stopped sucking your thumb when you were a tiny puppy i tried but i can't stop

doing it but you're not a little puppy anymore trilby now you're older it's time to stop

sucking your thumb before it becomes a habit what's a habit it's something that you

do all the time yeah and when you've got a habit sometimes you do it so much you don't even know

when you're doing it how can i stop my habit if i don't know when i'm doing it don't worry we'll help

you how how am i going to stop sucking my thumb

good question we'll have to think and while we're thinking

how are we going to help trilby's thumb sucking habit i know when you want to

stop someone's hiccups you can give them a surprise you mean will surprise trilby

so she'll forget to suck a thumb exactly let's sneak up on her quietly

you surprised me we surprised you into taking your thumb out of your mouth only

you surprised me so much i want to suck my thumb to calm myself down

oh no it didn't work now what do we do

there must be another way we can help trilby with her habit stand back brain

attack why don't we make trilby's thumb so big

it won't fit in her mouth how would we do that by wrapping it up in bandages

it's worth a try i really want to try and stop my habit

mouth anymore hooray it's worked we stopped trilby's thumb sucking habit

but i can put this thumb in instead

i know what if we wrapped up the other thumb too yeah trilby can't get in the habit of sucking

her thumb if both thumbs are wrapped up i make a habit of chasing mice

and the mice make a habit of running away [Music] i find that a very annoying habit

[Music] now both thumbs are wrapped up has it stopped your habit trilby let's see

i can't suck this one and i can't suck this one hooray we've

stopped the habit now let's play catch

but i can't catch the ball with these bandages the bandages stop trilby's thumb sucking but they stop her doing

everything else as well what are we going to do now there must be some way

we can stop trilby's thumb sucking habit [Music]

it is a habit cause i do it all the time it's a very simple habit as far as

like if you're good then that means they're good habits and if

that you're bad that means they're bad habits do you guys know the word

habits yes what does habits mean it means something that's bad

what does habits mean like you're in a habit of maybe touching your hair picking your nose yeah

a habit means like you've really gotten into it well there are bad habits that

are like you keep on um scratching that could be a habit

yeah that yeah that's a habit if i did it all the time that would be a habit do you know what

habits mean yes what is it it means that if you were going somewhere and and your

kid wasn't ready and they weren't home from school and it was a big habit

always running late yes is that a habit yes how can you fix that one maybe your

mom could go to school and just drag you out of school and get grounded

habit is like a thing that you can't really stop doing [Music]

there must be some way we can stop trilby's thumb sucking habit i've got it

let's play a game that uses both your hands good idea if trilby plays a game

with both hands she won't be able to suck a thumb let's try it [Music]

paddy cake patty cake baker's man bank me a cake as fast as you can

can i play oh you need two hands to play padded cake and you've got that habit of

sucking your thumb i'll stop sucking my thumb if i can play too

me that was great i had so much fun i didn't want to suck

my thumb at all hooray you've done it trilby done what

stopped your habit i have you're right i don't want to suck my thumb at all yes

up everybody we've stopped trilby's thumb sucking habit that's right and now

i can use both my paws for a big

to play if my kite won't fly we've got a play problem

oh no the wind keeps blowing down my house of

cards looks like we've got another play problem a seriously serious play problem this

puppy play day isn't working out very well what are we going to do we need to

think of a plan and while we do let's play

we've got a serious play problem on our paws what's the play problem i want to

play with my kite but it keeps flopping onto the ground and i want to play with my house of

cards but it keeps blowing over pie dough can't play because his kite is a flop right

right and if you want to play with a kite you need wind so it can fly right

right then why don't we all blow like the wind [Applause]

and fly pythos kite up so he can play right

everybody huddle take a big deep breath

and on the count of three everybody blows

one two three [Applause] [Music]

oh no the kite's still a flop what are we going to do about our play problem now

let's see if we can solve b-max's play problem instead

[Music] b-max can't play because the wind keeps blowing over his house of cards

but if we make a big strong doggy ball around him the wind won't blow the cards

over [Music]

stand back brain attack i've got a play idea coming through tell

us your play idea i need wing to play with my kite right

right and b-max needs no wind to play with his house of cards right

right then if i play outside where there's wind and b-max plays inside

where there's no wind we'll both be able to play

we don't think we could stand it life would not be the same without fun

without games wouldn't know what to say if they took away plays

cause we don't need a reason to play day in and day out run and jump

lap and shout on a beautiful day nothing's better

what do you like to play brayden spiderman and superman superman and spiderman

wow what kind of games do you guys like i

like tick how do you play tip well um like someone's in then they have to try

and get you and if they click with your hand then you're in how do you play tip if you touch a

person they're in and then what do they have to do they

have to try to tip the other people that are playing what sorts of games do you play when you go on holiday

scrabble i spy oh that's a cool game and

we play checkers sometimes i play guess who well is it like you get like charades

do you have to say i'm thinking of someone guess who it is well you get to choose a card then you put it

down and you have to ask questions until the person gets who you've got

what's a fun game to play on the beach on holiday who did the biggest hole

that's a game how do you play who digs the biggest hole you dig a hole and whoever gets the

biggest one they win have you ever seen anyone play beach cricket yes how do you play cricket on the beach

it's just normal cricket but on the beach sounds cool

my house of cards is all finished and there's no wind to blow it down

some games are definitely much easier to play inside like past the puzzle but some games are

better if they're played outside like playing with a kite great idea let's see

if we can fly my kite outside where there's lots of wind now that those dogs have gone i can play my favorite game

catching z's you can do it inside or outside all you

need is a soft comfy place to put your head down and

wow look at how high your kite can fly now pido it was a great idea to play with

your kite out here where there's lots of wind that's because some games are much easier to play outside like soccer

that's a great game to play outside because you get to run around and kick a ball

i love playing chasey in the garden because you can run around as fast as you like when you're outside

is there a game you don't love playing rags let me see

nope i love playing any game play play

all day so next time you're having a play day make sure you don't get your inside

games mixed up with your outside games [Music]
