core of the
organization of Ridouan Taghi

got in touch with Ridouan Taghi

we use to play games with each other
there and also Ridouan Taghi

I knew he was into
hashish from Morocco via

Spain to the Netherlands
and other countries

They both come from Arabic background

and get along well together

Ridouan was a nice cheerful boy

but if he had been drinking
then he could become unpredictable

Business is quickly conducted
in the tea house.

Taghi asks Nabil for help
with a large drug transport.

Ridouan was able to arrange clients
in Madrid who wanted Speed

organization of Ridouan Taghi

deals with large drug shipments,

they would watch Ronald Bakker
from this side of the water channel

and what did those spotters actually
did was to came here every days.

They quietly park their car
here in the neighbourhood.

then they took lot of fishing
stuff out of the trunk

and then they walked that way

the spotters use to stay

the Spy shop and that helps to map out
exactly the life of Ronald Bakker.

Who he received here,
what time he was going home,

the car he was driving...
That was quite a difficult job.

the spotters used binoculars
and from this distance

they could look right
into the building

they also followed the wrong person
for a while, but eventually

a second spotter came along
who actually knew

how Ronald Bakker look like

this is how they actually
got back on track

and also get ready for the
day of the assassination.

That day they noticed

that Ronald Bakker at
some point left the shop.

so they quickly took all their
fishing and spying stuff

crossed that street.

and quickly go back to the
car, that white Citroën C4

and at that moment Ronald Bakker
came by here

and drove off the industrial zone
they was watching him from there

as he advanced to his home in Huizen

actually before he drove into
his neighbourhood in Huizen

a hit man on motorbike
was waiting for him ,

the spotters laid back and hit man

advances, while Ronald
seats in his car unaware

the hit man approach the driver
window and shot him to dead.

Although the m*rder of
Ronald Bakker at first glance

seemed to be done
quite professionally

the spotters made some crucial mistakes

Actually two mistakes, the white Citroen C4

was rented under the name of one of
the spotters, and the rental company

had all cars equipped with trackers
connected to the company's computers

So the police was able
to track all their moves

which routes these car had followed,

that the car had been in
Ronald's neighbourhood

The times they was
watching him at work here.

Another mistake they made was
that there is no fish here

it all went really clumsily and
the lack of caution was such

that the employees of the Spy shop

even got suspicious at one point

so they photographed the spotters
from the Spy shop and those

photos were essential for the
investigation, cause with the photos

and the data from the rental car
tracker, it was finally possible

to arrest these spotters
and some other people.

the murderers of Ronald Bakker
received the ridiculous sentence

of 13 and 15 years in prison

and Taghi was suspected
of ordering the crime

Ronald Bakker's Spy shop
use to supply equipment

To Taghi's organization
assassination squads.

The use use to sell them PGP mobile phones

that could communicated in a veiled way.

And other eavesdropping devices.

Ridouan Taghi was not satisfied
with the quality of that equipment,

but more importantly, is
that before Ronald's death

detectives visited his Spy shop
and asked questions

and Ronald Bakker and his staff
provided information

that would put the
police on the trail of

Taghi's assassination squads

wasn't unknown to justice

It was a Surinamese called Gerel
Palm and the m*rder of Ronald Bakker

wasn't the only one he was inolved

talk about Gerel Palm

Palm was already on the
wanted criminals list,

because he was allegedly involved
in a double m*rder attempt

In December 2016
at Noordeloos

because of a drugs conflict two men
were left seriously injured in a meadow

one of the most fascinating suspects
on the Marengo Case is Gerel Palm

He is an half Antillean half
Surinamese man, and actually

you hear lots of stories

and there is the rumour that
he was actually

and walked out of jail.

Palm seems to have played
an important role in this

organization partly because of
he is suspected of being involved

he mentioned the name of Ridouan Taghi.

What Martin Kok apparently didn't know,
Is that Ridouan Taghi

within his organization had stabilized

that anyone who would mention his name

would go to sleep, would be liquidated.

But Martin Kok didn't gave sh*t about it
and he kept posting photos of

Ridouan Taghi, co-suspects on
Marengo Case or accomplices

of Ridouan Taghi and that
placed Martin on a death list

Martin Kok also spoke a lot
about Taghi on his site

It is also not very smart of
Martin that he spoke about

threw a photo on the site

He did some dangerous things

in 2016 Martin Kok narrowly escapes death

when after a night out he sees
something suspicious on his car.

because I don't know if
it is symbolic or not

but all the trees near it are dead

and finally on this very spot.

Martin Kok live came to an end

and key witness Nabil B is
also involved in this m*rder

On the day of the m*rder, I was requested
to urgently check a license plate

that request came from
Taghi through Razzouki

I've done that before for the organization

check who was the owner of the vehicle

the car turns out to be
from Martin Kok's father

So Nabil forwards the data via PGP
telephone to Saïd Razzouki

who gives the information to the sh**ter

So the police actually managed
to do a reconstruction

there were one or two hit man

they were early on the site so
they put some bushes here

and wait for him to come
out, and at the moment he

sat in his car, a hit man came
out of the bushes and opens fire

Martin died immediately and his
partner had a strange behaviour

surveillance footage.

As he and the hit man quietly
walk out of the parking lot,

it was strange and also the
police found it very strange

and Martin stay here lifeless
In the sit of his car.

The m*rder wasn't immediately
noticed at that time.

Inside, no one has actually
heard the sh**ting

until the doorman of the club actually
thought this car was strange

as he came out to check

He saw the shattered windows
and then finally saw

Martin sitting lifeless behind the wheel.

The man who was with
Martin was later arrested

on suspicion of
involvement on the m*rder

I saw on the news that Martin
Kok had been k*lled

I read he was driving his father's car

I immediately had a deja vu

Nabil is assigned to provide a

and take those pictures of the target.

Taghi in turn would send this to the
heads, the hitters, to avoid mistakes

So Taghi wanted to prevent
mistakes on this m*rder

but unfortunately the wrong
person was shot anyway

the victim was Hakim Changachi

- I came down and I saw him lying
there, shot in the head

- And then it turns out
that it's here with us

in the flat that happened!

the Police found an Audi on fire

It was Around 1 o'clock on the
night of Wednesday 11

to Thursday 12 January at the
Pauw Steef in Utrecht Overvecht

at Faust Avenue, the perpetrators
then probably went to

A5 fled via Moezel Avenue and
drive to Pallas Athene Avenue

where the car was set on fire

They were talking about the
car that Nabil delivered

He is terrified and immediately
contact Said Razzouki.

Nabil: I'm very stressed because they used
that car in Hakim's m*rder

Said: What are you talking about?

That car I delivered to you, which was
used in Overvecht, it has been recognized

So Nabil unintentionally participated
in the m*rder of Hakim Changachi

the whole history of that m*rder club

of Ridouan Taghi in the Marengo

of Changachi's family.
