DEVIN: You got it, come on.

- Just a little tap.

[Mya Jo laughs]

BAYLEE/KIRK:

Oh!

[Mya Jo and Nick cheer]

NICK: There it is. Woo!

- Woo!

NARRATOR:

Oftentimes, when it comes to love,

we think it's the big,

monumental moments

that define a relationship.

The "I love yous,"

the weddings, the devastating breakups,

but maybe the micro-moments

have the most impact.

The way we look at someone,

the way someone looks at us.

What we choose to say,

what someone doesn't say back.

When we decide to go further,

when we pull back.

[both laughing]

Maybe these are the moments

we should pay closer attention to.

[group cheering]

DEVIN: Come on.

- Whatever.

[Mya Jo chuckles]

DEVIN: You win some, you lose some.

KIRK: Come on. It was a good game.

NICK: Y'all played nice.

- I'm out.

I know what you're doin'.

It's cool.

DEVIN: Where'd she go?

[Baylee inhales sharply]

NARRATOR:

Because in the end,

they might just be the ones

that make or break us.

NICK:

Did I do somethin'?

MYA JO: Sorry.

- I should probably go say--

DEVIN: Yeah.

- Alright.

MYA JO: Yeah, you probably should.

- I'm gonna go handle that.

- So, I was really surprised

to get your text about Hamid,

and y'all breakin' up.

- When somebody texts you and says,

"I just can't do this

relationship anymore."

And, "Please do not respond."

And unfriends you on Facebook--

- He said, "Please do not respond"?

[gasps]

CLAIBORNE: And unfriends you.

- That warrants the unicorn salute.

LORI: Oh, my God. That's as bad as

the Dear John letter.

- This is not high school anymore.

NARRATOR: Well, I guess

the next chapter is gonna have

to be about breakups.
