01x03 - Gem-A-Go-Go

Post by bunniefuu »

In the cold Gray hours of early dawn, an

army of armed guards escort an armored

truck through the city streets.

Destination the National Museum.

On arrival, the package is rushed inside.

Put it on the table, guard.

Well, there it is, gentlemen. The most

expensive jewel in the world, the Tura

Lura Topaz. Safe at last in this

burglar-proof display case. This is a

great day for the museum, gentlemen.

Hey, who turned the lights off?

What's that?It's gone.

The Tura Lura Topaz has been stolen.

And look, here's a note. Fancy Finger

Finnegan strikes again.

Fancy Finger Finnegan, the international

jewel thief. This case is too big for the

police. Send for Adam Ant.

Once again, an urgent leave for help is

sent to the headquarters of the smallest

but mightiest defender of law and order,

Adam Ant. Here, under even the

underworld, we find our hero in his

laboratory.

Calling Adam Ant. Calling Adam Ant.

It's the new hotline I had installed. I

wonder if it works.

Oh yeah, it works. Fancy Finger

Finnegan has just filched the Tura Laura

Topaz. We're counting on you to put the

heat on him, Madam Ant. Fancy

Finger Finnegan. I never heard of him,

but I'll get the low down on Finnegan

from my crook book. Aha,

here it is. Fancy Finger Finnegan, famous

jewel thief hideout located at

Finnegan. Adam Ant is up at

Adam.

And while Adam Ant sets out to recover

the tour of Laura Topaz, Fancy Finger

Finnegan hides out in his luxurious

penthouse hideout. Ha ha ha

ha. What a prize. This should put me on

the cover of Crime magazine. We interrupt

this program to bring you the latest

development on the Turandura Topaz

robbery. Tell me, tell meAdam Ant has

been called in to the case. Police expect

an arrest within 24 hours. An ant

arrest me. That's rich.

An itsy bitsy aunt. If he shows up around

here, you'll be committing insecticide.

Yeah, Mr. Finnegan, you want I should do

what?If an ant shows up, I should

step on him. Right, Mr. Finnegan.

The altitude up there must be getting Mr.

Finnegan. He's cracking

up. Good afternoon, doorman. Is Fancy

Finger Finnegan in?An ant.

Well, orders is orders.

Get lost, Ant. Pardon

me, but you stepped on my head. Hey,

what's up?You are.

Boy, if I ever told my wife an aunt did

this, she'd never believe it.

That bungling doorman. I'll go down and

take care of that aunt myself.

Now, let me see. Here we are. Fancy

Finger Finnegan penthouse. I'll just take

the elevator and

surprise Finnegan in his penthouse

hideout.

So that Ant wants to use the elevator, eh

This button will open the lobby door for

him. Only there won't be any elevator to

get on.

Penthouse, please. Oh,

no elevator. Going

down.

Going up.

You win, Adamant. I surrender. Good.

Now let me have the tura-lura topaz.

Gee, I never had this much trouble with

the FBI.

I keep the gem in my vault. See for

yourself. You better be telling me the

truth, Finnegan. I don't like to be put

on. Oh, I'm not putting you on.

I'm putting you in.

Well, at least he's half honest. The

Turalura Topaz is here all right.

Now to unleash my secret weapon, a

starving giant anteater.

All right, Finnegan, open the door before

I huff and I puff and I.

Well, that sounds like the end of Adam

Act. Hey, let me out of here.

Now that I've loosened his tongue, I'll

unloosen the door. Poor

little fella. I was getting to like him

too. All

right, Finnegan, I'm taking you in.

Please do.

And so once again, Adam Ant triumphs over

the forces of evil and brings a

lawbreaker to justice. Oh, how

embarrassing for an international jewel

thief like me.

Well, gentlemen, thanks to Adam Ant, the

Turo Lura Topaz is back where it belongs.

It's Adam Ant. Now that this case

is solved, I wonder if I can practice my

skating lessons. Be my guest. Thank you,

sir.

Let's face it, even us defenders of law

and order have to relax.
