02x17 - Reunion (1)

Post by bunniefuu »

[Andy] Tonight, the Below Deck
Sailing Yacht Reunion goes full tilt.

Gary, do you think you were
a twat to all the women on the boat?

[Gary] Um...

Well, you clearly also hated me
and thought that I was a giant b*tch.

-Don't put words in my mouth, Dais.
-You never called me a b*tch?

That does not wash at all.

[Andy] And a Parsifal III way boat-mance.

Why don't you think you broke girl code?

Why don't we ask Sydney?

I told myself I won't get emotional.

He thinks it's not his child.

And he doesn't want to have
anything to do with it.

My heart breaks for Dani.

Dani, everybody wants to know,

is JL the father of your baby?

Well, let's put it this way...

Jean-Luc couldn't join us,
so we tracked him down.

What do you say to that?

[exhales deeply]

Oh, man. You're going to make me
do this now, aren't you?

[Andy] The Below Deck Sailing
Yacht Reunion starts now.

Welcome to the Below Deck Sailing Yacht,
Season Two Reunion.

I'm your host, Andy Cohen.

After navigating strong winds

and a whirlwind
of headstrong charter guests,

the Parsifal III crew has
officially made it back to port.

Hope everyone has a strong drink
because we are diving

into everything that went
down this season.

Let's check in with the g*ng.

Hey, Captain Glenn.

-Hey, how are you doing, Andy?
-Great, where are you joining us from?

Uh, I'm at my apartment
in Palma de Mallorca, Spain.

[Andy] Oh, lucky you.

Let's turn to our Chief Stew, Daisy.
Hi, Daisy.

-Hi.
-Daisy, where are you?

I'm in Palma.

-Palma de Mallorca.
-Oh, okay. Great.

Next up is Gary.

Hey, Gary.

Hey, Andy. How's it going?

Everything's going good. Where are you?

I'm in Genoa, Italy, at the moment.

-Wow.
-The land of pesto. Mm.

The land of pesto.

Uh, Chef Natasha.

-How are you?
-Hi, Andy!

-Hi.
-I'm fine, thank you.

How are you feeling
about this reunion tonight?

Um, pretty good, I guess.

Next up, the king of the catamaran.
Hey, Colin, how are you doing?

How's it going, Andy? Good, thank you.

Good. That's a very neat bedroom
you have there.

Yeah, I'm in a... I'm in a hotel in Panama.

I had to travel an hour and a half

out of the jungle
to get some decent Wi-Fi.

Wow! Well, thank you
for the effort you made.

We really appreciate it.

Sydney, how are you? And where are you?

I'm doing good, Andy. Thanks.

I am also in Palma de Mallorca.

Um, I'm actually in Daisy's room.

I was just in a hotel,
but we were running late, so...

God, are you and Daisy,
like, in the same room?

Because I see your background
looks very similar.

Yeah, she's like right there.

[Andy] Oh, I love it. That's so cute.

Uh, next up, it is, uh, Alli.

-Hey, Alli. How are you doing?
-Hey, Andy.

I'm good, thank you.

Last but not least, it's Dani.

Hey, Dani.

-Hi, Andy.
-[Andy] Hi.

Congratulations to you.
You're ready to pop any day now.

How are you feeling?

Thank you. I feel good.
I feel pretty good.

-I'm ready.
-Very good.

Well, we are missing Jean-Luc.

Jean-Luc is currently on charter
and he can't join us today.

But I have a feeling it's just

some slight chafing
and it'll clear up tomorrow.

[all laughing]

Hope so!

[Andy] Just two day's time.
We're a minute into the show

and Gary already changed his hair.

[scoffs] It's still wet,
I'm finally letting it hang down.

-Okay.
-Doesn't look good.

Okay. Uh, Jaycee M.
Facebooked us and said,

"Glenn, are you single?
I'm asking for a friend."

[laughs] I'm not married,
but I'm not celibate.

Let's put it that way.

So you are single?

-[all laughing]
-Well...

[Andy] Does it go down in your DMs?

I bet it does.

Oh, yeah, I get a lot of interesting DMs.

[Andy] I bet.

Photos, videos, you know,
all kinds of invitations.

-It's great.
-[Andy] I bet.

-I love it.
-[Andy] Yes.

Dani, Carrie B. said, "Alli confirmed
on Watch What Happens Live

that you guys hooked up
in the master cabin."

"Be honest. Who's the better kisser,
Alli or JL?"

[chuckles]

Uh, definitely Alli.

[both laughing]

[Andy] Nice.

Kay A. wants to know,

"Captain Glenn, do you require that
all deck crew gets checked out for STDs

since bed hopping
is the norm for the crew?"

Not up till now, but next season for sure.

What? Don't... No, no.
What kind of question...

What kind of question is that?

It's not... it's not my department.

[Andy] Very good. I have to say,

it was fun for me this season
watching the show because

you all were clearly an excellent crew.

