one spring morning Pete chirp and quack

were all standing on a branch having a

smiled at me if I didn't know better I'd

say he was a duck where do eggs come

that's Maggie me and Quran our school is

hatching chicks with an incubator the

incubator is a thing that keeps the eggs

warm I think that egg is gonna hatch

first because it's pushing out we can

see it's like beak starting to pop out

do it little chicken oh my gosh

Oh I thought it would be bigger than

that

it looks like it's using its foot to get

out of the shell the chicken's feathers

are black and a little whitish and they

look kind of like wet and gooey from the

stuff inside the egg

this little chick seems to be very tired

because all day it's been trying to

break out of the egg

later that day we had a few ticks

they're not even one day old and they

can already drink walk and eat

when it hatched it looked like fur

because it was wet but now it is dry so

it looks more like feathers

the next day we took the chicks back to

the farm

try visiting a farm or a pet store to

see different kinds of baby animals

the whatchamacallit one morning Pete

quack and chirp discovered something

very odd okay

stay behind the duck everyone it looks

dangerous did you hear that it jingles

hmm what are you talking about there's

no jingle now I have something that

makes an incredible sound it's a

whatchamacallit what so what Jamaa thing

well it's fascinating at least to the

smarter animals but what is it it's a

kind of thingamabob yeah they're very

rare very unusual to find one Wow

can we see Wow it's in my secret private

treasure storage area you'll have to

walk very far and climb very high that's

okay

we were made for climbing let's go

actually they weren't made for climbing

it all but that's a minor detail

oh look at this place they've ruined my

organization I'll just start keep an eye

that's me and Sal Mehra throw we made a

ramp with a book and a ball the ball

holds down the book pretty fast

amazing wrap my leg is a good wrap when

I move my foot like this it turns

different directions see we have a ramp

made out of a book we have a finish line

made out of a book and we have two

bottles

this ball is heavy this ball is light

and we're gonna see which one wins a

race three two one zero

the wooden ball hit the finish line

first I wonder why the heavier wooden

ball won the race these are about the

same weight but one is bigger and one is

smaller I'm using a bigger ramp and the

little ball goes pretty far

I wonder why that bigger ball went

further than the little ball we are

making a kind of bowling game go see
