CARL: Yes. Me, Arugula, and Nico were flying kites in the

CARL'S MAMA: Let's go back to the part about Nico and

CARL'S MAMA: Nothing wrong with that! The thing with Nico
CARL'S MAMA: sounds like a new situation.
CARL: Yeah. Nico seemed really angry at me.
CARL'S MAMA: Aww, I'm sorry, honey. Maybe Nico's feelings
CARL'S MAMA: were hurt when you didn't help her when she
CARL'S MAMA: fell. In her mind, she might've thought you
CARL'S MAMA: didn't want to help.
CARL: But I did want to help her!
CARL'S MAMA: I know, I know you wanted to help.
CARL: I tried to ask what's wrong, and see how I could help

CARL'S MAMA: Yes. I think talking it out with Nico would

CARL'S MAMA: Well, help Nico understand why you reacted the
CARL'S MAMA: way you did, why you froze.
CARL: Like, tell her I'm autistic?
CARL'S MAMA: It's up to you.
CARL: But what if telling Nico makes her not want to be
CARL: friends with me anymore? She's already a little mad at
CARL: me.
CARL'S MAMA: Do you think that would happen? I mean, you've
