01x03 - Don't Panic (definitely don't)

Post by bunniefuu »

Hey, bandit!

What are you doing here?

Oh, you know, just

a routine check up.

So, tell me, when

can I expect my IDs.

Oh, uh

We put those on hold.

Huh.

Well then, you got 30K

on you?

- What are you talking about?

- Thirty grand?

Whatever you told me to do.

I pre-sold 200 at $150 a piece.

Two hundred times $150,

you guessed it, 30K.

- Two hundred, no that's-

- I need them by next week.

Yeah, but we didn't say

that you should do that!

Shh-shh-shh!

See, what you said was-

Ok, ok.

you could deliver,

didn't you?

Yeah, but we didn't say-

That's what we said.

Here's the situation.

I already owe the money

to somebody else.

I'm a business man,

and this is how you do business.

So you can either

get me 200 fakes,

or give me 30K.

Weigh it out.

B?

Do not f*ck me here.

Becca?

Okay. No one

is f*cking anyone.

Because here's the thing,

if you girls can't

figure it out then grrr!

We're gonna have a problem.

- We can't!

- We can.

Yes, we can.

No problems here.

Ok. Great.

I'll be checking in.

I see you.

You guys are gonna

figure it out.

You're gonna do great.

Ugh!

Zo?

You ok?

Urgh!!!

Zoe, it's not a big deal.

It's a huge deal, Becca, okay!

It's a big deal.

Urgh!!!

Argh!!!

Who is this guy

that we owe money?

What can he do to us?

Okay, I don't know.

He's just a weird guy.

How weird?

I don't know.

How weird, Becca?!

Stop yelling at me!

Ahhhh!!!!!

Oh, my god.

You don't even know

who this guy is

and now we have to go

into business with him

where we make this

ill*gal merchandise

and for all we know

he could be robbing banks

and betting on fighting dogs

and eating jellyfish and

Breathe, breathe.

It's okay.

Don't worry about that.

Okay. So, uh, Mexico is out.

Why don't we just pay

him out?

Do you have 30 grand

laying around?

I do not.

What if we just don't?

Don't what?

Do it.

Oh.

Becca?

No, I don't want

to mess with Tryst.

What does that mean?

Cross that one out, okay?

Okay, yeah. Right.

We can do this.

It's just one job.

It's 200 IDs

and I never shop

at the mall again.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

Yeah, this is all evidence.

What?

This board thing.

Paper trail.

Okay, we're still good

to meet

at the computer lab

at 4:00PM?

Yep.

I need you to actually

be on time.

I said okay, Mom.

Oh my god, hide me.

What, why?

Yo, Becca.

Hey.

See? He doesn't even

remember you.

Just calm down and don't think

about this during class.

- Okay?

- Okay.

In "A Midsummer Nights Dream",

Shakespeare spent

looking at relationships

between reality and imagination.

Perhaps you can look

at imagination as

- Zoe?

- Huh? What? Present.

First and final warning.

Thank you.

Perhaps we can look

at imagination

and sub in the word fear.

So much so, that Theseus,

towards the end of the play,

as he's working it out

for himself

I'm just saying, I think that

he seems like a very polite guy

who would like genuinely

as you about your day

and what you had

for breakfast.

Timothee Chalamet?

You have the weirdest

romantic fantasies.

The Rock?

Uh? Muscles?

- He's so old.

- Whatever.

This is taking forever.

Yeah, well they are

public school printers.

If I paid taxes,

I'd be offended.

Are we, like,

half way done?

We have not done one.

Ugh!

I kind of want Pho tonight.

Well, this would all go by

a lot faster if you,

oh, I don't know, hoped onto

a computer and helped out.

You know I work better

on a full tummy.

Hey, chess team.

Does anyone need a queen?

You okay, Z?

You seem quiet.

Yeah, I just had a long day

at school.

Yeah?

How was it?

You got home so late today.

You queen of the nerds yet?

Well at least I set the table

and I reheated dinner.

I just thought that you were

gonna help out more this time.

I've seen Dad.

He's good.

Like, better.

