The Court has in the past said
if the right of privacy
is to mean anything
it is the right of the individual
to make determinations for themselves.
We do not ask this court
to rule that ab*rtion is good.
We are here to advocate that the decision
as to whether or not a particular woman
will continue to carry
or will terminate a pregnancy
is a decision that should
be made by that individual.
And what about
the future of the ERA?
The ERA has no future.
