[fizzles, zaps]

[snarls]

[thunder rumbles]

[epic theme playing]

[zaps, snarls]

[humming]

-Ah... Huh?

Thaaat's weird.

[mysterious music playing]

[gasps] Hey, what gives?!

This isn't funny.

- [grumbling]
- Ah!

[squawks]

Hey! Come back!

My groceries!

[Pete whines]

[groaning]

[grunting]

[dragon grumbling]

TOM: Buzzsaw's gotten really
good at snatching up dragons

and disappearing
into the Hidden World.

But he's gonna
slip up eventually,

and then we'll grab
the dragon book.

-Or he'll just continue
to outsmart you

every step of the way.

-Not helpful, Eugene.

- [Pete whines]
- Uh, guys?

- [Pete grunting]
- What's goin' on over there?

-Oh boy.

- TOM: Hey, hey, hey!
- [Pete groans]

- Calm down!
- Plow, Plow, Plow! Easy, girl!

ALEX: Feathers... Enough.

-Aw! Webs just wants to play.
Let ‘em all get the wiggles out.

-They got into
the general store.

You should really
keep a leash on them.

[sighs] Looks like mashed
Cheesy Loops for dinner.

-What happened?

I thought you were gonna keep an
eye on them until we got back.

- [grumbles]
- It's okay. It's okay.

We shouldn't have left
you guys alone for that long.

But you have to assert yourself,
pal.

[growls]

[roars]

[dragons screeching]

[chuckling] Keep workin' on it.

-Uh, guys? Buzzsaw might've
just come out of hiding.

Sensors are going off
in the Nature Realm.

-It's gotta be him.

-Riders! Mount up!

Time to get
the dragon book back.

-Right behind you!
Plowhorn is a mess.

[slurps] Mm.

[intense music playing]

[beeping]

-Those sensors
didn't set themselves off.

He's around here somewhere.

-I love how sure you are,
Tommy, even when you're wrong.

What? That was
a back-handed compliment!

[Plowhorn sniffing]

- Smell anything, Plow?
- [Plowhorn grumbles]

Guys, she's got something.

-Wait... listen.

[soft whirring]

[quizzical growl]

[whirring continues]

-Ugh, fine. You were right.
Get over yourself.

-Is he building more traps?

-Or perhaps
he's building lethal weapons

and we're walking to our doom.

- Okay, Buzzsaw. [gasps]
- [drill whirring]

Dr. Sledkin?!

-Ha! I was right!
It wasn't Buzzsaw!

ALEX: And Linda?

-Oh, uh, yeah.
I kinda work for her now.

Bennies aren't great,
but it beats unemployment.

-Did you really think
I wouldn't return

to claim what belongs to me?

-Nothing here belongs to you,
Sledkin.

-Oh, I beg to differ.

I discovered the unique
properties of Dragonsite.

That makes it mine.

-That's not true.
My mother discovered that.

-In conjunction with me.

Then she abandoned
the research to play zookeeper

while Icarried it over
the finish line.

I won't let Dragonsite's value
go to waste.

-We'll see about that.

-Please. You have no claim
to anything down here.

Now beat it.
I have important work to do.

-No way...
You're comin' with us.

-I knew something like this
might happen.

That's why I brought
along an insurance policy

to guarantee that my operation
would not be deterred.

-What is she talking about?

-Dr. Sledkin, please,
put down the expl*sives.

-Gladly.

[beeping]

- [D'Angelo gasps]
- Oh, I hate this part.

-Everyone! Take cover!

[group yelling]

[coughs] Is everybody okay?

[dragons grumbling]

-[coughs] We're fine... I think.

-It's okay, girl.

-Well, my organs
have all switched places,

but other than that,
I'm perfect.

-Where did they go?

Whoa.
Th-This wasn't there before.

-The blast must have opened it.

- C'mon.
- Right behind you.

-Thanks.

-Ahh, to be young and in love.

-C'mon, Gonzo. Don't make me
ralph on the mission.

-What is this place?

-My maps are spinning.
We're totally off the grid.

-Something about this
place feels familiar.

-Dark... Twisted... I like it.

-Yeah, I'd love to explore, too,

but we need to find
Sledkin and Linda

before they get too far away.

-These things are
all over the place.

What are they made of?
Another form of Dragonsite?

- Or crystal?
- [clinks]

-I think they're... glass?

-So glad you shard
that information. [pops tongue]

- That was a glass joke.
- We know.

- You're transparent.
- [Alex, Jun giggling]

- ALEX: Good one.
- C'mon, guys. Stay focused.

