Full Moon Fever (2023)

Post by bunniefuu »

Hey James.

Richard.

Franny.

The law's here.

Hey what's going on up in the sky here?

We're looking for stars.

Stars?

You mean like UFOs huh?

Those little green men eh?

Yeah.

There's supposed to be

a meteor shower tonight.

Meteor shower?

Yeah.

Bring your umbrella?

Should have for the bugs.

Yeah the bugs are a little bad too.

Hey ahh, the park's

going to be closing at dusk.

Just want to let you know about that.

Okay?

We get one night out.

Yeah, how do you expect us

to see meteors in the daylight?

Don't they run them on TV

you know the next day

or something like that? Highlights?

That way you don't

have to wait up all night.

Hey...

What'd you think of the Knights last night?

That game? Huh?

The Knights suck!

They suck? Okay.

Defense is terrible.

All right.

Hey see you guys later.

Be good.

Take it easy.

I'm gonna have to take this in the car.

The bugs are terrible.

Yeah.

I think I saw one.

Yeah, definitely not as clear

as I thought it was gonna be though.

No but you know it's

really nice to have this time

with you.

I love it.

It's a good thing

your mom took the kids

for the night.

I know, so sweet.

We just get one night. One night!

Is this the same place

like 15 years ago where we?

Yep.

That's why I thought it'd be a

good idea to come here.

So did you bring anything

like... 15 years ago?

That I did.

What?

Break it out!

All right.

Nice!

There she is.

Fire it up!

Definitely be seeing stars after this one.

Oh yeah.

Well, good evening once again.

How you doing?

Richard.

Good to see you, Franny, James.

You know I told you the park's closing.

I can give you about ten minutes.

I mean they're beautiful sh**ting stars

and all that.

But ah, it's time to go home.

Ten minutes.

All right?

All right.

All right.

Drive safely. Have a good night.

All right.

You too.

10-4.

Go Knights!

Jeez.

Now you know why

they call Richard's, d*ck's.

Yeah for sure.

Man I can't believe Richard

was such a d*ck tonight.

I mean...

now we have to leave.

I don't even think we're gonna be able to

see any meteors.

I just wanted to do this one thing.

Yeah.

It's such a beautiful night.

I know. It really cleared up.

I just want like 15 more minutes.

Maybe just a minute.

Oh my gosh are you kidding me?

We aren't doing... we're leaving

all right. We're leaving.

No!

No!

No!

Oh my...

Dispatch,

dispatch,

we have a 10-13 on Mountain Road.

On Mountain Road.

It's a 10-13.

Come on Richard, 10-13?

We've been getting gagged all night.

We've been getting gagged to death.

No, no, you don't know what death is.

I'm serious, this is it, this is a 10-13.

Dispatch, now Mountain Road.

10-4 units on the way.

Units being dispatched.

Richard out.

Hey, Hunter, how you doing?

Hey, what do you say, Art?

Well, isn't it a little early for

Halloween decorations?

Well, Halloween's only a

little more than a month away.

I guess so, I mean, time just flies

in spite of the whole

pandemic and quarantine.

How are you handling it all?

I'm losing my mind, man, it's like

Groundhog Day over

and over and over again.

How are the girls doing?

Jackie went back to school maybe four or

five weeks ago, and

she's absolutely loving it.

And...

uhhh...

Jenny passed away.

I lost her.

What?

This is like shocking, what happened?

It was complications of the virus.

Oh, man, I'm so sorry to hear this,

I don't know what to say.

If I could help you with anything

please just let me know,

I'm right down the street,

all right?

All right, man, be well.

Give my love to the wife.

Take care, Art.

All right, be well.

I'll see you around.

Hey, Jackie-kins,

how are you, sweetheart?

Hey, Dad, I'm doing good, how are you?

I am doing fantastic

now that you've called.

So tell me, how is college life,

dormitory life treating you?

You've been there

almost a whole month already.

I got very lucky,

let's just put it that way.

The people on my floor are very loud, but

my roommate's like the

quietest person ever.

She's studying for some big test tonight

and was yelling at me

that I was too loud,

so I decided I'd call you instead.

She said something about muscles and I

was like, yeah, I'm not

that interested in finding out.

Thank you anyway.

I miss you.

I miss you too, Dad.

I know you're super excited about your

English class, so tell me all about it.

My English teacher is a psychopath, but

besides that, it's going great.

