[Vampirina] "Vamping Trip."

[sighs] I can't believe
we finally get to go

on our first camping trip in Pennsylvania.

And Poppy and her family get to come, too.

Can't wait to show them how we do camping.

Or should I say, "vamping".

Remember our family vamping trips
back in Transylvania?

The dark, dreary forest,

the spooky howling of the wolves.

[sighs] It was so relaxing.

-[Wolfie barks]
-[Vampirina giggles]

Speaking of wolves,

it's okay for Wolfie
to come with us, right?

As long as he doesn't
get into any of the milk.

We don't want him transforming
into a werewolf

and scaring anybody.

-[Wolfie barks]
-[Boris] That's a boy.

Hey, watch where you're
tossing that thing.

Whoops! [chuckles]
Sorry, Gregoria.

Sorry, Demi.
Forgot you two were back there.

You guys are coming, too?

[giggling] Yay!

Are you kidding?

A weekend in the outdoors
surrounded by rocks?

Of course we're coming.

Oh, we wouldn't miss it.

I haven't been camping since, uh,
oh, last century.

You two just need to make sure

you stay hidden from the Peeplesons.

-[Edna] Yoo-hoo!
-[both gasp]

Hauntleys!

[Vampirina] Hey, Poppy.

Are you all done packing?

I think so.

Thanks for inviting us
to come camping, by the way.

We've never been before.

You're gonna love it.

There's so much fun stuff
for all of us to do together.

I am really looking forward
to getting out there

in the great outdoors.

There aren't a lot of bugs out
where we're going, are there?

I don't like the creepy crawlies.

You don't?

Some of my best friends
are creepy and crawly.

[Vampirina] I mean...

I'm sure you'll be fine in your tent.

[Edgar] This is the perfect
opportunity for me

to get a picture of the elusive Bigfoot.

Bigfoot?

He's kind of like a big ape
who lives in the forest.

[Edgar] No one's ever taken
a picture of him before,

so if I get one,
it'll make my web show a hit!

-[horn honks]
-Come on, Vee!

The haunted forest awaits!

At least that's what we used
to say in Transylvania.

Oh! I'm so excited!

See you at the camp site.

Ah, that oughta do it.

The perfect vamping set up
for a good night's sleep.

Wow, it's so beautiful out here.

That's what I love about camping.

-The spooky trees, the hoots of owls.
-[owl hooting]

And, you know, the beautiful sunset, too.

And by the end of the trip,

we all have cool stories to share.

Don't you love it, Edgar?

-Uh-huh. It's all so beautiful.
-[game chiming]

Edgar, you wanna hang up
your sleeping bag?

[Vampirina] We can do it together.

I'll show you how.

[Edgar] Uh, I'm good.

I'd rather sleep right side up

like I normally do.

Plus, I gotta get my gear ready
for Bigfoot.

Filming is all about finding
the best angles.

Oxana, would you like me
to put this bag in the tent?

[Oxana gasps] Wait, Edna!

[groans] Ooh, what's in there,
a pile of rocks?

[laughs] Oh.

Why did you bring
a garden gnome statue with you?

Oh, well, you know,

you want your camp site
to feel just like home.

Right. Hmm.

Who's she calling a garden gnome?

I think you'd make a dreadfully cute one.

My horns are charming, aren't they?

All right, now that we're all set up,

who wants to tell stories
around the campfire?

-Ooh, ooh, me!
-Me too!

Me three!

[Boris] And when the family returned home

their house had been painted

all pink!

-Aah!
-Whoa!

[game beeping]

Ugh, a pink house?

Now that's what I call a scary story.

Can you imagine?

You really spooked us, Papa.

It was a great story.

Huh, Edgar?

-[game beeping]
-Edgar?

Huh? Sorry, wasn't listening.

I was making sure my phone is ready

to take that first picture of Bigfoot.

He'll probably be out, now that it's dark.

It is ghoulishly dark, isn't it?

Who wants to go stargazing?

Yeah! Ooh, stargazing is the best.

We have to check it out.

You can see so many more stars
out here than in the city.

-Count me in.
-Not me.

I'm going to unpack
my lighting gear in the tent.

Wait, but, Edgar,
we always do stargazing together.

Unless it's Bigfoot-gazing, I'm out.

-I'll stay here with Edgar.
-[Wolfie barks]

[panting, sniffing]

And your "wittle" puppy.

[barking]

Can I still go stargazing?

Of course, just stay close
to Oxana and Boris

and don't wander.

I was hoping we could all
stargaze together.

It's a vamping tradition.

Cheer up, Vee.

Let's show Poppy
some Transylvanian constellations.

-Okay.
-Transylvanian constellations?

What are those?

[Oxana] And that group of stars over there

is called the little skeleton.

Wow, I didn't know there were
vampire constellations too.

Yep, and they're all part
of the vamping experience.

[Poppy] What's in the jar, Mrs. Hauntley?

A fresh batch of bed crumbs

for our next monster guest, Matilda.

She's a snugglelot.

They love the dark,
and only travel at night,

so the glowing crumbs
will lead her straight under the bed.

-Did you just say "under the bed"?
-[Oxana] Of course!

But snugglelots don't sleep there

[Bridget] So, I was like,

there's totally a snugglelot under my bed.

So was there?

No, I don't think so.

I looked and I didn't see anything.

Snugglelots don't just crawl
under anyone's bed.

They need a bread crumb trail

Right, so I figured

She probably just took a nap
along the way.

Those under-the-bed monsters

And the trail leads her
right to us, after all.

It's not like she could've gone to sleep