[distant roaring]

-[gasps] We should probably
focus on whatever that was.

[distant yell]

[yelling]

-Check it out!
They're giving themselves up.

Huh, guess my menacing stare
earlier worked.

- [yells]
- Eh?

-I don't think
they're surrendering.

- Something's out there!
- Something big!

-We have to leave. Now.

-Sorry, Sledkin.
We're not fallin' for that one.

- [distant roaring]
- [all whimpering]

♪ ♪

- Is that a dragon?
- It's...

-Ugly! That's what it is!

-Great idea, Eugene.

Let's offend it
and see what happens.

- I think it's time to bug out!
- Run!

- [roars]
- [all yelling]

[all grunting, groaning]

♪ ♪

[roaring]

[roars]

Get your beast to blast
that thing, would you?!

Then we might survive!

♪ ♪

[roaring]

-Not only is it big,
but it's also really fast!

- And ugly. Don't forget ugly.
- [Jun yells]

-Thunder! Over here!

♪ ♪

Thunder!
Keep the dragons together!

[roars]

[glass warbling]

-What's it doing?

-Its roar is vibrating
those glass structures.

-Feathers! Look out!

[roars]

[Alex yells]

[all yell]

[roars]

♪ ♪

-Giant,
angry dragon coming this way!

- We need to find cover!
- Tom, this place is a desert!

-Over there! We can make it!

-She's right. Keep running!

[grunting, yelling]

-Sounds good to me!

-I think it's using
the glass spires

like my sensors.

-Of course. The echolocation
acts as an early-warning system

if a predator
enters its territory.

-Or prey like us.

-Thunder will rally the dragons.
We have to save ourselves!

-Ah! My pack!

-Leave it, you fool!

♪ ♪

-It's a dead end!

-Wonderful!
Great hiding place, Doc!

[all yell]

[screaming]

♪ ♪

-Yeah! Go, Thunder!

-Where are the rest
of the dragons?

- [zaps]
- [roars]

-Thunder!

- He's hurt!
- Get ahold of yourself.

He's a wild animal. He's fine.

[roars]

- Tom!
- Huh?

[yelling]

[roars]

[snarls]

Glass?
It turned the sand to glass?

-Of course.
Heat plus sand equals glass.

-Whoa, what an amazing dragon.

-Can we admire its
artistic abilities another time?

-Don't worry, everyone.

Thunder's heading back
to wrangle the dragons

and get us out of here.

-You mean like earlier
at the General Store

when Thunder couldn't handle
any of them?

We should all take this time
to update our wills. Seriously.

-Trust me... Thunder can do it.

♪ ♪

[glass warbling]

[distant growling]

[roars]

-You really think they're
gonna be all right, Tom?

- Out there without us?
- [exhales] I hope so.

[Dr. Sledkin laughs]

What's so funny?

-Sweet, I suppose,
but foolish nonetheless.

They're just animals.
They don't care about you.

-They're not just animals.
They're smart, emotional, and...

-You think they will save you?
Look, they've run off.

It's self-preservation.
Survival of the fittest.

The first law
of the animal kingdom.

You could all stand
to learn a little from them.

That's why
I am not going to bank

my survival on waiting around

for a bunch of scared
lizards to rescue me.

You would be best served in
joining me to figure a way out.

-Why should we believe you
after all you've done?

-Yeah, you're not
exactly a pillar of trust.

-That wasn't an invitation
to spew your juvenile judgment.

- Linda.
- [snaps]

-[whispers] For the record,

I think your dragons
are kinda cool, sometimes.

DR. SLEDKIN: Linda!

-I don't know about you guys,

but I want nothing
to do with those two.

[distant growling]

[sorrowful music playing]

[powerful music playing]

[music swells]

[grunting]

- [Eugene yells, groans]
- Hm.

-Look at those idiots.

There must be another way
out of here.

[grunting]

[Eugene yells, whimpers]

-I think that was closer
this time.

-I don't think my head
can take getting any closer.

-Watch it, guys. We don't wanna
call the Glass Caster.

I think I know a way
we can get out of here. Look.

JUN: Linda's pack!

-News flash, Tommy.

That's out there
and we're in here.

-Well, we build a human ladder.

Alex climbs up and over,
throws us the rope,

then we climb to freedom,
and meet up with our dragons.

-But the wall is too high
for the five of us.

-Not five. Seven.

D'ANGELO [on recording]:
Are you crazy?!

-Do we need to remind you
of everything she's done to us

- and our dragons?!
- Okay, fine. I get it.

