and our special guest is James Reynolds,

forensic psychology instructor

of Austin M. Lohr High.

- [James] Thanks, Dave.

It's an honor to be here.

- [Dave] First of all,

what does forensic psychology entail?

- [James] Forensic psychology

can be perceived as a crossing

between psychology and criminal justice.

At a high school level,

our students learn about

criminal law in the basics

within psychology to conduct

an investigative procedure.

- [Dave] Well, I do understand

that you're instructing a project focused

on the Angela Banks case for

your students this semester?

- [James] Correct?

From several choices,

my students voted to do

a group study of Angela's

and the other possible

related victims cases.

- [Dave] Well, I can

understand their fascination.

Devoted listeners a year

ago, several school employees

and a cheerleader were brutally m*rder*d

and their bodies were

discovered on the campus

the following Monday morning.

I hear no evidence was found, James.

- CSI investigators

found no usable evidence

or DNA on the bodies, the clothing,

or in the area surrounding the victims.

- So question.

How will this assignment work

with so little evidence

for your students to go on?

I mean, professionals

couldn't solve the case.

What do you expect from your kids?

- Oh, they're not totally

not expected to solve it.

It's an exercise to teach them the science

and methods behind crime investigation.

- Well, it definitely sounds very serious

and it sounds very real.

And I do envy them for having

such a devoted instructor as yourself.

Assaulted in her home's bathroom.

faculty members.

And what's the motive?

- I was abandoned as a baby

about your biological mother for that?

for giving me up and must have loved me.

That's when I met Christine.

- So based off the information

that I was personally able

it was someone definitely

to be able to overpower

I mean, he was a psycho

k*ller and he was Black.

- Yeah, but he was never found guilty

Besides, most serial K*llers were white.
