Bites, Camera, Action!

Rise and shine, Barkers!

Mayor Sniffington?

How did you get in here?

Sam Whippet let me in.

Morning, Barkers!
I have muffins.

Wait, how did you get in here?

Scooch let me in.

Tag gave me a spare key.

And they have very
important news to share.

Fun!
What’s the important news?

Pawston has a chance to
host the Dog-Cathalon!

The Dog-Cathalon?

You mean the most famous race
in the entire world?

Bingo!

Cars, boats and planes all
competing in one big race.

All right!

Having that race in Pawston
would be incredible!

How can we help?

We need to make a
movie showing why Pawston

is the best city for it.

And since Tag is
my crew chief...

I can absolutely make a movie!

Scooch, can you
help me film it?

Way ahead of you.

I already borrowed my mom’s
cellbone camera.

Sam, Mayor Sniffington,
I won’t let you down.

This movie will be great!

Fantastic!

I’ll need it delivered to
my office by the end of day.

Then we’ll take
two muffins to go.

So what should we film first?

Great question!

I wrote it all down when you
were finishing your muffin.

This script has everything
that will happen in our movie!

Scene one:
the beach.

And here we are!

I’m going to zip
across the water

while you film me saying...

"Pawston is the perfect
place for a boat race!"

I love it.
No notes.

Looking good, Tag!

And action!

Pawston is the perfect
place for--

-Woo-hoo!
-Yeah!

We’re in the movie!

We are acting!

Hi, everyone!

Cut!

Ooh! What are we cutting?
Oh, I hope it’s a cake.

No, Beans.
Cut means we stopped filming.

What are you doing here?

Mayor Sniffington
told us about your movie,

and we want to be in it.

Sure, but can you
do it quietly?

Yes!
We can quietly eat nachos!

But in our heads,
we will be thinking,

mmm, these are really, really,
really, really good nachos!

Let’s go again.
Take two.

Looking good, Tag!

the movie looking?

Not good!

I filmed the whole thing,
but you never said,

"Pawston is the perfect

Let’s come back and
try doing it again later.

Right now, we have
to catch that blimp.

-Blimp?
-It’s all in my script.

Hop on!

Okay, so I film you
standing on top

of the blimp while you say...

Pawston is the perfect place
for a flying race!

That might be a problem.

Hey, dogs.

Can you stop playing tennis
while we film a movie?

We’d love to, but...

We’re in the middle of
an all-day tournament.

Tag, the mayor needs this movie
by the end of the day.

We’ll have to work around them.

Let’s do it.

We want to be in the movie.

We even brought more nachos!

Our nachos!

We’ll save you, nachos!

And we need to save that camera!

I got it.

Thanks, Tennis Playing Dogs.

You’re welcome.

Well, the good news is,

the camera was
recording the whole time!

What’s the bad news?

This is what it looks like.

Look out!

Yeah, that definitely didn’t
go according to our plan.

Should we do it again?

We’ll come back later.

Sam is waiting for us
at the speedway

to film the next
part of our movie.

A giant ramp?

You betcha!

The Dog-Cathalon is
no ordinary race!

Which is why I also put turbo
boosters on my race car.

Whoa!

All right, Sam,
Here’s the plan.

We film you going
over that big ramp.

And once you land,
we’ll be there with my camera,

and you’ll say,

"Pawston is the perfect place
for a high-speed car race."

And then I’ll head over to the
diner to enjoy some pawcakes.

Wagnes is getting a fresh maple
syrup delivery as we speak.

Let’s do this.

Ready, Sam?

Action, dog, action!

Woo-hoo!

Say the line,
say the line!

Oh, no!

Sam was supposed to land
inside the stadium.

And we didn’t get the line!

Sam, I need you
to stop the car

and come back so we
can do that again.

Uh, I can’t stop!

The turbo boosters
won’t turn off!

- No!
- We’re coming to help!

Attention, Pawston!

Sam’s race car
is out of control!

Clear the roads!

Whoa, oh-oh-oh!

Quick, everyone,
inside the doorbell store!

And while you’re hiding,

check out our selection
of really fun doorbells.

Thanks, Paw.

Tag!
How do we stop Sam’s race car?

Whoa!