But she did find us safe cover
from the Glass Caster.

-Oh, yeah.
And that's worked out great.

-Don't forget the expl*sives!

-She does have a history
of trying to blow us up.

-I know, I know. But this time,
it was just a distraction.

Okay, probably. But, but, look,
if it wasn't for that,

we never would've found
this new realm.

-Again, that's worked out great,
by the way.

-What choice do we have?
We need them.

-For the record,
I don't trust her.

But I trust you.

- Bleh!
- Look... Tom's right.

What choice do we have?
Our dragons might need us.

-Dr. Sledkin! We need your help.

-Of course, you do.

[intense music playing]

[Glass Caster roars]

-[grunts] Tom.

-Just keep your balance.
This is going to work.

-Will it work, maybe?
But does it look cool? No.

JUN: Don't worry, Eugene,
nobody can see you.

-[grunts] I can see you.
Oh, I can definitely see you!

- Dr. Sledkin!
- Quiet, Linda.

Survival requires
extreme measures.

Now let her use your face
as a foothold.

[grunts]

-Okay.

- [grunts] Hey!
- Sorry.

"Accident."

♪ ♪

-Okay, Alex, now up and over.

[grunting]

- Mission accomplished.
- [alarm sounds]

- Ah!
- TOM: What is that?!

-It's a reminder
to take my vitamins!

- Shut it off!
- [all shouting]

- I'm trying!
- [alarm stops]

[sigh of relief]

[glass warbling]

Uhh. That's not good.

[roars]

♪ ♪

-Okay, everyone, let's go!

-Good work.
Linda and I will go first,

then pull you up.

-No. The Riders should go first.

Then you and Linda.

We can deal with the dragon
if it returns.

-We're adults. If we go first...

-Is Linda gonna take
on the dragon?

[Dr. Sledkin sighs]

[Eugene grunting]

-Uh, Dr. Sledkin, should we, um,

you know,
have let them go first?

- How can we trust...
- Oh, little Linda.

Tom would never leave us behind.
He's one of those heroic types.

A do-gooder like his mother.

Okay. After we climb out

and they busy themselves
with the dragons,

we will make our escape.

See how that works?
It's called thinking ahead.

Huh?

-Sorry, Dr. Sledkin.
But you can't be trusted.

Once we get our dragons,
we'll be back for you.

And then I'm taking you
to Rakke Town Security myself.

-So,
not like your mother after all.

-Dr. Sledkin? They left us!

Did you think ahead
for this part?!

-Ugh! Put a cork in it, Linda.

[glass warbling]

-That Glass Caster
is on its way.

-Is it too late
to go back in the cave?

-Not for you.

- Do we have a plan, Tom?
- [distant roars]

-This.

-This? This is nothing.

Anyone can come up
with a nothing plan.

[roars]

[Alex gasps]

[triumphant music]

- What was that, Eugene?
- Okay, fine.

That was a pretty cool entrance.

[roars]

-I knew you'd bring them
together, pal!

♪ ♪

[glass warbling]

Now blast those
glass formations.

We need to throw the Caster
off our trail.

[roars]

[zaps]

♪ ♪

[roars]

[growls]

-It's confusing him!

-He won't stay like that
forever!

-Thunder!

Light it up, pal!

[zapping]

♪ ♪

[roars]

[all cheering]

-Yeah!

-Now that we've got
one problem behind glass,

we need to get our
other problem out.

A clean cut.

-How?

-Dragonsite.

It's harder than a diamond,
remember?

- Which means...
- It can cut through glass.

-Wow. Duped again.

I can't believe
you just let her get away.

Oh, wait, yes, I can.
This is classic Kullersen.

- [laughs] I mean, really did...
- [roars]

Webs, you just gonna
let him treat me like that?

[wimpy roar]

Pfft. Typical.

[exhales]

-Are you sure about this, Jun?
It seems kinda far-fetched.

-More far-fetched than an entire
world of dragons under our feet?

-Point taken.

-Trust me, Kullersen.

I know I've seen that place
somewhere before.

-Uh... Jun?

-Yes! I knew it!

"Svartalfheim"
from Norse Mythology.

It was said to be a strange land
of wealth and riches,

inhabited by large, nasty trolls

who forged weapons
in the fire and smoke.

-Or a large, nasty, troll-like
dragon that forges glass.

-Do you know what this means?

Whoever started the Norse myth
about the Nine Realms

was talking about
the worlds of dragons.

-Nine Realms? Fire. Ice. Giant!

-Today's realm makes seven,
which means...

-There are still two more left.
