"Double Double,
Halloween Trouble."

I'm so excited for you
to trick-or-treat with us, Vee.

Me too.

I even have a costume
this year.

Even I think it's scary.

I wonder what scares
a vampire.

[whimpers]

Ta-da!

[all]
Aw.

Aw. I mean, it's great.

I was just expecting
something scarier.

Pink bunnies
are scary to monsters.

I'm telling you, there's no way
paper could actually beat rock--

[both scream]

-Pink bunny alert!
-Somebody save me!

[Vampirina laughs]

Phew, it's just Vee
in a terrifying bunny costume.

Whoa, you scared us good.
Which we love.

-[doorbell rings]
-I wonder who that could be.

It's too early
for trick-or-treaters.

Ghastly greetings.

Don't forget to come
to the Boneyard Banquet tonight.

We're counting on you to
be the afterlife of the party.

The Boneyard Banquet
is this year?

What's the Boneyard Banquet?

Every hundred years,

Nanpire throws a Halloween
party in Transylvania.

It's a big deal
in the Hauntley family.

Oh, yeah.
There's portrait painting...

ooh, the scare parade,

and, of course, so much
delicious Transylvanian food.

Oh, that sounds so cool.

Does that mean you can't come
trick-or-treating with us, Vee?

The Boneyard Banquet is a pretty
important Hauntley tradition.

I'd better ask my parents.

Ah! Oh, batkins.
It's you.

Your scary bunny costume
will be perfect

for trick-or-treating
tonight.

Thanks. What's your costume,
Papa?

Apparently, if your mother wears
this, we turn into a horse.

I don't know if it's some kind
of spell or enchantment,

but I'm excited
to find out.

Oh! Boris, dear,

are you wearing those
strange brown pants

to the Boneyard Banquet?

The Boneyard Banquet?

Has it been 100 years
already?

I thought it's been only 99.

That's what I came
to ask you.

I didn't realize
Nan's party was tonight,

and I already made plans
to go trick-or-treating.

Oh, that is a problem.

But the choice is simple.

-Go to the banquet.
-Stay and trick-or-treat.

Huh, we usually don't disagree
on family decisions, batty-boo.

How can you not want to go

to your mother's banquet,
spook'ums?

We need to make time
for this special,

once-in-a-century tradition.

[Boris]
But, Oxana, darling,

Pennsylvania
is our home now.

We need to make
new traditions here.

Hmm. Maybe we should ask
the rest of the family.

What? This is the one night

I can serve my human-friendly
candies.

Yes, trick-or-treating
is the best.

Pennsylvania it is.

Maybe you don't remember how big
a deal the Boneyard Banquet is,

and how much I rock
the scare parade.

Yes, then Nan's party
is the way to go.

Yes, Transylvania for sure.

-But our costumes.
-And my candies.

What about Transylvania?

And family?

Oh, no, it's a tie.

[sighs]
There's only one solution.

We'll have to split up.

Split up the family?
On Halloween?

I wouldn't want to make your
father miss trick-or-treating.

And I don't want your mama
to miss the Boneyard Banquet.

So you can choose where
you'd like to spend Halloween.

Yes, it's totally
up to you.

What'll it be, batkins?

How can I choose between
Pennsylvania and Transylvania?

I love them both.

Oh, I wish there was something
I could do to help.

But all I have is this.

Transylvanian travel powder?

Demi, this is perfect.

It is? Well, what a great
coincidence.

How is it perfect, exactly?

I can use it to poof

between Transylvania
and Pennsylvania.

That way, I'll get to enjoy
both Halloween celebrations.