Wagnes can help us!

Is that...
a maple syrup truck?

Yes!
And maple syrup is?

-Delicious.
-And sticky.

Wagnes, we need to
dump the syrup on the road

to stop Sam’s race car.

Come on, come on!

Phew!

Sam, say your line
to the camera!

Pawston is the perfect

Hooray!
We are in the movie!

This is terrible!

Not a single thing went
according to plan today.

And the day’s almost done,

so it’s too late
to go back and do it over.

All we filmed is
a bunch of disasters,

and dogs trying to help us from
making them bigger disasters.

Wait a minute!

Maybe that’s what our
movie should be about!

About how we always come
together to help each other out!

That’s what makes
Pawston the best city

to host the Dog-Cathalon!

That’s a great idea, Tag!

But Mayor Sniffington
needs this movie now!

What if we finish
it while we walk?

I love speed-walking
movie-making.

Well, it looks like
Tag and Scooch

weren’t able
to finish in time.

We finished in time! Look!

Pawston, the perfect place
to host the Dog-Cathalon.

Whether it’s on the beach,

or in the sky,

the racetrack, or the streets...

Pawston is the best of the best,

because we always come together
to help each other out.

I know it’s not perfect, but...

It’s fantastic!

Send it to the Dog-Cathalon
Top Dog right away!

Sent.

Well, you might
as well head home.

It could be days
before they call...

Hello?

Mm-hmm.
Yes, I see, yes.

Sounds great!

The Top Dog loved your movie!

Pawston is hosting
the Dog-Cathalon!

-Woo-hoo!
-I heard the news!

I would have come in earlier,

but my syrup-covered hands
got stuck to the doorknob.

But now that I’m here,

we need a crew chief
for Team Pawston.

Somebody to get the team ready.

And the city ready, too.

Tag, we think it should be you.

I would love to!

And luckily, I have a
great friend to help me.

Let’s go, Pawston!

-Wait, no.
-Bad idea.

-Uh-oh.
-Ugh, sticky.

Stay, Dog, Stay!

All right, Bobby and Bobby,

Now keep it coming.

Nice and straight.

Oh, hi, Mayor Sniffington.

I’m getting this ramp in place

for the big Dog-Cathalon race.

Bravo, Tag!

Yep, Crew Chief Tag is

No!

Did I just say swing it,
and then they swung it?

That’s what happened, yes.

It’s going to be okay, Beans.

Oh, no!

Our roof is a wreck,
and so is Beans.

He loved that roof.

I love that roof!

Where are we going to go

roooof?

Crew Chief Tag
can fix that, too.

Maybe you can stay
at our house.

I don’t think they
can stay at our house.

Spike’s coming home
from space tonight,

and we have a big
welcome dinner to plan.

Did you forget?

Kind of, but it’ll just
be for a little bit,

and I’ll make sure
everything goes smoothly,

because that’s what
a crew chief does.

Well, if it’s just for
a little bit, okay.

Wow, we live here now.

Ooh, the floors are so slidey!

Wee!

Beans, Beans,
they made us cheese stars.

Aw!

Wait! Those are for
Spike’s special dinner.

Oops, you want them back?

Oh, you keep those,
we’ll make more.

This is going to be a disaster.

Don’t worry, leave it
to Crew Chief Tag.

We’ll plan a great
dinner for Spike,

and Frank and Beans will have
a delightful day at the house.

But just not in the kitchen.

Guys, what would you be doing
if you were home right now?

Paper aeroplane race!

Great, here’s some paper.

Find a room, make some planes,
have a blast.

-I love paper aeroplane races!
-Paper aeroplane race!

See? Smooth.
Now who needs help?

Me! I’m making a space salad
with moon-shaped cucumbers

and cherry tomatoes
that look like Mars.

Aw, that’s so cute.

I could really...

That sounded
like Gilber’s scream.

I was working on my big blue
Welcome Home from Space banner,

and...

It’s easier if
I just show you.

- Wee!
- Yeah!

Oh, no.

That’s the big blue paper
for your banner, isn’t it?

Yup.

Frank, Beans, why didn’t you
use the paper I gave you?

Because this big blue paper made
the best paper aeroplane ever.

Whee!

