a crystal axolotl before.

I knew we'd see crystals here,

but I didn't know
there were crystal axolotls!

Axyl loves it when he gets to see

[Akiko] We like to call that
the Crystal Conch.

That's the biggest
conch shell I've ever seen.

C'mon, let's go inside.

-Wow.
-Whoa.

[Flounder laughing]

This is where Axyl and I like to hang out.

Axyl, are you here, mate?

Did you collect all these things?

Yep, we like to keep all the
treasures we find in here.

It's the best way to remember
all of our adventures.

Hey, Akiko likes to collect treasures
just like you, Ariel.

We have a place just like this back in
our world called the Crystal Cavern.

We keep all of our land treasures there.

We have land treasures like dinglehoppers,
flappadiddles, and whifflepoofs.

But first, we've still got to find Axyl.

It doesn't look like he's in here.

[Akiko] He's gotta be
around here somewhere.

This is a Crystal Garden.

With crystal plants?

Finteresting.

Axyl loves to hide and play in the plants.

Maybe he's in here.

Ooh.

[giggling]

-[crystal chimes]

Ooh.

Hey, everyone, look at this.

A lot of the crystals here do
different things when you touch them.

So magical.

Axyl loves crystal magic.

If he was in the garden,
he would have popped up to see it.

Which means he's not in here.

I see something moving. Over there!

[gasps] Is it Axyl?

Only one way to find out.

Axyl?

[Akiko] Is that you, mate?

-A crystal dogfish.

This crystal dogfish is sniffing around,

just like the dogfish in our world.

The dogfish we know all have
a very good sense of smell.

I wonder if crystal dogfish
have good noses too.

If the dogfish knows
what Axyl smells like,

maybe she can find him with her nose.

Axyl plays with this ball all the time.

Hey, little dogfish.

Can you use your nose to find this smell?

[barks, sniffs]

I think she's saying
we should go that way!

Lead the way, sparkly puppy!

-[barks]

Whoa, she sure is going fast!

I think this is gonna work.

[dogfish sniffing]

[Akiko] I hope we're almost there.

I can't wait to see my friend.

[sniffing stops]

Is this where we'll find Axyl?

Wait a minute.

I know that glow.

[gasps] That's the doorway back home.

That glow leads back
to the Crystal Cavern!

So, we're right back where we started?

But we already looked here.
We didn't find Axyl anywhere.

I was sure we'd find him by now.

[gasps]

I wasn't too worried before.

Like I said, Axyl's very curious
and loves to go exploring.

I can always find him.

But today, I don't know
where else to look.

Hmm. [gasps]

[sighs]

Hmm.

[gasps] Jumping jellyfish, that's it!

Akiko, you said
that Axyl is really curious

and that he likes to explore, right?

I know of one place that's fun to explore,

and it's a place that Axyl
definitely hasn't seen before.

[Axyl chirps]

-[chirping]

[chirps, exclaims]

That's a dinglehopper.

It's one of the land treasures
we were telling you about.

I found your curious
little buddy exploring

all of our human stuff
from the Crystal Cavern.

He clearly liked that one.

-[chirps]