I mean, you all really
were great at your jobs.

Did you...
would you agree with that, Glenn?

Absolutely, they were amazing,

fantastic crew,
I couldn't ask for a better crew.

Yeah, well, while Captain Glenn considered
this crew a crack team overall,

a fracture between
the interior and exterior crews

seemed to get deeper all season.

And along the way, it caused
many a yachty breakdown.

Watch.

JL needs to serve
with us every time he comes.

Is it possible to get some help
down the interior?

We have dishes everywhere.

[Gary] We never get help
from them up on deck.

But as soon as they need help,
It's [bleep] help me right now.

[Daisy] If everyone just did their part,

I wouldn't have to come across
as such a b*tch.

[bleep] not getting done at nights
from my side of it,

because I think him and Dani
are just been hooking up.

Change your own department.
Don't come and [bleep] it up with my job.

I've literally been told not
to offer help to you guys.

You don't have to work
any later than 11:00,

even if there's still dishes to do. Okay?

[Alli] What?

It's getting pretty old pretty fast.

Gary, Stephanie M. wants to know

why you have such an issue
with helping the interior

with dishes, service,
and other dinner things.

Right.

Um, well, it wasn't that
I didn't want to help,

but when you're working
a 17-hour day nonstop,

and I'm not saying no one is working
because we all worked really hard.

Um, to get the motivation to help
inside after a 17-hour day,

it's very, very hard
to find that motivation.

[Andy] I want to hear from Daisy.

Come on, Daisy.

I felt... It wasn't that I felt

like you were any lazier,
worked any less than we did.

That was never
my interpretation of what was happening.

But my interpretation was that,

"Oh, it's interior?
Not my problem. Not my job."

I know you worked 17 hours a day,
but I also know

that you had a lot of downtime
during those 17 hours.

But that's okay.

[Andy] Colin, Leah C. said,
"It looked like you did

some of the deck work
aside from your engineer work

and helped Natasha
prepare the crew meals."

"Why is it such a hassle for the interior
to get a little help as well?

Was Gary overreacting?"

Um, no, I kind of agree
with Gary on this one.

The deck guys are working really hard

um, and, yeah, it's just one of
those things on Super Yachts

that it's easy to point
the finger and assume

other people aren't working
as hard as you are.

But everyone was busting
their a*s on this boat, so...

[Andy] Gary, how many smoke breaks
did you take a day?

Um, three, four, maybe.

Three or four a day? That's it?

Who knows?

Three or four, per smoke break.

So if you have three or four
per smoke break,

four smoke breaks,
that equals at least 12.

-So...
-[all laughing]

A 12, you know, cigarette break
during dinner time is not a good time.

Dinner service is my biggest pet hate.
And I agree with both of you.

I don't think the exterior crew
were lazy at all.

It was the chosen times to kind
of seem to have a break. It grated me.

Glenn, are the interior and exterior crews

obligated to help each other out,

or is it completely
up to the department heads?

It's got to be, you know,
it's got to be reciprocated.

I think it was,
but it's got to be a team effort.

It's not, "Oh, that's not my department."
That does not wash at all.

Martha D. emailed,
"Dani, you were rightfully pissed

when you learned Gary
was trying to change your job

to address JL's lazy behavior
when he worked nights."

"How do you think Gary
should have dealt with the problem?"

He should have dealt with JL.

If his problem was that JL wasn't working,

he should have dealt
with him, not with me.

I was doing my job.

Daisy, did it bother you
when Gary tried to insert himself

into how you run your department?

Um, at the time it didn't.

I understood where Gary was coming from,
but when I saw the interview

and he said like,
"Oh, Daisy takes, takes, takes,"

I didn't mind that he came to me.

I was like, "Okay, well,
this isn't going to work."

And he's like, he takes, takes, takes.
I'm like... [scoffs]

"Piss off."
Like, this is the way it's going to go.

There's no way I'm changing my department

because of your absolutely
moronic deckhand.

Like, I'm not...
It's just not going to happen.

And it's my fault. No.

So the moronic deckhand in question is JL?

[all laughing]

Well...

I think we blame everything on JL.
He's not here. It makes sense, right?

Anything that went wrong this season, JL.

I'm not blaming him because he's not here.

I am blaming Gary for slagging me off
behind a closed door

where I'm not around
to stick up for myself.

And, yeah, that's not what I'm okay with.

He asked me for a favor.
I said no, and that was the end of this.

Welcome back to the
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Reunion.

I am Andy Cohen,

joined by the Parsifal III crew,
Captain Glenn, Daisy,

Gary, Natasha, Colin,
Sydney, Alli, and Dani.

Rosie I. wants to know,

"Sydney, uh, did Gary really tell
the deck team not to help the stews

or were you just saying that
to cause drama?"

-Um...
-[all laughing]

I would never say anything
just to cause drama.