He has this obsession about talking about

the ending of Romeo

and Juliet and analyzing

why they picked the certain

ways they chose to go out.

I don't know, he's just a whack job.

I've got a question for you though.

Yes?

Are you doing okay?

Things have been kind of crazy

and

I haven't had the chance to call you, so

how has this been treating you?

COVID and stuff.

I'm not going to lie to you, it's a

little lonely around here, but I've been

a good daddy, I promise.

I've been wearing my

masks everywhere I go.

I've been socially distancing.

I mean, I stay 30 feet away from everybody.

I hope you're behaving out in college.

Oh yeah, I am.

I've bought like 20 masks

Since this started, I have a whole shelf

in my closet just devoted

to different color masks.

And my teachers think I'm kind of nuts

because I wear a red

sweater and I'll have a red mask

and they're like, you're really too color

coordinated for this.

And I'll be like, yes, yes, I am.

Well, so as we both know, it's our

favorite month, October.

Oh yeah.

This morning I was going

through some old pictures

and I found that one of you.

You must have been, I don't know,

five or six years old

and you had your witches costume on

and you were standing in

front of that giant jack O' lantern

Do you remember that?

Oh yeah, I totally remember that one.

And this morning after looking through

those pictures, I found the old jack and

I put it up in the front yard.

I couldn't help but think

about you the whole time.

That's so awesome.

Unfortunately, my roommate,

is a stick in the mud

and was yelling at me because I was playing

my Halloween music too loud.

And then I decided I was going to carve

a pumpkin and leave it

outside her part of the room

and she was not very

happy about that either.

I was like, this is what you get for

ruining my Halloween mojo.

She was like, Christmas is better and I'm

like, you need to get a new roommate.

Oh wow.

So will you be able to

come join me for Halloween?

Oh absolutely,

I already made plans for that.

Have you been taking

your exercise walks though?

You've got to be good

for the trick or treating.

No worries.

I've been...

walking, I don't know,

three to five miles every night,

doing the right thing,

staying in shape,

you have nothing to worry about.

Wow, when I was doing it with you,

we were only at three and I

thought I was going to keel over.

I know.

I guess it's all the woods.

That's because you held me back.

All there is here is cows

as far as the the eye can see,

there's just grass and cows.

It's not as fun to walk around here

even though the campus is beautiful.

It's just like, okay, there's a lake.

Everyone's seen the lake.

Okay, there's like four cows

that constantly stop by,

but like, it's just that.

There's not a lot of

like walking trails here.

It's not as wooded as by where we live

and that's really a shame.

I love you, pal.

I love you too, dad.

I miss you.

I miss you too.

Now I'm going to go catch some more Z's.

Make sure you call me again soon.

I will.

I love you, pal.

I love you too, dad.

Bye.

Oh, hey, Hunter.

How you doing, brother?

My man Jeff.

How's life treating you?

How you doing, brother?

Good, good.

So we got something

really special for you.

We found it.

What do you got?

Mr. Hush, 66,

the first appearance of Stark.

We looked high and low for you, man,

but we finally came through.

You know what's sad?

I absolutely adore this series,

but I think I'm the only

person on the planet who likes

Mr. Hush comic books.

Why do you think it was so hard to find?

What do I owe you, brother?

40 bucks, man.

Deal.

Family discount.

Thank you, brother.

So how about Jackie?

How's she doing?

She is k*lling it in college.

She's got a 4.0 and I'm a

very, very proud dad.

Yeah.

Well, when's the next

time we're going to see her?

She's going to come up for Halloween

because as you know,

I am a nut for Halloween.

Of course we know.

And even though she's in college,

I'm going to force the poor kid

into going trick or treating with me.

Oh, fantastic.

Well, let her know.

We have the new 38 merch just came out.

Fantastic.

She's going to be super thrilled.

Take care, brother.

Be well.

Be well, buddy.

ROARRR!

Yawning.

How the f*ck did it heal so quickly?

What the f*ck?

