[Vampirina] "Vamp-iversary!"

-I found the ribbon!
-I've got the wrapping paper!

And I found the bow.

Or I should say, the bow found me.

Oh, I just love wrapping presents!

It seems you love
wrapping everything. Even us!

[giggle] Sorry about that.

I get a little excited
when it's someone's birthday!

[gasp]

Remind me whose birthday it is?

It's no one's birthday, Demi.

It's Mama and Papa's anniversary.

We're celebrating the day
Boris and Oxana got married.

Their big 4-0-0!

I can't believe
they got married 400 years ago.

Seems like just yesterday
they were saying, "I boo."

It's a really special day for them,

which is why I wanted to
give them the perfect gift.

-And I think I found it.
-Whoa!

This is the painting of Boris and Oxana's
first dinner together.

Oh, so sweet.

[coughs] And so dusty.
Even for our house.

-Do you think they'll like it?
-Oh, please, are you kidding?

A portrait of their first date?
They're gonna love it!

And finished.

I can't wait to see the look
on their faces when they see it.

And I can't wait
to get this bow off my head.

-A hand please?
-[giggles] Here you go.

Morning, Mama! Morning, Papa!

-Morning, Batkins.
-Hi, little Vee.

Where are you going?

I was just, uh, going to get some

new air de-fresheners
for the... the basement.

We're all out of Wet Werewolf
and Murky Swamp.

[nervous chuckle]
It barely stinks down there at all.

I'm, uh, well, you see, I'm, uh...

running out to take my cloaks
in for dry cleaning!

Yep! That's what I'm doing.

Uhh, what cloaks?

Uh... [chuckles] Oops!

Here they are! Well, be back soon.

Muwa! Have fun, you three!

OK, bye!

-[door shuts]
-That was strange.

-Stranger than normal!
-You could say that again.

They didn't even give us a chance
to wish them a happy anniversary!

Huh. If I didn't know better,

I'd say they forgot
about the whole thing.

[gasps] You're right!

Mama and Papa must've
forgotten their anniversary!

Are you saying zere are no
guests of honor?

-Afraid you missed them.
-Aww...

But I didn't even get to serve zem
zeir anniversary boo-berry parfaits!

And I must say they
would've just loved them.

Mmm... Delish!

We didn't get to give them
our gift either.

Yeah, and we wrapped it perfectly!

Almost perfectly.

We can't let Mama and Papa
miss their special day.

We gotta remind them what
their anniversary is all about.

And how do you propose we do that?

By giving them a really big gift!
Even bigger than this.

[gasps] Like a dragon?

No, but what if,

instead of giving them a picture
of their first date, we recreate it?

And when they come home, it'll remind them
why their anniversary is so important.

-Perfect!
-A romantic dinner for two?

Sounds sappy and sentimental.

And downright adorable. I'm in.

This ghostly host is at your service!

And you will certainly need my
impeccable culinary expertise.

But how are we supposed to know
what their first dinner was like?

I think we have everything
we need to know right here.

My parents will be back soon,
so we don't have a lot of time.

First thing we've gotta
figure out is what to cook.

Leave zat to za professional.

Mm... Uh-huh. Just as I thought.

-What is it?
-Exploding egg soufflé.

Tell me that's easier to make
than it sounds.

Great goblins, no!

It is za most difficult and messy

of all the Transylvanian cuisines.

Only a truly gifted, inventive
and all-around magnifique chef

could pull off such a feat!

Luckily, I am all of those things.
So, I will try.

While Chef Remy's cooking,
we should set the table.

Purple tablecloth, yellow flowers,
plates and silverware.

-This should be easy.
-Hold on a second...

Uh-oh. This isn't gonna be easy at all.

We have to set the table
on the ceiling!

They were eating at the Bat Cave,

Transylvania's best
ceiling-top diner for vampires.

But how are we supposed to get
the table up there?

Leave that to me!

"Towards the ceiling
Away from the ground

Make everything here
Go flipping and..."

[stutters] Excuse me.

"Go flipping and..."

[grunts] Just hang on there.

Pages are stuck together!

"Upside down!

"Flipping and upside down!" Yes.

Too late! You just made
everything start flipping!

[gasps] Quick! Grab something!

[yelling]

They won't stop flipping!

Whoa! We don't have time for this.

Boris and Oxana will be back soon.

Whoa! We still need flowers.

Don't worry! I'll get this
all flipped around.

See what I did there?

Oh, OK, not the time for jokes!

-Vee, you get the flowers.
-You sure?

Yeah, We got everything
under control...

[gasp] There!

At least this should be easy.

-Huh?
-[flowers crying]

Uh-oh, spoke too soon.

It's OK. Don't cry.

Think about something happy.

Like, uh, an ice scream sundae.

At least we didn't make it worse.
[chuckles]

-OK, we made it worse.
-Any luck with the flowers?

[crying]

Oh! They're so pretty!

And so... sad.

-What kind of flowers are these?
-Weeping Wisterias.

They cry. That's what they do.

We're gonna need a bigger vase.

Great news!
After meticulous preparation,

I've finally completed
ze exploding egg soufflé!

[gasps]

-Look out!
-[gasps]

Oh, no!

[groans]

Ah, looks like you got some,
uh, egg on your face. [chuckles]

I'm aware.

Now we have no flowers,

no dinner and no dining table
to put it on!

Mama and Papa's spooktacular anniversary
dinner is a spooktacular mess.

Well, not everything's a mess.

There's still dessert.

You made cupcakes, too?

Of course, I did!

Oh! What do we do?

[chuckles] Back there.

-Or... anywhere...
-[clattering]

-What was that?
-I did not hear anything.

Whoo! You really know how
to spin a gargoyle!

And one, and two! Oh, you simply float
across the dance floor!

Has there ever been a more
enchanting day?

Oh! Have I told you za joke

about why za skeleton

Aww, Batkins, that's so sweet.

But we didn't forget our anniversary.

-You didn't?
-Of course not.

I've been trying to find a gift
for your mother all day!

And I've been trying to find
something for your father.

So, that's why you both

I spent hours trying to find

when, it turns out, the perfect gift
was waiting right here.

But all I did was make a big mess.

That's not a very good gift.

You spent all day trying to do
something special for us.

That's the best gift you could get us.

Oh! You are perfect!

That being said, it looks like you need
a little help with the cleanup.

Stop the table clean the floor,

put everything back

You did it, Mama!

-Huh?
-What?

Uh, does someone
want to explain to me

why I'm nuzzling this coat rack?

And why am I holding this vase?

Ooh! Besides the fact
that I look devilishly handsome in it.

[giggles] It looks like
everything's back to normal.

Oh, you are perfect! Just perfect!

[giggle] I think.

In that case, should we eat?

Ooh! That's a terror-ific idea.

And it looks like
we have plenty for everyone.