I... However, there was times that

perhaps I was encouraged
to focus on my breaks

instead of helping interior
when I'd rather help the interior.

Gary, did you say that?

Yes, I did.

But, I said it after 11 o'clock at night,

and I remember as clear as day,

me saying that Sydney was up

when she was on days
at six o'clock in the morning.

Um, we didn't get to rest
throughout the day because we were busy,

but that's just how it was.

Um, and I said to her,
"After 11 o'clock, you go to bed."

By law, she is not allowed to work

from six o'clock
till eleven o'clock at night.

By law, she is not.

So I'm just trying to look out for
my deck department as much as possible,

and then for her to go to everyone
around the table and say,

"Gary said
I'm not allowed to help you out."

Um, yeah, I kind of did,
but I had reason behind it.

Yeah, I will say I was really
wound up when Gary said that.

But by watching over,
it made a lot more sense to me.

He didn't say don't help,

but of course people like
to have their breaks.

That's never ever
what I expected from anybody.

Question, sorry. I mean, and I agree
with you completely, Daisy,

um, but if I had a terrible work ethic,
I'm sure I wouldn't

have lasted this long on boats.

Um, and, yes, I agree with
what you said, Dais and Glenn,

that we were a team
and we need to help each other out.

I've learned that from this season
and it's not going to continue.

Thanks, Dais, my girl.

Um, but at the end of the day,
when you've worked your shift,

you can't physically work

And that goes
for every single person here.

So for me saying to her,
it was looking out for her.

-Sydney, I never said that to never help.
-I, I agree with you. I...

Yeah, I know. That's what I'm saying.

I had a very...
volatile relationship with you,

I knew you were season yachty
and a lot of stuff we agreed with

and some stuff we didn't.

And it was very confusing for me.

I think, you know, watching the show,
it was obvious where I was confused

and where my, um...

where there was miscommunication,
misinformation coming to me.

But you clearly also hated me

and thought that I was
a giant b*tch. So...

Don't put words in my mouth, Daisy.
I never thought that.

-One thing I can elaborate on...
-You never called me a b*tch?

-I might have said you acted bitchy.
-Okay.

I'd never say you were a b*tch.
Not a [bleep].

My mom would give me
a backhand if I said that.

[Andy] When did he
call you a b*tch, Daisy?

[Daisy laughs]

We're gonna do... We're going to do
all these pillows for everybody.

Oh, for most women who deserves.

Who doesn't deserve that? Uh, Daisy.

Oh, what's the thing we would
change most about charter?

Uh, Daisy. And then it went on
and on and on.

I also heard in personal messages
from other crew members

being like, "Yeah, well, Daisy's such
a [bleep] b*tch. But we all know that."

No, well, I can tell you now
that's not true.

Anyway. But what I... Okay. We get back...
This is stupid.

We're not even arguing over this
because I never called you a b*tch.

I might have said you're being bitchy,
which is not the same.

Being bitchy and being a b*tch
is completely different.

Anyway, what I was saying,
what I was elaborating on

is when you say communication
was a problem,

and I think that is what it boils down to.

It wasn't easy for watching the way
you spoke about me in our interviews.

It wasn't... I didn't think
it was very nice.

And I think you were
pretty harsh about me,

that you were derogatory towards my job.

You were derogatory towards me as...
I felt, as a woman.

And I like you.
I have a lot of respect for you and...

I don't know. I don't know where we kind
of broke down during the season,

but it obviously happened.
Maybe it was other people.

I'm sorry that you feel that way, Dais.
I honestly do.

I might have missed those episodes where

I've been so derogatory
to you because, um...

that actually hurts me a little bit

because I never thought
I was derogatory to anyone.

That I would treat someone... Yeah.

I don't know if I said anything bad
that made you feel that way.

And um, and I apologize.

What?

I don't know what, what
me saying, Daisy...

Literally, the last episode,
you literally went at me.

You... I wasn't even around
and you're like,

"Yeah, Daisy this, Daisy that,
Daisy's a [bleep] this.

And blah, blah, blah. You went at me.

-I wasn't even around and you were like,
-Okay, I need to...

oh, you were like "Every woman
deserves everything, apart from Daisy."

I'm like, "Oh, okay. Brilliant.
That makes me feel [bleep] smashing.'

No, that wouldn't make you feel smashing.
I can understand that.

Oh, did you not... Did you say it or not?

I could... I mean if I said it I said it.

-If it's on TV, I must have.
-Okay.

I don't, me knowing myself as a person,

I don't see myself saying
something like that.

But I guess it happened.
I need to watch the episodes. That's...

Yeah, I have a feeling
we're going to roll the clip right now.

Most women should be treated like queens.

-Most?
-Daisy, no.

[both laughing]

[Andy] The interesting thing is that,

you know, Alli and Dani,
Sophie B. pointed out,

this might be the first Below Deck season

where all the stews
got along with the Chief Stew.