Yeah!
Well, it was the best.

Now it’s just smooshed.

Guys, Gilber needs this
paper to make a banner,

so let’s do something else.

What would you be doing
at home right now?

A picnic lunch in our tree.

Perfect.
Head out to the front yard,

and I’ll be out with lunch.

Lunch! Lunch! Lunch!

Ah!

I’m sorry, Gilber,
but trust Crew Chief Tag.

Here we are, a special
picnic for our special guests.

Oh, and also a little request.

You got more of
those cheese stars?

Those are for Spike’s dinner.

Ooh, what about those stars
that taste like cheese?

That’s... the same thing.

But please enjoy this selection
of fruit, bread, and treats.

Hey, Cheddar, setting the table
for Spike’s welcome home dinner?

Yep. It’s gonna be like
a circus, but with food.

Need some help?

Nah, I got clowns coming by,

but I am worried about them.

Oops.

Don’t worry.
Crew Chief Tag is on it.

Let me go check on their tree.
It might be ready by now.

Time to get this table set.

Wow, Bobby and Bobby.

It looks like new.

So I guess you’re done?

With the roof?

Yeah, but now we got to
do the omelet station.

Wait, omelet station?

Yeah, when the roof fell,
it banged up Beans’ old stove.

So Frank asked
if we could replace it

with a new omelet station.

And we said...

Plus, we gave him the Bobby
and Bobby guarantee,

so it has to
get finished today.

Okay, it wasn’t the plan,
but no problem.

I’ll just head home
and make sure Frank and Beans

are staying out of trouble.

Oh, dear.

Clowns, are you okay?

No! It’s every clown’s
worst nightmare.

Banana peels!

Banana peels?

Where did...

Oh, no.

Ook, ook, ook, ook,
ak, ak, ak, ak!

Guys, what are you doing?

Beans is acting
like a monkey!

Ook, ook, ook, ook,
ak, ak!

Clowns, sorry about that.

I’ll get these peels
out of your way

and you can get back to work.

Frank, Beans?

Did you not see that the banana
peels were making them fall?

Oh, we thought
they were having fun.

Clowns are hard to read.

Their honks were clearly upset.

Let’s just get you set up
somewhere else, okay?

What would you be doing
at home right now?

Playing with toys.

What if I told you
I had the coolest toy ever?

Pretty sure we’d say
what is the toy.

-Helpbot!
-I remember him!

Have fun!

Just please stay around the
garage and the driveway, okay?

Did she say something?

I don’t know.

Ooh, everything’s looking great.

-It’s Mars, right?
-Totally Mars.

And don’t worry,
Crew Chief Tag has made sure

Frank and Beans
are keeping busy.

Helpbot, pick up ball.

Ooh, ooh, Helpbot,
pick up Frank!

See?

But Spike’s arriving soon.

What if they mess up the dinner?

Like they messed up my banner.

I tell you what.

Ol’ Crew Chief Tag will make
sure their tree is all fixed up

so they can get home
in time for dinner.

And everything will be
amazing and great.

Ah, come on!

It’s not funny, Beans.

Ooh, that looks nice.

Yeah, we finished the roof
and the omelet station.

So, all that’s left
is the water slide.

Water slide?

Yeah, this morning
I asked Frank,

is there anything else you need?

And he said,
they’d love a water slide.

And, well, we have this, uh...

Bobby and Bobby guarantee.

Okay, new idea.

I help you and we do
this really, really fast.

Let me talk it over with Bobby.

Yeah, let’s do this.

Tag, come in, Tag.

Oh, hey, Cheddar.
How’s the dinner coming?

More like, where’s
the dinner going?

What?

Frank and Beans made
the robot grab the table

and now it’s rolling
away down the street!

With my banner!

I’m sure it didn’t get very far.

Okay, it got very far.

Keep up the good work, Bobbies.

I gotta chase down a table.

Guys, what happened?

We gave Helpbot
too many commands.

Yeah, and now it
won’t listen to us.

Helpbot! Stop!

Oh, I got a cheese star.

I’ll take it from here.

There goes the cups!
And the plates!

And the salad!

Hmm. That really does
look like Mars.

Uh-oh!

Lady Lydia, look out!
