it's something that I want to be doing.

-Yeah, of course.

-I came up with a list of questions.

So my first question is

why do you wanna do this metaverse?

My passion is always about freedom

defined through fashion and technology.

Metaverse, it can be anyone from anywhere

with nothing and they can still create.

Giving them the key

to the doorway to insane possibility.

I just want to know all my options.

So one option for me is to join

the company as a cofounder, as a CTO.

What are other options for me to join?

[Julia] That's a great question.

I could hire a CTO.

And you could work for the CTO

just as an employee.

That is a way where you can have both.

I want you to have fun,

to have a youth, to have a childhood.

That is a very legitimate thing

for a twenty-something to want.

The only problem I would say to you is,

Your fight is my fight.

And the only way to get your job back,

Robert, is for me to win this case.

[Julia] What Robert has to realize is,

him losing his job is all related

to what's going on here.

If my ownership is reestablished,

his being fired becomes null and void.

Helping me helps him. Robert knows that.

He just doesn't wanna be bothered.

He wants to stay out

-There were no feelings of the past?

-No. It was just like I'm seeing an

-Even on his side?

I don't think so. He seemed really good.

He seemed like he's out there.

He's doing stuff.

-Good.

-It's awesome.

-[Maeghan] I love that for you.

-Yeah.

So that's how a healthy relationship ends?

[Maeghan]

Me taking notes! Me taking notes!

[Audrey] Interesting!

I know just from like seeing

what my mom is experiencing now

that I'm very lucky. That it's not

the norm to be able to, like,

end a marriage,

end a relationship and, like, be good.

[Audrey] Mm-hmm.

I have grown so much

over the past few months

from walking into the door

of my apartment,

really sad about Ben,

and never living alone in my life

to now paying my bills and just

feeling good and secure and I'm proud

of myself for how far I've come.

[Mikki] So how is your mom doing?

-I think it's, like, very intense for her.

-Is she dating yet?

-No.

-No?

-No yet.

-She's not ready?

-I'm pushing a matchmaker.

-She's like, "Should I go on Tinder?"

-No.

-[Maeghan] She needs a hot girl summer.

-Yeah!

-Your mom needs a hot girl summer.

-Yeah!

-I should tell her that.

A hundred percent! Like, she needs

a h* phase. She needs what you had.

-God wants me to be a h*.

-[Maeghan] He has a plan!

-[Batsheva] Cheers!

-[Audrey] Cheers!

-[Maeghan] Cheers to your success!

-[Kenny] Cheers!

[upbeat music playing]

Hello?

Julia?

Hey, Rob, I'm in here.

[Robert] You in bed?

So tired of all this. I did not manage

to sleep at all last night.

-Really?

-I'm literally surviving on actual fumes.

[Robert]

Julia, I know she's fighting for everyone

and her win is a win for me too.

I do also have to tell her that I'm sorry.

What's going on?

Well, I wanted to come over and maybe

talk through our little tiff-arooni.

Mm-hmm.

[sighs] I just I thought about

our conversation.

And I guess what

I wanted to tell you was that

if I was in your position,

I would want someone,

you know, reaching out

to me constantly and all that.

If there's a situation again

where you think,

I'm not giving you enough,

you tell me and we can talk about it.

Thank you. It means a lot to me, really.

It's all I'm asking for.

I'm not asking for you to go against

your nature. I'm asking you to be there.

-Yeah.

-I'll be the warrior for everybody.

That's my job. I accept that role.

But hold the warrior's f*cking hand,

because we need some hand-holding.

-I am sorry for not being more proactive.

-Thank you.

-You need support.

-I appreciate it.

-I understand that.

-I do.

You know, this is the worst thing

I've ever gone through.

In a way it's

even harder than when I left,

because it's so much more public.

Yeah. And there's so much more pressure.

It's good that we fought.

-I mean, friends fight.

-Yeah, it happens.

It's a good reset.

-Yeah.

-You know.

We all make mistakes. I make mistakes.

And I'm really proud of Robert

for being man enough

to stand up and say I'm sorry.

-Love you, babe.

-I love you.