Uh, what would you say were
Daisy's strengths as a boss?

I always felt like,
no matter what I was doing,

I was going to be able to get it right

because I had Daisy's support
the whole way through.

She took out time to actually

teach me things the way
that they should be done.

And she was amazing.

Daisy's amazing! This is great.

-[laughs]
-[Andy] That's great.

Glenn, Dan F. from Syracuse wants to know,

"Why your crew has such
a "looser code of conduct" rules

than the crews
on the other Below Deck, uh, shows."

You do seem way more easy-breezy
than Sandy or Captain Lee.

Uh, I think maybe this season
you see them party on the boat,

you see them doing stuff on the boat.

And so maybe it seems like,
you know, they should be acting

in a certain way
because they're on the boat.

But it's partly because they can't go
to a bar and really let loose.

Uh, but I think they're professional.

As far as my style,
yeah, I'm a little more hands off.

Um, but, you know, my style
only works with great people

and I think I had great people and they,
you know, they take care of themselves.

Yeah. And to elaborate,
I think because of our situation

with the COVID protocols and stuff,
we had to socialize on the boat.

And while you're working on the boat,
the boat is our home

and you're a lot more relaxed
and a lot more loose in your own home,

I think, than out in public,
in a bar or at a restaurant.

And people are seeing that
and comparing it to other seasons.

But this season is like no other.

So it's... it's a bit
of an unfair judgment, if I may say so.

And also, other seasons were a party.

I'm also like, relax, it's just a boat.
People are just having sex.

-We're just going swimming.
-[Andy laughs]

Glenn, is there anything
that you saw while you were

watching the show
that you didn't know happened

that wound up irritating you
when you saw the show?

Uh, I think people casually, everybody,

you know, like a revolving door
into the guest cabins is not cool,

uh, but it's not, for me,
it's not a deal-breaker.

It's not like, uh, something
I'm going to fire somebody over.

[Andy] All right.

Welcome back to the
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Reunion.

I'm Andy Cohen.

We got Captain Glenn, Daisy,

Gary, Natasha, Colin,
Sydney, Alli, and Dani.

While Chef Natasha received

a buffet of rave reviews
about her cooking this season,

some charter guests
were less than satisfied,

and her colleagues found
her performance to be

as all over the place as one of her
signature dessert paintings. Take a look.

You have to initiate breakfast,

like, you have to set the table
to get it out.

First thing you do is to set the table.
This is your job.

-They're asking for more bread.
-[Natasha] What?

Yeah, that's like 20 pita bread.

-But you didn't put out 20 of those?
-Yes, I did.

Why is she blatantly lying
about pita bread?

-No, you didn't put out 20.
-I make it. I'm telling you.

-Take that back for me.
-Yeah, sure.

-I just want the poached egg. Yes.
-Not the sauce?

I'm just letting the captain know about
the [bleep] with the Eggs Benedict.

What was the problem?

Daisy is such a b*tch.

[man] I told you we should have
our own chef with us.

[Natasha] I'm just doing, like,
three courses for dinner

because they are totally hammered.

Natasha, you didn't tell the guests that
they were having five courses, did you?

Nope. I told them three.

Natasha has done this so many times.
It's [bleep] pissing me off.

All right.

Natasha, who was the worst guest and why?

I would say Barrie charter for sure
is the most challenging.

Um, it was a quite unique charter,
something I never had before.

Um, Natasha, Shannon C. said,

"As a yacht chef serving
a majority of Americans,

have you learned how to make eggs

and admit that a poached egg
and over easy eggs

are not the same as scrambled eggs?"

-Natasha, defend your egg cooking.
-Um...

Yeah, I have learned
the definition of making eggs,

but I did [bleep] like any one
of us like [bleep] sometimes.

Um, Natasha, Jessica L. wants to know,

"How many pitas
actually were in the basket?"

There were actually 20 and I know

Daisy may not agree with me on this,
but there was 20

and I know, like, I have photos
and all the dates on my iPhone.

The thing is, my ex-boyfriend
at that time,

um, I had sent him photos,
what I was doing the breakfast.

And he sent back the photo
for me when he saw the episode

with the date on it
and the time that I had sent him.

So, I did make, uh, I think it's like,

It's not something
I want to argue about anymore.

I think it's the past, it's not really...

Well, listen, if you have the receipt,
let's see the photo.

I have this phone.

Okay, I'm trying to see
if I can check this phone right now.

[Andy] Okay, great.

Uh, Daisy, do you think
there were 20 pitas in there?

If there were 20 pitas, fine.

I will put my hands up and say it's okay.

You know, me and Natasha are friends.

I will be okay with that, but I strong...

like, I strong heartedly believe
that there were not.

Maybe there were 14,

maybe there were 10. Maybe there were 19.

-No, no.
-There weren't 20 pitas!

So we have the photo of the pitas.

Let's see it. There it is.

