Hello, Charlie! And what can we clean for you today?

After ten laps of the park, lengths of the pool,

and a mile bike ride,

my Athlete's outfit needs a bit of a clean.

That's a lot of exercise, Charlie!

I'm just warming up Lark! Track and field athletes like me

need to stay in tip-top condition for our competitions.

You can't beat feeling the race track beneath your feet,

hearing the roars from the crowd,

and crossing the finish line in first place.

-And we win gold medals too! -Wow!

I'm exhausted just thinking about it.

Now, let's get that outfit cleaned for you!

[triumphant fanfare]

Hello, my bubbly-buddies! What needs cleaning today?

It's an athlete's outfit, Suds.

It's Charlie's Rockets...

[crowd cheers]

[Harriet] ...versus Crafty Mr Croc's Crockets!

Only room for one athlete in my team... Me!

Final warm ups, Rockets!

Stretch, two-three... and... bend, two-three!

[loud thud]

Oops. [chuckles]

Are you okay, Charlie?

My team are too injured to compete!

Mr Croc's going to win everything!

[sniggering]

Of course, being in tip-top shape is important,

but a true athlete must always remember to focus.

[Harriet] And it's time for the first event!

-The Long Jump. -Ooh! I'd like to do that one!

Whoever jumps the furthest distance wins.

You may begin!

Allow me to show you how it's done!

[bees buzzing]

Those bees are so funny!

We need to focus, Milo.

Go for it Lofty!

A brilliant jump by Lofty!

He'll now have to do it again with the bar set even higher.

[crowd gasps]

[laughs]

[crowd cheering]

My verdict is... a draw!

[Harriet] That means a point each for both teams!

That's okay! We're still in the lead!

Not for much longer!

The next event is the sprinting race!

[gasps] My turn!

One more win, and the trophy's ours!

Leave it to me!

The first Athlete over the finish line is the winner!

Ready...

Steady...

[horn honking]

[exciting music]

[Milo giggles]

Croc's in the lead, Milo!

[gasps]

[cackling] We won! We won!

-Victory to Mr Croc! -[Milo sighs]

[Harriet] That's a win for Mr Croc,

which means it's Rockets , Crockets .

The final event is going to be a tie-breaker!

One lap of the race track and the winner takes the trophy!

Oh, it's gonna be me! It's gonna be me!

Milo will see about that, Mr Croc!

Me? I can't run again, Lofty.

Not after last time.

Being a track and field athlete is hard.

But you're really fast!

You'd have won the last race if those silly bees

-hadn't distracted you! -Those bees are funny.

You just need to ignore the bees.

Remember what Charlie said, a true athlete must...

Always remember to focus!

So this is it.

The final event.

The athletes are lining up one last time.

Ready... steady...

-[horn honking] -[exciting music]

And it's a strong start from Mr Croc. He's in the lead!

[chanting] Milo! Milo! Milo!

[Harriet] Oh, but here comes Milo.

He's speeding up! Can he catch Mr Croc?

Focus, Milo. Focus!

-[music slows down] -[inaudible]

[audio speed resumes]

[Harriet] Into the final bend. It's now or never for Milo!

-Yeah! -And the Rockets have done it!

[all cheering]

[crowd cheering]

I am pleased to announce

that the winners of this year's Milotown Epic Athletics

are judged to be...

The Rockets!

[cheering]

-We won! -You certainly did!

Top Athletics, team!

-And gold medals for everyone. -Yes!

And how did my little athletes get on?

Oh, Suds, it was brilliant.

We took part in an athletics competition!

We were doing okay,

but then Milo got distracted by some funny bees!

But for the last event, Milo remembered to focus...

and we won!

When I grow up, I think it would be amazing to be a...
