[chattering]

[laughing]

[laughing]

Oh.

Hey, Snoopy, what are you up to?

"Dear Helen Sweetstory,

no one has ever loved your Bunny Wunny
books as much as I do.

You truly are the best writer ever.
Your biggest fan, Snoopy."

I think the author
will really like your letter.

[chirps]

[cheering]

Whee! [chatters]

Whoo-hoo!

[groans]

Helen Sweetstory is a busy author,

so it may take a while
to get a response to your letter.

Plus, you just mailed it two minutes ago.

[groans]

- [sighs]
- [snoring]

[thunder rumbling]

[gasps]

[squealing]

[sighs]

[snoring]

Good news, Snoopy. You got something
back from Helen Sweetstory.

- [snoring, squeals]
- [yawns]

Do you want me to read it?

"Dear fan, thanks for your letter.
Signed, Helen Sweetstory."

[squeaks]

Whoo-hoo!

Oh!

She also sent you this.

[gasps]

Ah!

- [toy giggles]
- [chuckling]

[sighs]

Well, her letters might be short,
but at least her gifts are nice.

[squawks]

[chuckles]

- [giggling]

[squeaks]

[Sally] "Hearts For My Sweet Babboo."

[gasps] Snoopy,
look at all these valentines.

There's even one for you. How about that?

Oh! Here's another one for you.

And another. Must be your lucky day.

One more for you.

One more for you.

Wait! Here's one with my name on it.

"Charlie Brown,
please give this to Snoopy."

I didn't even get one.

Aw.

"To the round-headed kid who brings
me supper, happy Valentine's Day."

I know I should be embarrassed,
but I'll take it.

Thanks, old pal. [chuckles]

Hmm. Charlie Brown sure is excited
about getting mail.

Hello, my Sweet Babboo.

Nothing says Valentine's Day
like a homemade card.

Let's see. I need to add some glue.

Sparkles.

And the ultimate finishing touch,
a macaroni self-portrait.

Perfection.

Snoopy, I need you to take this...

[gasps] It's not for you.

I need you to deliver it.

After all, there's nothing classier
than a personal courier.

Take it to my Sweet Babboo. [sighs]

He is the one who puts a song in my heart.

Got it?

Mm-hmm.

[chattering, laughing]

[Sally]
He is the one who puts a song in my heart.

[classical piano music playing]

[chortles]

[discordant chord, music continues]

[strings vibrate]

- [howls]
- Can I help you?

This is for me?

- [classical music plays on TV]
- [phone ringing]

[chuckles] That must be my Sweet Babboo.

I'll bet he really liked
my macaroni portrait.

Hello.

He did what?

This is outrageous!

I mean, I'm glad you liked it, Schroeder.

Snoopy!

You gave my valentine to the wrong person.

Now I have to make another masterpiece
that captures the true depth of my love.

You think that's easy? It's not!

Construction paper. Glue.

Macaroni.

Extra sparkles.

- [coughs]
- Perfect.

My Sweet Babboo will see how much I care.

Be sure to take it
to the right person this time.

Remember, my Sweet Babboo is so sweet
you can practically eat him up.

[sighs]

Uh-huh.

[chattering, laughing]

- [yips]
- [slurps]

Oops.

[Sally] My Sweet Babboo is so sweet
you can practically eat him up.

Hey!

Mmm.

For me?

[phone ringing]

Finally. I'm coming.

Hello, my Sweet Babboo.

What? Again? [groans]

I mean, you're welcome, Franklin.

Construction paper.

Glue.

Sprinkles.

Macaroni.

Let me make this crystal clear.

This beautiful work of art is to go to
my Sweet Babboo and only my Sweet Babboo.

The one who takes my breath away.

- Do you understand?
- Uh-huh.

[coughing]

What a lovely gesture.

I'm glad you liked it, Pigpen.

[groans]

Yay! This made my day.

[groans]

[groans] This is ridiculous!

I asked you to do one simple thing,
and you didn't do it.

Now my Sweet Babboo will never know
how much I care. [crying]

Sally, I'm the last person
to give advice on Valentine's Day,

but have you considered
that it might not be Snoopy's fault?