-I mean, I don't know...
-[Natasha] No.

[Gary] One, two, three, four, five, six,
seven, eight, nine. I get about nine.

[Andy] That looks more like

No, it's not. It's not. Check it out!

You would see.
Check it properly and you will see.

Really? They've been studying it
in the control room, and I don't know,

one, two, three, four...

It's more than nine. I'm sure.

-Daisy, did that picture close this issue?
-Hey, of course.

Or did it beg...
Or does it beg more questions?

You're having a laugh. Absolutely not.

I need a date, I need more,
like, she made pitas.

I love Natasha. I'm not signing her off.

This isn't about that.

But, she made that particular breakfast
multiple times.

That is bull [bleep]!

So you think that could be a picture
of pitas from another day as well?

-No, I could show you pitas...
-No? Well, yeah.

...from another day.

Someone with half a brain
can take a picture

any day that you made pitas

and say that came
from that particular day.

It also, though,

does not look like the amount
of pitas that Natasha thinks.

I think it's Photoshopped.

[all laughing]

I want to know if Colin is
glad that he drove two and a half hours

for better Wi-Fi for this conversation.

[all laughing]

I just have something
to say about that photo.

If you're going to send a photo,
make sure there's 20 in there.

I have photos regardless.
But that's the photo.

I honestly believe that I made 20
but it could be wrong, I could be wrong.

-But I honestly think...
-You made 20?

You can't say you have multiple photos

of multiple pita parties,
like it's just not a thing.

This was a specific day

with a specific amount of pitas.
There wasn't 20!

-It's okay. It doesn't matter.
-[Andy] Okay.

But there's not even 20 in the photo.

Yeah, I know.

[laughs]

Welcome back to the Below Deck
Sailing Yacht Reunion.

I'm Andy Cohen with Captain Glenn, Daisy,
Gary, Natasha, Colin, Sydney,

Alli, and Dani.

Natasha, Wendy M. wants to know,

"Why can't you admit when
you make mistakes? Nobody's perfect."

Watching myself back on the show,

it made me realize how defensive I was.

Daisy, the way she approached me first,

it's kind of like intimidating to me.

It's kind of like aggressive.
So whatever she gives to me,

like, I give back to her and I'm sorry.

Daisy and I spoke about that
and we're in a better place.

And I'm... I, I was wrong a lot of times.
So I am sorry.

And I apologize for the times
that I was wrong.

Very good. I love that.

-Good on you.
-Yeah.

Vishnu M. wants to know,

"Glenn, what was your reaction
when you watched the show

and saw all the ways
Natasha dropped the ball

and even lied to or misled guests?"

"For example, telling Erica's charter
they get five courses

then changing it to three."

"Telling Barrie's charter
he'd gotten the cotton candy machine

and then bailing on that request,

serving scrambled eggs
when the guests asked for over easy."

"Should you have stepped in
sooner, Glenn?"

Uh, good question.

Uh, again, I see that stuff after
the fact, so it's kind of hard to step in.

Uh, I think a couple of those
are simple mistakes.

Um, I love Natasha's food.

I gained a lot of weight
during the season.

She's an amazing chef.
But we all make mistakes.

I think she made some mistakes.

And she, you know,
I think she misinterpreted

some... some orders and stuff like that.

But maybe a couple of times,

I don't know what happened
with the three courses

and the five courses,
but maybe she made a judgment call

and, you know, she's got her hand up,
so let her answer.

I did tell the guests
they had five courses,

but they started...
they started drinking like a lot.

So I was like, they're drunk.
They are not going to have five courses.

So that's why I switched to them having
three courses instead of five courses.

But I was prepared when they come
and tell me they are hungry.

So it was like... Would you like
for me to stop, honestly?

Okay, I'm giving you all an extra course.

I really thought that they were drunk
and they would not have a lot of food.

You were punishing them for being drunk?

No, you just never know.
But the thing is like,

me when I'm drunk, I don't eat a lot.

Some people eat a lot. Some people don't.

So, that, I was like,
okay, they would never eat...

Oh, my God! I eat, I eat, like,
two meals when I'm drunk.

[chuckles]

Daisy, you blamed the bad tip
after Barrie's charter on Natasha.

Do you still stand
by that statement today?

You know what, I go back and forth,
I kind of think it was a collective thing.

You know, I do believe
that we were all a team

and I think we all dropped the ball.

But, yeah, I was pissed off
at Natasha's performance.

[Andy] Natasha, what do you think?

Maybe I am, maybe I'm not.
Me, I'm not blaming anybody.

Um... It is what it is
and Barrie was a difficult charter,

so it more reflects on him
and not us, I guess,

because I think he knew that
he and his family were difficult.

Raise your hand if you think

Natasha was to blame
for the tip on Barrie's charter.

[laughs]

Daisy and Gary.
And Glenn is raising a finger.

-Not me, I'm joking.
-We're all to blame.

