[Captain O] My name is Captain O,

I'm in charge of an organization made up of kids like these,

We investigate anything strange, weird,

Our job is to put things right again.

Oh, I like her.

Nice to meet you, my name is Onom.

It's short for Onomatopoeia.

How do you spell that?

-Just the way it sounds. -Cool.

You must be the famous Orly, the best agent in the world.

I'm definitely an Orli,

but the best agent Orli is another "Orly."

-[light dramatic music] -What?

Oh, I found it.

No time to explain.

We need to find Captain O so we can get it all sorted.

That could be a problem.

[both gasping]

[Onom] Oh man, I wish you guys told me you were both gonna

gasp at the same time; I would've loved to join in.

Onom, what's going on?

There's a creature on the loose in headquarters

called an Icy Mouse-y, and it's freezing things.

Captain O, wink if I got that right.

[bell chimes]

[Ozzie] This is terrible!

I think we should check in with Orwell.

He might know how to help.

That could also be a problem.

[air whooshing]

[both gasping]

Oh, missed it again.

What do we do?

We need to figure out where the Icy Mouse-y is headed next.

Ozzie and I can do that.

Maybe, probably. If we try really hard.

Works for me.

This is what the Icy Mouse-y looks like.

You can use this gadget to catch it

while I go run and hide.

What? No.

Onom, you need to get everyone to the safe room.

How?

Everyone is hiding and too scared to move.

Look at Opie.

I'm safe here, thanks.

See?

I have something that will help.

[bell chimes]

It's a book I put together

with information about every agent that works here,

listing all the things they really like.

With this, we can convince them to head to the safe room.

Watch this.

Opie, the safe room has nachos.

[Opie gasps]

I love nachos!

I'm on my way.

[Onom] Nice work, Ozzie. I'll take it.

[all] Good luck, everyone!

Hey, we all just said the same thing at the same time.

Did we all just become best friends for life?

[mouse squeaks]

We'll decide later. Go, go, go!

[dramatic music]

We can work here.

It's safe.

-Good call, partner. -Again, we are not partners.

Right, we're just working together.

Exactly.

-To solve an odd case. -Bingo.

-For Odd Squad. -Okay,

I see what you're doing.

Let's start with what we know.

The Icy Mouse-y froze the rooms

that Captain O and Orwell were in.

Maybe it's following a pattern.

Captain O was in room number two.

Orwell was in room number four.

That could be something.

I got it!

The Icy Mouse-y's counting by twos.

Follow me.

[suspenseful music]

[mouse squeaks]

[watch beeps]

First it froze room two, then four,

so the next room it'll strike is

-six. -Six!

[both shushing]

You'll need to lead the way since

you know headquarters so well.

Funny story about room number six,

it has an echo, but only when you say the word bananas.

Ozzie.

Less story, more creeping?

-Got it. -[dramatic music]

Room six is on the right!

[Ozzie] We made it before the Icy Mouse-y.

[panting] Great, now we'll be ready.

As soon as it comes around the corner,

we zap it with this.

-[mouse squeaks] -[ominous music]

It struck someplace else.

This is bananas! [echoing]

Do you hear the echo?

It's time to run again, isn't it?

-[dramatic music] -Come on, let's go.

[Ozzie gasps]

Agent Onaldo.

He is so good at football.

[Orli] Room eight? This makes no sense.

Let's look at the numbers again.

[watch beeps]

Two, four, eight.

It's not a counting-by-twos pattern,

it's a doubling pattern.

[Ozzie] Right, because if you double two, you get four.

[Orli] And if you double four, you get eight,

and the double of eight is sixteen.

Funny story, room was originally a bread room,

but then a bunch of birds found it and now it's just--

Crumbs?

No, empty.

Quick, let's go.

[dramatic music]

[Onom gasps]

Oh no, the Icy Mouse-y froze Osgood!

I'm not frozen.

Then why are you holding extremely still?

If the Icy Mouse-y thinks I'm frozen, it won't freeze me.

That's not how it works.

Trust me, you'll be safer in the safe room.

No, thank you.

What if I told you the safe room

had a table football pitch in it?

I love table football.

[light dramatic music]

Room , still not frozen.

Which means the Icy Mouse-y should be arriving

-any second now. -[Onom screams]

The Icy Mouse-y just hit room !

Woo, there's a really good part about Orwell in here.

Anyway, ahhh!

-Room ? -At least it's more data.

[gasps] You're a glass- half-full person like me.

I really hope the two of us can become pen pals

when this is all over.

Orli.

Right, back on track.

Let's go back to the lab and look at the data.

[light dramatic music]

I don't think we're any closer to catching the Icy Mouse-y.

The room numbers are all over the place--

, , , , , .

[Ozzie] How do we stop this thing?

I bet the other Orly would've known what to do.

I only came here with a ridiculous Towelinator gadget

and made a mess of everything.

Hey, don't beat yourself up.

Besides, you wanna hear about a mess?

One time Agent O'Keith decided to paint all the doors

in headquarters different colors.

He spilled paint everywhere--

yellow, blue, green, red, you name it.

Ozzie, that's it!

Maybe the Icy Mouse-y is following a color pattern.

What are the door colors of all the rooms that were frozen?

[light music]

The same colors as the creature.

[Orli] And check it out.

First it struck a yellow door, then blue, then green.

Then it repeats. Yellow, blue, green.

It's a pattern.

So the next room it'll strike is a room

with a yellow door.

Pulling up all remaining yellow doors in headquarters.

[computer beeping]

Uh oh.

[suspenseful music]

It's the safe room.

Is that the same safe room where

all the agents are hiding?

We need to hurry.

[tense music]

There's the safe room door!

And there's the Icy Mouse-y!

[mouse squeaks]

Aw, it's kinda cute.

-[air whooshes] -[Ozzie shrieks]

Not so cute.

-Quick! -Go, go, go!

-[mouse squeaks] -[light dramatic music]

[gadget zapping]

[Orli] It's way too quick.

[Ozzie] It's jumping all about! How do we stop it?

With my Towelinator.

I cover myself in a yellow towel

to distract the Icy Mouse-y from the yellow door.

Once it locks eyes on me, it should give you

enough time to zap it.

But what if it freezes you?

-[glass shattering] -Oh, it's there!

It won't.

I believe in us.

-[mouse squeaks] -[light dramatic music]

Nice Icy Mouse-y.

Is it safe?

-Totally. -It's having a nap.

It's really cute.

And I didn't realize it was Orli with an I

And the three of us have become such great friends