I only wanted to love you more than

Anyone I ever loved before

But one plus one has

an answer I can't find

Don't worry babe I'm closin' my mind

Where's love now

Fallin' down a mountain side

Where's love now

Spinnin' in the dark

Where's love now

Out of touch out of time

Where's love now

It's like walking on a land mine

Circling whirlpool of emerald water

Lifting me up or dragging me under

Resolves and sparkles

it may never stop flowin'

The question is just

where is my heart going

Where's love now

Fallin' down a mountain side

Where's love now

Spinnin' in the dark

Where's love now

Out of touch out of time

Where's love now

It's like walking on a land mine

Is love something

you find along the way

Should it be searched for everyday

If you find it treat it well, cos

It could explode like a live bombshell

Where's love now

Where's love now

Where's love now

Where's love now

Where's love now

Where's love now

Fallin' down a mountain side

Where's love now

Spinnin' in the dark

Where's love now

Out of touch and out of time

Where's love now

Just like walking on a land mine

The winter is moving in Hunter

and your gonna hurt real bad.

Your soul ain't pure anymore.

Don't fight what you have become.

Just let it run it's course.

Hunter,

Why were you not there?

What do you mean?

When I died?

You wouldn't let me near you.

Oh.

It's just awful.

But even though you weren't there,

I felt your presence.

I feel you always.

Your triumphs, your losses,

your pain.

It's all a part of me now.

I miss you so much.

I know you do.

And I miss you too.

But you need to know,

none of this is your fault.

What?

You weren't marked.

You weren't cursed.

You're just a victim of

bad circumstances.

But you do need to deal with this now.

How?

You need to come home to me.

And leave Jackie?

There's nothing you can do for her now.

All it could do is cause her pain.

Do you remember when we went to the George

together for the first time?

I do. I do.

I remember the carriage ride

all around the lake.

And the breakfast place that was amazing.

But don't change the subject.

You know what you need to do.

I know.

I love you, Hun.

But please,

stop your misery.

Before you hurt someone.

I love you.

But I'm not sure if I can.

I think she's gonna like this.

Ha, Ha, Ha!

Jackie?

Jackie?

Jackie!

Jackie.

Jackie!

Jackie.

Why?

Why are you running?

What's up, Doc?

Hey,

it's been 35 years,

you can drop the doctor.

Call me Larry.

I don't know,

lately doctor seems much more fitting.

What the hell did you

take your mask off for?

We're outside,

it's beautiful outside, there's fresh air,

the mask's driving me crazy,

I think we're going to be okay.

So how are you?

Well,

Jackie went off to college as you know.

And I'm really, really lonely.

And

as I told you over the phone,

I got attacked by a dog or something

it was big, man,

big!

Did you get checked out?

No, it's funny though,

I had a really, really bad bite mark.

It's healing really, really quickly.

But

I don't know,

I'm feeling feverishly lately.

And I've been having these really, really

horrific nightmares.

I don't know what's the matter with me,

it's like I'm losing my mind.

You know, you've been through a lot.

I know you're missing your daughter

and that's only natural.

As well as missing.

Don't go there.

We both know.

When you lose the love of your life,

you're almost never recover.

Enough about me.

How have you been?

I've been good.

I've been good.

It's been very trying times.

Most of my clients are,

well, they're all virtual now, but

concerned for you.

We haven't seen each other,

we haven't talked that much.

And this whole episode you had with this

animal is pretty freaky, man.

It's horrifying.

It seems like I've been,

having a real bad string of luck lately

It's very important to,

try to remember to

take care of yourself.

I know that's not easy with all

that's on your mind,

but I can't articulate enough.

I'm concerned.

Being alone,

really takes a lot out of you.

And I'll tell you,

these nightmares I'm having,

they're so horrific.

And it's almost embarrassing

because it's not like,

it's not like nightmares,

they're not like normal nightmares,

they're like nightmares of...

monsters.

I'm a middle-aged man and I'm having

nightmares about monsters, damn it.

They're so real.

Extremely vivid, are they?

Yeah.

And it's not even like,

dealing with the loss that I dealt with

it's like,

dealing with,

the unknown, the darkness.

They're so horrifying.

Well, there's nothing more frightening

for any of us than the unknown.

And you've been through a lot, brother.

I'm concerned, but between

the attack and your mourning,

I'm very thankful she's

coming home for Halloween at least.

It is good to keep yourself busy

and around other people.

Sometimes we can't,

we're not a good barometer,

for ourselves

to see how we're doing

when you spend a lot of time alone.

It's just, you need feedback,

especially from someone you trust.

I tell ya, Doc,

I'm blessed to have a friend like you.

I don't know where I'd be.

If I didn't have somebody to talk to.