There's not one person that

-brings a charter ship down.
-[Andy] Okay.

Exactly. It's a team effort.

-Team effort all the way around.
-Team effort.

-It's not just Natasha, not just deck.
-But, Daisy...

-It's everybody.
-Daisy.

It's not Natasha's fault
we got a bad review.

I think it was Natasha's fault,

but I also actually really felt for
Natasha as well at the same time.

Daisy, Jennifer W. said,

"Do you recognize
that your condescending tone

and delivery of your feedback
could account for 50%

of the tension between you and Natasha?"

"Would you do it differently
after watching the show back?"

Brilliant. I love
my condescending tone, but...

-I'm sure she doesn't.
-No.

[laughs]

No, I absolutely recognize it.
And I didn't mean to be so condescending.

I'm not a naturally condescending person.

And the two of us struggled
to communicate with each other.

So, yeah, I... I would have...

I don't regret the strong words,

and done it differently? Yeah, for sure.
But that's okay.

Gary, by the way, I think your hair
is settling really nicely.

Why, thank you. I've just got it colored.

[laughs]

[Andy] Sydney, Dani, and Alli.

Lisa F. said, "We saw Gary and Daisy

complain a lot about
Natasha's overconfidence

despite her ups and downs in the galley."

"Would you want to work with her again?"

Raise your hand if you would
want to work with her again.

-Hell yes.
-Turn to her and ask for help.

Everybody but Daisy.

-Oh, and Daisy. Okay. Okay.
-Hello, I'm...

-[Andy] Um...
-Natasha's food was amazing.

-Natasha's food was amazing.
-Natasha's food is...

Yeah. Natasha, I'm not going to lie.

You are a little bit stubborn.
A little bit.

But that's what makes you
so good at your job.

And as Glenn said, yeah, we got fat.
I'm still trying to work off this weight.

Thank you very much.

-So, it's not easy.
-[all laughing]

Not easy, but yeah, I thought
your cooking was phenomenal.

-It was absolutely delicious.
-There you go.

And that's a good place to leave it.

After the break, more with these yachties
and of course, the boat crash.

-Sorry, Captain Glenn.
-Oh.

We'll be right back.

Welcome back to the Below Deck
Sailing Yacht Reunion.

I'm Andy Cohen. We got Captain Glenn,

Daisy, Gary, Natasha, Colin,
Sydney, Alli, and Dani.

Just when the exterior crew
thought that they'd navigated

enough ups and downs for one season,

everything went sideways
and the boat backed into a dock.

Let's take a look back.

Okay, Gary, I'm going to come back.

Ahead! Ahead! Ahead!

God damn it! [bleep]

Seems like pieces of the boat
floating in the water.

I'm scared to see
what the boat looks like.

I feel embarrassed.
I feel embarrassed for the crew.

Today is probably one of the
worst days in my career.

Wow. Aye, aye, aye, aye, aye.

Um, okay, Glenn,

uh, was the boat crashing into the dock

the worst yachting accident
of your career?

Can we talk a bit more about the pitas,
though, I think...

-Yeah. It was.
-[all laughing]

Yeah, I mean, that...
that stuff doesn't happen. Doesn't happen.

And it happened, you know.
Of course, it's on film.

So, you know, that's even better.

Like, everybody I've ever
worked with is going to see that.

So, yeah, it's not fun.

I know, I kind of understand
what happened now.

I just talked...
I just talked to Byron the other,

uh, a couple of days ago,
and he had a very similar problem.

Uh, when you're in high revs,
when you're maneuvering

and you go under stern,
it gets stuck sometimes.

And it's exactly what happened.

I didn't realize it until I spoke to him.

He spoke to the manufacturer of the...

it's a control wheel pitch propeller.

And he said it's a known issue.
I didn't know about it.

Uh, I wish I had,
I wouldn't have used the higher revs.

Uh, but, yeah, it's, um...

-It ain't pretty.
-[Andy] Yeah, I was thinking...

When I was watching and I was like,
"He's got to be using lower revs."

That's what happened.

-[laughs]
-Well, the thing about... no, exactly.

Sure, Andy, sure, sure.

Thank you, Gary.

Gary is the only one
that's understanding me tonight.

-How much did the repair cost?
-It's a freak event.

-How much did the repair cost?
-Ah...

We were the... the people

who painted the boat
just prior to this season

owed us a free transit paint job.

So, I think was a couple of grand
just to fill it.

-That's it?
-But we were... Yeah, we... I mean... I had...

It was just a paint job?
That's all that it needed?

Uh, no. Yeah, yeah, I mean,
it was just filler that was damaged.

-Oh, wow.
-We were really lucky.

-Yeah.
-And you can see, those...

we were super lucky,

those stones lifting up
and riding up the back.

That was like a massive shock absorber
and it saved us.

What did the dock cost?

I think it was five, six grand.

The insure... our insurance
took care of that.

