It feels rumbly
and tickly in my tummy.

upstairs together,

there's nothing

to be afraid of up there.Sounds like a plan.

a dinosaur upstairs...

Which there definitely isn't.

maybe I can keep it
for a pet.

a dinosaur up there.

there's no dinosaur upstairs.

We just have to go up there
together and investigate.

beside you the whole time

We'll check high and low,

and anywhere
a dinosaur might go.

[all laughing]

should we look?

No dinosaur!

[balloon pops,
air hissing]

[all shriek]

It's just a deflated
dinosaur floatie.

[all laughing]

The search must go on!

[laughing continues]

We're gonna get
that dinosaur, DD.

Hmm...Come out, come out!

[gasping]
Nothing under here.

Well, we came,
we searched,

and we have proved beyond
the shadow of a doubt

that there is absolutely,
indubitably, no dinosaur here.

That couldn't have been
what you heard earlier.

[all cheering]

You feel better now, DD?

[thunder crashes][meow]

It's okay, DD.

Come on, DD, we need
to find some windows.

I want to show you
something.

This way, DD.

DD, now that
we're by a window,

you can tell that the sound
isn't coming from up here.

It's coming from outside.

That's lightning, DD.

It can be part
of a storm, like thunder.

But, we're safe
inside Kinderwood,

so it can't hurt us.

[thunder crashing,
DD meows]

Don't worry, DD.

We're still right here
beside you.

[thunder crashes]

The lightning came first,
and then the thunder.

That means they're connected.

Oh!
When you see lightning,

cover your ears,
because the thunder

will come after it.

And then you won't be
so scared, okay?

kinda scary?

the sound of thunder