[Julia] And I believe him

that he's going to be more proactive,

and that's all I want.

It's over.

What are you wearing?

I wanted to be

a cuddly teddy bear for you.

So we don't fight anymore,

and I can make you laugh a little bit.

[laughs]

[upbeat music playing]

-Are you ready for this?

-Ready for this?

Yeah.

You know what? I love that

you're making me go to this therapist.

[Robert] A sex therapist!

-What do you think he's gonna ask us?

-I don't know.

I think he's gonna ask you

what went wrong in your childhood

-to make you the way you are.

-[laughs]

[Ra'ed] I did not like the taste

of my own medicine.

-It has tested me completely.

-Very salty, very salty.

Very salty.

-What's his name?

-Uh

-Doctor Todd, I think.

-Doctor Todd?

[Ra'ed] And I need to unpack

whatever those feelings were.

I think seeing a sex therapist

is gonna be a good idea.

And we'll have a third party

to help us communicate better together,

and my goal would be to walk

out of there with a plan to go forward.

-It's very nice to meet you both.

-I came really dressed for therapy.

-Perfect!

-[Robert] You know.

You're gonna allow me to say

whatever I want. This is a free space.

-Here we go. He's starting!

-[Robert] Demanding! My God!

[Dr. Todd] What brings you here?

We are really, like,

having a lot of conversations

about, like, taking the next step

in our relationship.

I think we communicate really well,

but, um, we're, like, on polar opposites

when it comes to some

stuff specifically related to sex.

-What are your conflicting needs, wants?

-We have an open relationship now.

Basically, he does whatever he wants.

Okay, right there, how are we with that?

I love it! I mean, I have the person

I care about the most in my life.

-I get to do whatever I want and have fun.

-Okay, makes sense to me.

Where are we with this?

I just feel like it's, it's fun.

And if we're having fun, that's great.

I'm down to have fun.

But if we're, like, building a life,

then I'm, like,

is that how you build a life?

And the only reference point I have

are my parents or

the people in my life

who have successful relationships.

-Right.

-None of whom approach relationships

-with that mentality.

-I see.

I don't believe we're gonna

in a monogamous relationship.

I also would like the wiggle room.

[chuckles]

So coming back to what you would envision.

The ideal open relationship,

what would you say?

[Ra'ed] I would say my rules

would be having no friends

-with the people I have sex with.

-[Dr. Todd] For yourself?

For myself. No friendship.

So how is that for you?

I would feel better

if he would limit the number of partners.

Mm-hmm.

That's fair. I think that's fair.

I want to limit the number of partners.

[Robert] In the last two weeks,

have you had that many?

Three weeks.

I haven't had sex with anybody else.

In some ways it sounds like,

in creating the rules, there's more

fear of the constraint

than the constraint itself.

-One thousand percent!

-Thousand percent. Yeah. Again.

You wanna have all the possibilities

even if you're not gonna touch anyone.

-Yes.

-Yes.

Freedom!

Right, and now you're committing

to limiting that field a little bit.

So what would your rules be for you?

If we're going to the place I want

to go to, which is marriage and kids,

then we're making that commitment together

that, yes, this is the path we're on,

then I won't go on second dates.

So it's like I wanna be able to go on,

like, noncommittal dates

where I can establish some type

of human connection with the individual.

Maybe it'll end in sex, maybe it won't.

Even though the date itself

will bother me,

but I will accept that,

because you have to give and take.

Some empathy is coming forward

for you too.

Yes, because at the end

of the day, Doctor,

I want the best for, first, my friend.

I definitely have more understanding

of Robert's point of view and perspective.

What did you learn, babe?

That, you know, having your cake

and eating it too is fun, on our terms.

Thank you very much.

So I think we've arrived

at a workable rule, guideline,

whatever you want to call it for now.

They're different, but they're workable

and you both accept each other's rules.

-If I understand.

-Yes.

We need to come here more often, girl.

-Speak it to the Gods.

-Door is open.

Yeah, seriously.

[upbeat music playing]

-[Miriam] So nice outside.

-[Julia] This is the first nice day.

This is it, yeah?

Yeah, I think so.