Wow. Lewis I. wants to know,

"How you think your deck team performed

during the emergency situations
you faced this season.

Uh, exemplary. They were amazing. I mean,

I don't see it till after because,

um, you know, Gary and Sydney and JL,

they're sorting out this problem
at the back.

I'm like 35 meters away trying to control
what the boat's doing.

Everybody did amazing.

All right. Let's leave it there.

Sydney and Colin, Anna B. wants to know,
"If you think Gary did everything he could

as JL's boss to kick his rear into gear."

Um, yeah, I think
JL is an interesting case

to work with, but I think that

Gary handled him the best
that he could and, um, sometimes...

you know, there could have been more done
on JL's part,

but I think that JL is very, very green
as to what he was doing

and maybe didn't necessarily
express that so much.

Colin?

Yeah, um, I didn't
particularly get on that well

with JL from the start,
we didn't really click,

um, but I felt like he kind of

didn't want to take instructions
from Gary or myself sometimes

that which isn't in any episodes.

But, um, that was just his attitude
towards work a little bit.

And, uh, yeah,

he was, I think Sydney had
a much stronger work ethic.

Glenn, do you think JL's work ethic
improved as the season went along?

He just didn't get the urgency
of what's going on.

You know, like, uh, they need something
and he's eating, you know?

Gary, did he improve?

I've always thought about this with JL,
what that saying is,

"You can take a horse to water,
but you can't make it drink."

Um, and I was trying to teach JL
as much as I could.

Maybe I was a bit hard on him at times.

Maybe Sydney, too.
But then when [bleep] hits the fan

or we slide into the dock,
we hit the dock,

maybe it is my forceful nature
of me being hard on him

that gets him to be able to react quickly.

Um, Sydney, Linda J. emailed and said,

"Did you like the way
Gary ran the deck team?"

"What would you have done differently?"

Maybe besides him sleeping

-with his employees?
-Um...

I think when it comes
to a workplace situation

that Gary's very competent at his job.

Um, no, Gary's very good on deck.
He knows what he's talking about,

he knows sailing, he knows how to react.

So I don't have a problem
with the way he ran his deck team.

Glenn, do you think Gary
set a good example as a department head?

Uh, professionally, yes, absolutely.

Uh, personally, yeah.

I mean, the thing about it is,
the issue is that on a boat,

personal and professional,
it's just one big overlap.

So it's kind of, you know, it's,
you can't necessarily uh...

make them into two different categories
when everyone is living together.

And, you know,
it's all happening 24 hours.

Yeah, I can understand that argument.
I can understand that argument.

And would I... Would I have done it
the same way as Gary did it?

No. But I'm not Gary.

I also think Glenn
is being very, very generous.

Gary is the head of department,
I love Gary,

I love everybody,
but Gary knew what he was doing.

He knew the chaos that was going to cause.

And I think he should be held responsible.

I think he calls the [bleep].
And, he knows he did.

Gary's been doing this for 12 years.

It's not your first rodeo.

Um, that was my first rodeo,
in that situation, I can promise you that.

Um, I don't want to relive any of that.

-But...
-You're about to.

The only comment I can say to that,
it takes two to tango.

So, yes, I am to blame 100%.

But we're all human.
We all... I'm not going to say

it wasn't a mistake because whatever.

But if you are sitting there
and telling me you've never

-had a one-night stand drunken hookup
-[Daisy] No. I didn't.

in your life, then, um, yes...

No. And you are right.

You are absolutely right about that.

You are right. And the drunken hookup
that happened with Sydney,

like, you are right, that was like...

a mistake and, like, everybody's part.

But I think as somebody senior, I do think
somebody has to be held accountable.

And unfortunately, it's you.

-All right.
-The two girls were your junior and...

We're gonna... We're going to get into this
a little bit more.

I want to close this out by asking,
um, Glenn, Linda B. emailed,

"Sydney was such a strong deckhand
and had to pick up so much of JL's slack."

"You decided to bring both Gary
and Sydney with you for the crossing."

"Are they your MVPs this season?"

Definitely, uh, Sydney was stronger
than JL, there's no question.

I think that comes across very clearly.

I love Sydney. I think she's great.

And I do want to say, as far
as the whole thing with Gary, you know,

it's complicated because
they're in the same department.

But I really want to say

that I think they both handled
themselves very professionally

once it came out that first,
their first interaction

and how that evolved, but how they kept
working together professionally,

-I was amazed by it.
-Thank you, Glenn.

Okay, well, after the break,
we've got the boat-mance

that wasn't, the infamous love triangle.
Stay with us.

Welcome back to the Below Deck
Sailing Yacht Reunion.

I'm Andy Cohen with Captain Glenn,

Daisy, Gary, Natasha, Colin,
Sydney, Alli, and Dani.

Following the first charter,
Gary and his deckhand Sydney

wasted no time before hooking up.