He looks I mean,

he looks good.

And he's been sober

for a while now.

Mom, it's almost 8:00PM.

Oh, right, yes, okay.

Um

No, no, no. Don't worry.

I'll clean it.

Thanks.

Don't talk about Dad

in front of Mom.

She doesn't like it,

can you not tell?

Whatever.

So what, have you just officially

moved back home now, or..

No, I'm not.

J, I can't keep covering

for you.

Jesus. What are you

talking about?

Stop taking Mom's

emergency stash.

It was an emergency, okay?

It's what it's for.

I wasn't done with that.

Well, you are now.

It's our leftovers.

f*ck.

Okay. Uh, right.

Bye, honey.

Thank you, for

everything you do.

Of course, thanks Mom.

- Bye, Mom.

- Bye.

Later, girl scout.

Oh, f*ck!

Yo, Z! Is this yours?

Is what mine?

This. Yours?

No.

Hm.

I'm taking it.

Yeah, whatever.

Ah!

Oh, f*ck.

This is so dumb.

We can't discuss ill*gal

activity on school property.

What are those?!

What the sh*t!

It looks sus' if we're just

standing in the smoke pit

and neither of us

were smoking.

Oh

Okay. Yeah, that's actually

pretty smart.

You said you have a plan?

School lab is way too slow.

So, EcoTank printers.

We buy five.

They're the best grade consumer-

f*ck!

Okay, okay, okay, okay!

Just breathe.

Alright. After school we go

to a print shop.

I buy the printers,

we have four or five running

and we keep on keeping on.

Y'all good?

Oh, my god!

What are you doing here?

Hey, I was just checking in.

Non-dominant index finger.

What?

Best finger to lose.

If someone's cutting off

one of your fingers,

and wants you to chose,

you pick that one.

I know it's a little crazy

because most people

would pick pinkie,

but apparently you use

your pinkie

for way more sh*t everyday.

Shouldn't you be going?

Study hard.

Becca, Becca, what the f*ck?!

- Hey, Z.

- Huh?! What?

Oh, sorry.

Are you okay?

Yeah.

I'm fine, yes.

Did you do it?

Um, sorry, what?

Did you do the syntax section

last night?

Uh, no. Um, I, I didn't.

I'm so sorry.

That's okay. I can just

do it tonight.

No, but I, it's fine.

It's my responsibility.

Um, and you have

practice tonight, so.

Uh, yeah, I do.

You still good to give

me a ride?

Uh-huh, yeah.

Zoe. Z breathe.

Um, sorry, I am just really

stressed out right now.

It's okay. Do you want

to talk about your day?

What did you have

for breakfast?

Breathe.

You okay?

Thanks, Sally.

No prob, okay?

These group projects

are my favourite.

Want one, babe?

No thanks. I can't eat

before practice.

Doesn't make any sense.

You need fuel.

Well, it makes me burp.

Gross.

Where'd you get those?

I checked your back seat

pocket for snacks.

You what?

I spend a lot of time

back here, Zo.

On the floor?

Sometimes.

There is just so much

wrong there.

Zoe, let's get boba

after we drop this guy off.

- This guy?

- There's no time.

There's always time

for a boba.

How was your day?

- Boring as hell.

- Lunch was-

Oh, oh, sorry.

No, B, you go.

You still coming tomorrow?

Right, babe?

Mmmhmm.

It's kind of a big deal.

- I said I'll be there. Okay?

- Okay.

Will your parents be

home after?

Uh, no. They're going

out for dinner.

Great.

Can you hold this?

Dude.

No, that's my bubble tea!

Wha!

Oh my

Your total is $1,040.62.

And how'd you like to pay?

- No, no, no

- Tap is not working.

I know, I know, okay.

It was a reflex.

Jesus.

Don't be all squirrelly.

Huh. It said your card

is declined.

That's not possible.

Definitely declined.

I must have gone over

my limit.

This was your idea.

You could always use

the print center.

It's self-serve.

Okay, fake IDs 202.

Today's lesson,

the mini hologram.

We f*cking hate

the mini hologram.

Blacklight ink.