You have to promise me if it gets really

crazy for you that you're

going to reach out to me

anytime, any way, anyhow, please.

We can't go through these things alone,

and you don't have to.

Thank you, brother.

You should have never come here.

This is what she really wants.

Go, go while you still can!

Good night, Mr. Chaney.

What's the matter?

You will lose control.

And people will get hurt.

Why would you do this? Why?

Why would you do this?

Look at what you've done.

Look at what you've done to me.

ROAARRR!

Dad!

You know, you really should do it.

Do what?

End it all, throw in the towel.

Cue up the fat lady.

You shut up.

And you, leave me alone.

Drink some drain cleaner.

Or take all the pills

in the medicine cabinet.

Or perhaps you can clench your

blockbuster between your

teeth and like the fuse.

Oh, that is great.

It'll be quick and painless.

Or maybe put a tiny paper cut on your

nose and hang yourself upside down.

You know, you two

have empty heads.

I have no idea why in the world,

I would listen to either one of you.

You can go up to high point

and jump off the cliff.

I would never do that.

Can someone get this

f*cking fly off my face?

In the end, everyone who

loves you is going to suffer.

And your skin will burn

and it'll feel like it's falling off.

That would make for one

hell of a Halloween night.

You poor b*stard.

It sure is beautiful here.

So are you going to help me

carve the pumpkin tonight?

Of course.

I always do, don't I?

You gonna go trick or treating

with me tomorrow?

Dad...

I'm a freshman in college.

Hmm!

Fine.

I guess I'll go if you really want me to.

I mean, I do kind of enjoy it.

I love you, Jackie.

I love you too, Dad.

Do you think that we can come back

later tonight so I can take some

pictures of the full moon?

Absolutely.

Jackie.

Yeah, Dad?

Are you ever going to come down and

cut this damn pumpkin with me?

It's not going to carve itself.

Yeah, totally, Dad.

Hi, Dad.

Hey, pal.

Is that Mom's silver letter opener?

Yeah, it is.

I dug it up because

it makes me think of her

to be honest with you,

I got that for her,

maybe two or three years

before you were born.

Oh, wow. That's really pretty.

I made virtually nothing back then, and

to get us something silver

was a big deal at the time.

So, ready to carve the pumpkin?

Oh, sorry, Dad.

Professor Dan is texting me again.

Hey, are you okay?

What's wrong?

Calm down, Dad.

What happened?

C'mon.

Breathe.

Calm down.

I'm here.

I'm here.

I'm sorry.

No, no, it's okay.

Just calm down.

It's okay.

Calm down. See, everything's okay.

Calm down.

I'm sorry.

It's okay. It's okay.

Listen to me.

You go out

and you go on your hammock

and take a nap.

I know you love your hammock, okay?

Okay.

I'll go get us dinner.

I love you.

It's okay, Dad.

It's okay.

It's okay.

Mom loved this.

I'm gonna hold on to it.

Aaaahhhhh!!!!

Call Violet.

Hey, honey.

Yeah, I'm on my way.

I'll be there in like half an hour.

No, I didn't get the Halloween candy.

I'll grab it in the morning.

Okay, all right.

I'll be home in 10 minutes.

I'll cut through the park.

Okay?

Love you.

Bye.

Oh, sh**t.

I should call Dad.

Hey, Dad.

Help me.

Dad, this isn't funny.

Who is this?

Help me.

Dad?

Dad?

Help me.

Help me.

Dad?

ROAARRR!

Crap.

He was like a fan of his,

as much as everyone else.

Jeff!

Jeff!

Jeff.

Calm down.

Jackie!

What's going on?

I can't get a hold of

my dad and I'm scared.

Catch you later, Jeff.

Take care Rob.

Can you call the sheriff?

This is serious.

Listen, it's Goosey Night.

The sheriff's going to be chasing kids

blowing up pumpkins.

No, this isn't like that.

My dad's actually in trouble.

I promise.

You know, it's his favorite holiday.

He could be running a prank.

He's not like that.

He always tells you

when he does these things.

Calm down.

Calm down.

I'll take care of everything.

Jackie, you really

have to just calm down.

Calm down.

Really relax.

Okay, good.

I'm going to take care of

anything and everything, okay?

Okay.

HOWWWLLLL!

Okay, listen.

Go in the back.

Somebody's about to learn about regret.

Come on...!!!

Dad?