Look at that. This is so pretty.

[Miriam] Hello.

-[Greg] Hello. How are you?

-Hello.

-I'm Julia.

-I'm Greg Kwiat.

-Nice to see you.

-Lovely to meet you.

-I'm Miriam.

-Very nice to meet you, Miriam.

-Thank you.

-It's a pleasure.

This is the ring, my engagement ring.

-Oh, wow.

-[Miriam laughs]

-Well, that's gorgeous.

-[laughs] Thank you.

-That is special.

-Yes. It's not nothing, that is for sure.

[Greg] That is for sure.

-Come, let's stand over here.

-[Julia] Thank you.

I'm gonna get

my engagement ring appraised.

I'm actually very scared

to take off my ring

because I've already lost these paintings.

I've been wearing it this whole time

because I'm afraid he's going to

come into this house and take it.

I've been holding it on my finger

because it was the safest.

Right now it's all I've got,

and I need to support, like, 11 people.

Not to mention my insane legal bills.

And I want to sell this

to get money for Haart Sphere.

Honestly, this ring

makes me nauseous now. [laughs]

-I never wanna see it again!

-That's a shame. It is a beautiful ring.

It is a beautiful ring. It's the last

diamond from the Golconda Mine.

Wow. Golconda Mine,

as you probably know, long closed.

It's one of the original

diamond mines located in India.

The diamonds from that mine

tend to be exceptionally pure

and white, so they're highly prized.

-[Julia] Oh, good.

-So let's take a look.

[Julia] Fingers crossed.

There is an engraving that indicates

the weight of the center stone.

-Okay.

-15.28 carats.

-We know the weight of the center stone.

-We bought it for 2.5 million.

-Yeah.

-So that makes it? What? I don't know.

So this is a D color, for sure.

I can see it just as I look at the stone.

The best grade for clarity

would be flawless, um

So, up to three million dollars, I think,

is potential with a stone like this.

-Okay.

-It is a stunning ring.

It used to symbolize one thing, now it

symbolizes something very different.

-Yes. I love you.

-[Julia] I'm excited.

You excited?

-I'm excited!

-I'm nervous.

[Julia] I'm really proud of Miriam.

She's gonna be massively successful.

-Let the Haart Dynasty begin.

-Haart Begin!

[Miriam grunts]

It's so f*cking awesome.

-You guys are gonna go into business?

-[both] Yes.

-We're in a family business.

-I work with my father and two brothers.

Okay.

The key in a family business

is communication.

We speak about work all the time,

even outside the office.

But when it's time for family time,

work is on the side and we enjoy

our time together as a family.

-We need to do that.

-We gotta.

-When you get it, you'll make it work.

-Exactly. Thank you.

-Well, thank you.

-My pleasure.

[Miriam] Great advice.

[upbeat music playing]

Let's find Julia a man!

[indistinct chatter]

This is no time to look at menus.

[Julia] Hey!

-The girls are out! You're ready tonight!

-I need some liquid courage.

I've never done this.

Your t*ts are giving me courage,

that's for sure.

I've never done this!

I have never seen a human being more

in need of a p*nis than Julia Haart now.

[Ra'ed laughs]

I mean, this night

is all about you, obviously,

because we need to get her laid,

and that is obviously not my forte.

Yes, I'm the boss. That's my territory.

That's my field of study.

-I have a PhD in wingman

-[Robert] Advanced studies.

-[Ra'ed] My territory.

-You passed your bar.

This I passed my bar.

This is where I rule.

-I conquer.

-Yes.

So whatever Julia wants,

Julia gets. That's how it works.

I have no idea what I'm doing.

And I need to get out

of my whole intense relationship thing.

-I wanna date

-Someone needs to get in your hole!

Exactly! I wanna have fun!

I wanna date outside my comfort zone.

I wanna go out with people

I would have never said yes to.

-[Robert] Okay.

-Like, I've got to mix it up.

Robert and Ra'ed decided

that they're taking me to a bar,

so I can learn how to pick up a guy.

[laughing] Oh my gosh.

Or get picked up by a guy? I don't know.

