than my ice-cold slimesicles.

we aren't alike.
There are lots of things
that come easily to you,
but for me,
they take a lot of work.
But you're good
at everything.

when I learned I wasn't so good
at spookylele?
I tried to learn the hardest
song on the first day.
It did not go well.
That's when Gregoria first
got her stone earplugs.

the best at everything we do.
But every vampire learns
at her own pace.
It doesn't matter if it takes
you one day
or one year
to learn to surf,
or if you never
surf at all.
