campus cabin and let's see who we have

inspired to draw I'm so glad to see you

back in pappyland the fun never ends

when we're together I'm feeling creative

today how about you how do you think we

could find inspiration for drawing and

singing today

let's take a peek together to start off

our day tapi scope will inspire us you

know give us an idea

okay boys and girls here go

isn't this exciting where are where

roids is a turtle he lives near the

lagoon hello happy I'll send their

children along be sure to say hello to

right good we're going to journey along

a special path till we get to the lagoon

where turtle Lula's it's going to be so

much fun what we're going to learn to

draw and see whatever else might happen

remember anything can happen your goals

I'm so glad we're together on one of my

very favorite places the things at one

of my extra special friends named turtle

oh but you can call him Louie come on

let's go have some fun

well today we're going to draw a mama

and a baby owl is everybody ready let's

get started we'll start by drawing the

mama I'll first

and we'll start by putting one point

here

and then a curve line here

and another point right there good now

let's start at this point and bring this

around and stop and bring this around

and stop good now we'll put two lines

here one

two

ok now we're going to do Mama's beep

kind of like our nose only it's a beak

here we go

one on curb line and we'll just bring it

down kind of like the letter V

good now we need two eyes one

too

but we need we need a little dot in the

middle of each one so we'll put one got

there one dot there and now we'll put

the will put the eyelids that that's the

little thing up on your light it kind of

flutters when you do that

ok that's just one curve line here and

another curve line there good now we'll

draw the the wings of the bird ok and

that's just a curve line like that in a

curved line like that

and

we'll just put another line there and

another line there

are you following along I don't want to

lose anybody take your time and

we'll put another line starting there

and right there at that point bring it

down good okay let's put mamas mamas

feet on the branch she's perched on a

branch so we have to draw her feet ok

and that's too little ovals

2 ovals and we'll do it again right over

here right next to it

one oval two ovals good now let's start

by drawing the branch okay so we'll put

one line here

one line here and the branch is

extending outward like this

out the other side and down and just

kind of follow along with me here

now I'm going to put some leaves on my

branch okay and you can draw them any

shape you want that's the fun part about

drawing with Pappy you can draw any kind

of shape you want for your leaves

are going to be kind of pointed so I'm

gonna draw my leave this way with points

couple we've there okay now i'm going to

put Mama's tail

tail feathers actually because birds

don't have tails do they

these are called tail feathers

good now I'm going to extend the branch

over to the right because the little

birds got to have room to you know

here we go just bring it over like that

how's everybody doing well I'm gonna

draw the little baby bird okay and if

you haven't finished mama bird well then

take your time and finish it up because

I'll be working on the other bird while

you're finishing mama oh okay good

there's no hurry just take your time I

want your picture to come out the best

you can do it I'm drawing another leaf

over here by this branch

now

I'm gonna start by drawing the shoulder

of the little bird just kind of like

mama only a little bit smaller because

he's a little guy and we'll do that and

we'll bring it out over on the other

side just like I did the other bird and

we'll show those the wing good

and we have to draw his head is just a

crew of line like that

and another curve line like that

and we'll put appointed

kind of like ears but they're not there

they're just kind of like pointed

feathers on the top of their head that's

how I look and we'll connect it here

like that

other point right there good this is

starting to look so good okay let's put

the eyes on the little guy that's just

two circles just like that good

now we'll put a little beak

right there in two lines just like we

did on mama all right here all right

whoops i think i'm going to i'm going to

put a couple little feathers indicated

on mama okay and we'll put him right

over here just capo 3 2 or 3 curve lines

like that those are the little feathers

okay now let's put the little guys feet

on them

why no go two ovals

30 goals four ovals okay

and we'll connect this line here has

he's on a branch and we'll bring that

off to the right way over to the right

and again way over to the right good now

let's put the the little guys tail

feathers on because he has tail feathers

just like mama does okay and that's just

really curve lines just like that oh we

got to put dots in the little guy's eyes

just like mama one two

good no I think I'm gonna put a berry

right above the little guy's head okay

because on the tree there's berries it's

very tree

and we'll start by just indicating a

line out like that and we'll put a leaf

over here the berry hangs on the leaf

and we're going to come out with another

line like that and we'll put another

leaf over here

good and we'll just finish this leaf

over here

and right next to that leaf is gonna be

around Barry okay and you know what the

Barry looks like it's a circle isn't it

it's wow just like this okay we're going

to do a little one this time starting

right here at this point let's just draw

a circle

well that's just about finished his mama

owl and baby I'll I'm very happy with it

picture of the Owls if you don't have

hey Pat I want us to finish in a

wasn't it Louie taught us a good lesson

today about respect aren't you glad he

reminded us about that okay it's time to

color if you've lost your clans don't

you can pretend the color with your

marker or your pencil we all know how

pretending can be lots of fun

ok let's begin by calling our owls round

eye

out that with Mama all

right over here on the top of her head

here I'll start calling her

red brown I

haven't got time to draw every feather

on this also i'm not just hollered in

solid

all right here we go

brown seems like a good color for an all

doesn't it but you can make your all any

color you like

just have fun with it and don't worry

about it doesn't matter what color you

use we're having fun

and that's what colorings all about your

you're totally in charge of what you're

calling and you can color anything you

want any color you want there you go

here we go

all right now let's continue on with the

brown color here and we'll just make the

owls wings like that very good and I'm

going to make the other wing

all right let's do the same thing either

on the little the little owl okay we'll

start the brown clan and start coloring

in the little owls face like this and

keep coloring I'm so happy to spend this

time calling with your girls and boys I

hope it makes you happy to

all these owls look very good

looks like the looking at it doesn't

alright let's do the little guys

all right let's start over here and

bring the ground down right there on

that other winning the right here and

we'll start good now I'd like to the

color the inside of the the owl here

this other area here let's call it that

orange I think that's a nice combination

brown and orange look good okay so here

we go with the with the color orange

and we'll fill that in like so

does anybody know what it all sounds

like

I'm sure some of you heard an all on TV

you're gonna programmer you read about

it in school work or someone might have

told you about what an owl does he makes

it he makes a funny sound

and it sounded like like this

hmm oh me oh oh I mean that's what they

all sounds like he sounds like you're

saying who is I was like he's saying the

word who that's bloody all right let's

continue the color here

and we'll just fill that in nice take

your time and do the best you can

looking pretty good

I'm trying to do the best job I can

buy doings by doing so my friends will

say what a good job you did on your

drawing because you stay within the

lines pretty good but if you go outside

the lines don't worry about it just can

have lots of fun

okay let's do the same thing on the

little guy here I'm gonna make this area

orange just like on mama oh

that looks very nice good

just continue to fill that right you

I forgot to do the tail feathers oh you

little pieces of grin on her drawing

because it'll make it a mess I like to

blow that away by going there

now i think i'm going to call the branch

and i'd like to call the grants gray all

right so get your great cream if you

alright and I think that green is the

best color for leaves or grass or trees

okay so let's let's use the green cran

actually not going but it's all in the

same family drawing and colouring it's

just an artistic thing they're doing I

love doing it with you boys and girls

it's so wonderful they have your drawing

with Pappy and let's do these leaves

over here color though then oh

boy mom and dad are gonna be so proud of

you you your drawings looking so good

all right I see one thing I'd like to

call her in and that's this berry and I

think the color purple would be a

wonderful color for this berry don't you

that's a very very good idea

ok let's go that right in oh

how nice that looks now don't call it

all in now leave a little spot right

the orange again I won't bear down i'll

just call her and lightly

and I think that looks pretty good