[Julia] Oh my God,

this is f*cking embarrassing.

-It's like a sample sale.

-[Julia] I cannot do this.

How do I look, how do I look?

-You look fantastic! You're gorgeous!

-Guys, I want to Mr. Matt right here.

-[Matt] How are you?

-I'm Julia.

-I'm Matt.

-[Ra'ed] Julia, princess of the evening.

The princess! Very nice to meet you.

And Matt is very generous enough

to want to show us his d*ck.

-Well.

-Oh my God! What?

He's so gross.

I know! This is the problem!

-Please, ignore him.

-Can't take him anywhere.

I'm gonna step away.

Nice to meet you.

-Nice to meet you.

-Have a lovely night.

-Good, good warm-up.

-That wasn't a warm-up!

I said, "Hello, my name is Julia."

Next target, next target, next target.

[Ra'ed] There is a guy

who's alone right there. I'm intrigued.

-I'm gonna bring him over to talk.

-Fine.

-Get to know him, you know?

-[Julia] Fine.

-How are you doing? You doing good?

-Pretty good.

-My name is Ra'ed.

-Okay.

-He's a good-looking guy. He's cute.

-[Robert] Very handsome face.

Can I have another one?

-Introducing the gentleman of the hour.

-David.

-David, lovely

-What's your name?

-I'm Julia.

-Julia.

[Robert] What's the deal?

Are you single, married?

I've been in a relationship a long time,

but, you know, at a crossroads.

Figuring it out, you know, type stuff.

Now, this man is in a relationship.

Yeah, it's not doing it for me.

[Ra'ed] Hey, guys!

I want you to meet my best

childhood friend from Lebanon, Matt.

-[Robert] Lebanon!

-What's up with you, beautiful?

[Julia] Ra'ed's wandering around

and he brings this guy.

And he just has the kindest eyes.

And he's smiling

and he's laughing and he's so cute.

Oh my God, I'm so nervous.

I can't stand it! It's too nerve-racking!

-[Robert] Have you tried these yet?

-I'm gonna steal this.

-Is that all right?

-Yes!

-I'm dying right now.

-What do you do?

I'm a consultant.

[Julia] But you're, like, literally

-How old are you?

-I'm 23.

[laughs]

[Matt] Too young?

Um

I guess not.

-You guys ready to play a game?

-[Matt] We might be.

We might be.

-We play our own game.

-We play our own game.

[cheering]

Check it out.

-That's a bit easier.

-Yes, thank God.

-I didn't like the pressure.

-Me neither. Let's keep drinking.

"We'll play our own game."

-Oof!

-Oh!

-[Robert] Lord in heaven!

-[Ra'ed] Oh my God!

-I was like, play any game you want!

-Any game.

Honey, we're gonna

excuse ourselves.

-Ah!

-Jesus.

[Robert] Before we walked in this bar,

it was a drought season.

God bless the rains down in Africa?

Well, they had not come.

But I think we may have helped them come.

That bed's gonna have to be cleaned.

Oh my gosh.

[chuckles]

-I wanna have fun!

-There you go.

-I wanna have a good time.

-Having fun?

-Yes. I am.

-A bit at least?

Am I entertaining you a tiny bit?

I have a rule for myself that I have to

do something that scares me shitless

at least once a week.

Once a week?

You're my scaring me shitless once a week.

-Yeah, I bet I am. Yeah.

-You are. I'm f*cking scared shitless.

-Ugly mug.

-You definitely don't have an ugly mug.

If you're gonna look at me like that,

I need the cameras to leave. [laughs]

-What? What did I do?

-Nothing.

I get overstimulated and I'm like, duh!

Overstimulated? I like the sound of that!

-Oh my God.

-[Matt laughs]

I will give you my phone number.

It's very, very private.

What are you doing later, though?

Um I don't know.

-Shall we exit together? Wanna exit?

-Yeah.

[Julia] I just get lost in his eyes.

And before I know it [chuckles]

[pop music playing]

[Julia] So crazy!

Whew! Okay! Onwards and upwards

or sideways or whatever.

[Julia] Jesus.

[closing theme music playing]
