our favorite holiday!

I love Transylvanian tricks!

And the gags! And don't
forget about the pranks!

[fangs chattering]

fang gag!

Gets 'em every time!

really brings
the family together.

Oh, yes. A whole day of silly,
spooky surprises awaits us

after breakfast.

Ah, yes.
After breakfast,

where absolutely nothing
at all surprising or unusual
is going to happen.

-Or is it?
-[giggling]

Oh! Uh, bonjour!

How is my favorite
little ghoul today?

Uh, come, come, come.

Let me show you
to your seat, Madame.

[giggles] I don't know if I
should sit down, Chef Remy.

It is April Ghoul's Day,
you know.

Ohh! I-I-Is it?

Oh! Who has time
for such silly things

when a scrumptiously
scary breakfast awaits, huh?

You don't have
to tell me twice,
my good skeleton, sir.

-[ghostly shrieks]
-Aah! Aah!

[laughter]

Demi, it's just
an OooOoopie cushion!

Mama and Papa put one
on my chair last year.

Oh, please! I knew that!

I wasn't surprised at all!

No, no,
I just thought I, um...

you know, uh, left
the faucet running, yes!

-[chuckling]
-Yoo-hoo.

Your non-pranked breakfast
is served, batkins.

It smells monsterlicious,

but I think I know
what's under here.

You mean a mouthwatering,
well-balanced breakfast?

I'm starving!

-[snakes hissing]

Why did it have to be snakes?

-[laughter]

That's the same prank
from last year, too.

Only last year,
you were so surprised,

you fell through your chair.

Ah, you know,
April Ghoul's Day
never disappoints.

It's one of my favorite
Hauntley traditions.

But if all of the pranks
are the same as last year,

I don't think
they'll be very surprising.

We know them all.

I'm sorry, little Vee.

Now that we live so far
from Transylvania,

we didn't have a chance to go
to FAO Shrieks this year

for the latest magical pranks.

So we have to make do

with the same tricks
from last year.

Wait a second!

I know who doesn't
know our pranks!

My friends!

Poppy loves
our Transylvanian holidays,

and so does Bridget.

When she's
not covering her eyes.

I'll invite them over.

It'll be a scream!

[doorbell screams]

[everyone snickering]

[nervously]
For a very important
Transylvanian holiday?

It's not something
like Spider Day, is it?

[relieved sigh]

-[gasps]

-[laughing]

Of course there's

of April Fool's Day.

-[laughter]
-Yep!

And the best part is,
no clean-up!

but I've never played
a magical prank before.

[snickering]

for a long time!

some classic human pranks

that I bet even Gregoria's
never seen before.

any of those.

[giggling]

April Ghoul's Day ever!

-[squeaks]

our Under-the-Bed-Monster.

Under-the-Bed-Monster

a haunted home
could ever have!

Indeed! But Under-the-Bed
is my home,

and this bed seems
to have seen better days.

Uh, batty-boo,

the bed just collapsed
out of nowhere...

when I jumped on it.

You know I can't resist
a game of Fright Tag.

Yes, I do know that.

That bed is
over 600 years old.

Better it falls apart now

than when a guest
is sleeping on it.

But we do
have another guest
coming this evening,

which means we'll need
a new bed in a hurry!

But I've been living
under this bed for centuries.

I didn't really want
to move from our house
in Transylvania,

but if our family

Poppy used to wipe
all the goo off.

must be pretty foul by now.