Thank you, Aliexpress.

A hologram is just a parallax

of two images.

They're slightly askew

so it tricks your brain

into thinking that it's 3D.

Print one layer in

white blacklight ink,

the other in black.

Together, they're two halves

of one image.

It's not perfect,

but it's not bad.

Would it fool the DMV?

Probably not.

An overworked bouncer

with a flashlight probably.

- Done.

- Me too.

Use the blacklight ink

for the hologram,

regular ink for everything else

and then switch out.

This is all in theory,

of course.

I mean, I would never do

anything ill*gal.

Uh what was that?

I don't know.

Shut up, shut up, shut up.

Becca?

Die, die die!!!

Hi, again. You girls

need a hand?

What are you trying

to print?

Oh!

- Nothing, just, uh, photos.

- Mmmhmm.

It shouldn't make that noise.

It's not.

I'm new, actually.

Let me call a manager over.

Oh.

Hey, Geoff?

Oh, no.

No, Geoff, we don't need

What's the problem?

I have never seen a tray

like this before.

Hi, Geoff. We are fine.

What's with these trays?

Sam?

Is this the same Geoff you were

saying was a total d*ck?

What? I never said that.

No, no, no.

He didn't not,

not say that.

Sam? A moment?

You probably got

that guy fired.

So, look at place?

There is so much

more potential.

Oh, my god, B.

Trust me, I did him a favour.

We gotta go.

Hey, do they look okay?

Is the ink smudged?

Did we lose any, B?!

f*ck, what?!

I was counting!

They look fine!

I just need to make sure

we didn't leave any behind!

Oh? Did, did we?

I don't know,

let me count!

Okay, we're good.

We have 28 cards.

Okay, okay.

Well, print centre is out.

Yeah.

That sucked.

Yeah.

Just have to figure

something out.

Hey.

Hey, look at me.

Look at me.

Yeah?

It'll be alright.

Okay, we'll get there.

Yeah.

I gotta get home.

Uh, you just got here.

- Other stuff going on.

- Okay.

Wait

It is cold.

It's really not.

Just shut up.

Don't fuss.

- Thank you.

- Cool.

- Okay, bye.

- Bye. Love you.

Love you.

No.

No, no, no, no, no, no!!!!

Rebecca. Where the hell

are you?

I've called you like literally

13 times.

The dimensions on all the IDs

we printed are wrong, okay?

We are f*cked!

We are like one minute

to midnight,

nuclear f*cked, okay?

Call me back. It's Zoe.

At 9:02AM.

sh*t, girl.

Where is Ken?

Ken? Yeah nah, he wouldn't

want to bang you anyway.

Woah!

I'm not looking for Ken,

I'm looking for Rebecca.

Ken has idiot math with Rebecca

so where the hell is Rebecca?!

Woah.

That was badass.

Just hook smashed that guy.

We gotta put a bell on her.

B? I'm at Clem's thing

right now, okay?

I brought your stupid sign.

We have like 80 hours left,

okay?

I don't know what the f*ck

you're doing

but we really need to fix this,

okay?

I have to go now.

It's Zoe, by the way.

Okay, it's like around

6:16PM.

Woo! Go Clem!

- Hey.

- Hey.

Oh, yeah, woo, go Clem!

I mean, you're not like my Clem.

Like, I didn't, uh

- Yeah.

- Rebecca made this.

I figured.

She texted she was sending

a message.

You okay?

Hm? Yeah. Yeah.

I don't know.

Today was just kind of

important to me and

Thanks for coming, Z.

You're a good friend.

I gotta go find my parents.

Okay. Okay

Oh my god, you came!

Come on!

Lets take a picture

for my parents.

Uh, okay. Where are they?

They're not here. Smile!

Now, I am actually worried, B.

If you are dead, I swear

I am going to be so pissed.

It's physically impossible

for two people

to get these IDs done.

No, I decided.

I'm just going to go

to Spokane.

I'm gonna pack

my bags tonight.

I'm gonna get in the car.

Why are we screaming?

Oh. Yeah, about that.

Okay, I can explain.