And as a result, they set in motion

the treacherous undercurrent
that would rock the boat all season,

a love triangle between the two of them
and Alli. Watch.

[indistinct chatter]

If you break down, it's on me.

I'm very undecided on Gary.

-They'll be none of that!
-Oh, that's [bleep] rude!

Yeah, I mean, yes, we did, we had sex.

[Gary] But I don't know if we can carry on

-kissing anymore.
-That's unfortunate.

I don't want to hurt your feelings.
I want to be friends.

I'm doing a workout tomorrow.
Sydney, are you in?

Yeah. I mean, I can [bleep] beat you
in a workout for sure, but...

What'd you mean, beat me?
We aren't competing.

Take it easy!

You should be angry at him, not me.

The feelings I have for Alli is
not the same feelings I have for you.

And I'm so sorry to put that out bluntly.

I thought it was one kiss
on the first night.

Now, I feel like the biggest
as*h*le on this planet.

-I ended it last night.
-Oh, did you?

So I decided that it was
not the right thing to do.

It's not okay.

I'm sitting in a tub with a pretty lady
who's got no top on.

I don't know how to deal with it.

How did you get topless?

-I never was wearing a bra.
-Time to get... yes.

What the [bleep]!

I [bleep] told you that I like you

and you're [bleep] sitting
in the hot tub topless...

I was away for [bleep] five minutes.

[bleep] you, Gary. You're an idiot.

And [bleep] you too, Sydney.

[Andy] Okay, lots to unpack here.

A lot of swear words.

Laura I. said, "Gary, uh, it was obvious

when you were on Watch What Happens Live

that you were into Alli
right from the start."

"So why did you hook up with Sydney?"

"That's kind of pretty much admitting that
you just needed to get it in."

[Gary] Yeah, we were flirting from,

say, from day one,
and we had a good vibe between us.

Um...

Why that happened?

Um, I actually can't answer that.

A drunken hookup,

I'm not going to say it was a mistake
or great because

that's not fair for me to say.
It happened...

um... maybe it shouldn't have happened.

Alli, Tina K. wants to know,

if you would have been interested
in Gary if you knew earlier

that he and Sydney
did more than just kiss?

Um, I think it's fairly apparent
that I wouldn't

because I wouldn't have
put myself in that situation.

It was pretty painful for me
to have to end things.

I was, like, I really liked Gary

and, um, I just felt like
I didn't have a choice.

I would have preferred to have just

never gotten into the situation
in the first place.

Gary, Paula W. from Boston wants to know,

if you feel badly about being a twat

towards basically all the women
on the boat.

Um, I guess, yes.

Stupid question.

[Andy] Ladies, do you agree
with Paula W. from Boston?

Raise your hand if you feel

that Gary was a twat
to all of the ladies on the boat.

At times. [chuckles]

At times, and Daisy,
and, oh, hands are going up.

[all laughing]

Okay, um, there you go.

So maybe Paula's question
wasn't so stupid, Gary.

Gary, Melody J. Facebooked,

"Why do you and Alli always flirt
and make out in front of Sydney

and then can't understand
why she's so upset?"

"I know you said it was a one-night stand,

but why not be more private about it?"

Sydney said she never cared.

Um...

So, yes, it wasn't right
hooking up in front of her.

But I thought I made myself very clear
from day one to Sydney

that it was just a hookup.

Sydney, did you really
get that message from him

that it was just a hookup
at the very beginning?

Um, yes, I did. I just think that

I probably had stronger feelings
than Gary did, that's all.

And, Sydney, I agree.
And that's how I was with Alli

and I'm sorry that that...
us, we really never worked out.

But, Alli, same as what happened,
it was just, it was a weird situation.

You had feelings for me.
I had feelings for Alli.

Alli didn't have feelings for me.

-It was like a domino effect.
-Yes, I did!

It wasn't going anywhere.

-Yes, I did.
-No, no, not in that way.

But when you broke up with me,
I was just like, this can't happen.

And it was just, you know,

-it was a weird situation
-That wasn't easy for me!

Are you actually saying this?
That was not easy for me.

That was really hard for me.

And it was really awkward
working with you every day.

That's not fair to say
that I didn't have feelings for you.

And you know that that's not true.

[Andy] Coming up on part two of
the
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Reunion...

We are having a baby.

-Woo hoo!
-[bleep]

[clapping]

I cannot believe what I've seen

and I have yet to hear
an apology from you.

It didn't have to happen that way,
but it did. And I hate it.

Gary had a girlfriend.

Dani, everybody wants
to know, is JL the father?

Well, let's put it this way...

It's incredibly disgusting that
he won't even acknowledge the situation.

JL, shall I say, does not have a spine.

I wish he was here to defend himself
or to say what he thinks.

[Andy] Jean-Luc couldn't join us,

so we tracked him down
and he's here with us now.

If that is my child,

I want everything and anything
to do with that child's life.