Maybe he wasn't sure
who your Sweet Babboo is.

Well, he could've just asked me.
[sniffles]

It doesn't matter now. [sniffles]
Valentine's Day is ruined.

It's not your fault, Snoopy. It's just,
Valentine's Day means a lot to Sally.

Hmm.

[pounding on door]

[Sally] What is it now?

Because you made so many
nice Valentine's Day cards for everyone,

we wanted to do something special for you.

Oops.

Happy Valentine's Day!

[gasps] For me? Oh, thank you!

You even got
the macaroni-to-sparkle ratio just right.

Happy Valentine's Day, pal.

Huh.

Who knew a day in the middle of February
could bring so many people together?

[scatting]

[squeaks]

[Sally] "Three Cheers for Snoopy."

[grunts]

Ah! [chatters]

[grunts, shouts]

[shouting]

[cheering]

[chattering]

[scoffs]

- [sighs]
- [cheering]

It's only a game, Snoopy.
You're not gonna win every time.

Remember, it's supposed to be fun,
and you're being a very poor sport.

[muttering]

Hey! This is my racket.

Hmm. [murmuring]

- [murmurs]
- [yawns]

[yelps, growls]

[grunts]

[yelps]

[growls, grunts]

[mumbling]

[sighs]

[shouting]

[Sally] Fore!

Hi, Snoopy.

[gasps] Look how close to the hole I got.
I've never even golfed before.

[muttering]

Look at that.
Who knew this game could be so fun?

[shouts]

You look upset.

You should try writing your feelings down.
That's what I do.

[muttering]

No wonder he failed obedience school.

Snoopy, you're being too loud.

Mom says you should write
your feelings down with a soft pencil.

[grumbles]

[muttering]

[grumbles]

[grumbles]

[shouts]

[shouts]

[shouting]

[muttering]

[gasps, growls]

[shouts]

Interesting.

Your problem is you're a sore loser.

My advice to you is
when you're feeling grumpy, count to ten.

Hmm.

But first, I need you to count to five.

Five cents, please.

[groans]

[panting] Yay! [chuckles]

Go, team.

Ready, Snoopy?

Aha!

[grunts]

Whoo-hoo! [chuckles]

[strains]

[groans]

[gasps, panting]

Thanks, kid. I'll take it from here.

[grunts]

[shrieks]

- [whistle blows]
- Whoo-hoo!

[grumbles]

[counting]

[continues counting]

Are you counting to ten
because you're upset?

[groans]

One time, I was making
a volcano for science class,

and I used baking powder
instead of baking soda.

There was no chemical reaction,
and I got a B-minus.

The point is, I understand being upset.

Thanks again
for fumbling that ball, Snoopy.

That was my best touchdown this year.

[grumbles]

[shouting]

[groans]

Instead of being angry at yourself
because you made a mistake,

try being happy for others.

If you want, you can borrow
my pom-poms. Here.

[grumbling]

[shouts]

Nice cheer. Good game to you too.

Oh.

Oh. [cheering]

My work here is done.

Can you use it in a sentence, please?

[droning adult chatter]

Hmm. [clears throat]
Armadillo. A-R-M... Um.

[cheering]

A-R-M-A-D-I-L-L-O.

- [bell dings]
- [applause]

Thanks, Snoopy.

The key is to start
with a solid foundation.

[cheering]

I rest my case.

Thanks, Snoopy.

Okay, all I have to do
is get this last batter out.

[cheering]

Not now, Snoopy. We haven't won yet.

[quiet cheering]

[bat cracks]

I can't stand it.

[yells]

[grunting]

[groans]

[groans]

Whoo-hoo! [chortles]

[murmurs]

You know, you're right.

It's just a game. It's supposed to be fun.

Hey, that was a great hit!

Yes! Go, team! Go!

Great game, everybody!

Way to go!

Winning's not everything.

Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

I don't think Charlie Brown knows
it's only the second inning.

- Whoo-hoo! Hip hip hooray!
- [cheering]

[jazz playing]
