SHARON: For the entire four

weeks that Maria and I had

been at Camp Kookalah, I’ve

received only two letters from

Alden.

When he did bother to write,

his letters weren’t exactly

poetic.

"So that’s about it.

Write back I guess.

From, Alden."

So?

So, how would you feel if

your boyfriend was ending his

letters with "From, Alden"?

That would be pretty weird

because then we’d both have the

same boyfriend.

Ha ha.

"Promise to write every day."

(Laughing)

And you believed him?

As if any guy would actually do

that.

(Laughing)

He was caught smoking.

So I guess his bad habit is my

I got to bump into two pretty

Where, what pretty girls?

I mean, right.

You did.

Well, the meeting’s in here.

Aren’t you coming?

Maria’s not a CIT yet.

But I will be next year.

Come on, we’d better go.

See you later, then.

To round up, Saturday is the

And finally, I’d like to

He’ll be with us for the rest of

the summer, let’s make him feel

welcome.

MARIA: So what’s the new guy

like?

SHARON: Jason?

I don’t know.

I’ve hardly spoken to him.

Oh, no.

But, you know, I’ve been

SHARON: I knew Maria liked

Jason and it was obvious why.

He was gorgeous, totally self

confident, and fun.

boyfriend already, I’d be into

him too.

Okay, maybe I was already into

him a little bit.

I didn’t get it.

How could I even notice Jason

when I liked Alden so much.
