Then... let's get crafting!

We can make the crown
out of cardboard. Cutty-cutty!

We need to make
a lot of pointy peaks on the top,

like this.

And to make it shiny,

we're going to wrap the crown
in some tinfoil.

Wow! This is shiny.

I can see myself. Ah!

There. Now we get to decorate it.

Let's add some of these sparkly gems.

Just need some trusty glue.

Now, just tape the ends together, and...

you've got yourself a crown.

And to make it super special for CatRat...

He's one part CatRat, two parts craft,

and three parts a-meow-zing!

And today, I'm gonna teach you
how to make a CraftRat of your very own.

So, you're gonna need a craft stick,

a rectangular piece of paper,

two foam triangles,

a little white paint...

-...two buttons...
-[Hamster Kitty squeaks]

-...a little pink triangle for the nose...
-[Hamster Kitty squeaks]

...some pipe cleaners...

Oh!

...and a marker.

I know, I know, it's a long list.

-But trust me, it's gonna be worth it.
-[Hamster Kitties giggle]

We're gonna need some glue

and some tape.

Let's start with the face.

CatRat blue, of course.

And tape the foam triangles
to the top to make his ears.

To make his eyes,
paint on two semicircles.

And then...

add the buttons.

Two little pipe cleaners for the eyebrows.

-[Hamster Kitty squeaks]
-A triangle nose.

Then draw a nice big CraftRat smile.

Now, glue your handsome CraftRat head
to his crafty craft-stick body.

Whoa-h*-h*!

Is CraftRat looking good, or what?

But we're not done yet.

Two long pipe cleaners for the arms.

Twist those on.

And two more pipe cleaners for the legs.

But don't forget the tape tail.

It's the most important part.

Put these through your tape roll first.

Then twist them around the stick
to make the legs.

Hmm.

Check out that tail.

Ha-cha!

And there you have it,
your very own CraftRat.

[party horns honk]

The perfect crafty companion
to take him on a walk,

or to dinner,

or to a family vacation.

Just be sure to give him
a few hugs now and then.
