book one night hump was getting ready

for bed hump always likes to have a

story when he's going to bed oops there

were a lot of books on hump

bookshelf there was a story about a

little goat and one about a boy who rode

on an elephant and one about animals on

a farm that sang a

song but hump's favorite book was a

story about a little green

bus which story have you chosen tonight

humph the little green bus but we read

that one last night and the night before

that there are lots of other books on

your

bookshelf but I want to read a little

green bus it's my favorite

book

mom once upon a time there was a little

green bus that lived in the country it

picked up furry things and feathery

things hairy things and hairless

things smooth things and spiky things

and took them where they wanted to go

next stop Big Town said the little green

bus wait that's the way the little green

bus

talks oh

uh next stop Big

Town hump knew all the words to the

story of the little green bus but he

still liked to hear them again and then

the Little Bus went back to the bus

garage and went to

hump hump loved the story of the little

green

bus in fact hump loved his book so much

he took it everywhere with

him he took his book to breakfast mom

park Auntie took his book to lon's house

and asked lon's Mom to read it too next

no you have to do a deep voice like this

Town Lon liked the story of the little

too I'm going to be a bus when I grow up

then I can take everybody where they

want to go don't be silly you can't be a

airplane beep beep beep beep hump took

his favorite book with him

everywhere he even took it in the

bath but then something funny happened

the pages got all soggy and puffy mom

mom what's the the matter hump look oh

hump you can't take books in the bath

plus it's my favorite

book mom put the wet book on the

radiator to dry and after tea hump went

back to look at it again his favorite

book was dry now but the pages were

stuck together and they

tore oh I don't want to read a story

tonight

oh hump there are lots of other books on

the bookshelf maybe we could choose one

together no thank

you hump missed his favorite

book once upon a time there was a little

green bus that lived in the

country pump knew all the

words it picked up faur things and heavy

things heavy things and hairless things

anymore maybe I should have another

story

tonight hump looked at the other books

on his bookshelf he had forgotten about

the story of The Little Goat and the one

about the boy who rides on an

elephant and the one about the animals

on the farm that sing a

song there were lots of stories to read

but that night hump chose the one about

airanes it's your turn to read mom Lon

would like this story too she likes a

planes
