clues one morning Connie and Patch went

to visit Connie's grandmar they asked if

she could think of an exciting game for

them to

play I know exactly the game for you a

kind of treasure hunt follow the clues

to find the presents follow clues that

sounds fun but where do we get the clues

grandma that's very easy I'll give you a

clue and it will lead you to one of your

friends I see and once we found them

what do we have to do next they'll give

you a present and they'll also give you

another clue that will lead you to the

next friend see that sounds like fun

let's get going can we have the first

Connie and Patch went down to the river

to see if they could find out who it

it's a frog it can't be a frog patch

frogs jump and they swim but they don't

until a duck came swimming up the river

blackberries then the dunk gave them the

flower to the next but be careful if you

she flies from flower to flower and if

you bother her she stings who do you

think that is patch then patch noticed a

butterfly perched on a

flower it can't be a butterfly

butterflies don't

sting nearby a bee was going around the

flowers collecting nectar to make

delicious honey

when patch saw the bee he shouted hey

me you have a look at the bottom of the

tree you'll find there's a lovely

fly patch and Connie arrived at the farm

and started looking for someone who had

wings but can't fly I can see her

present oh yummy sweet

corn very good I thought you'd like some

sweet corn now pay attention I'm going

to give you the next clue you have to

find someone who sleeps during the day

and flies around in the sky at night oh

that's going to be the most difficult

one

yet while the two friends were trying to

think who flies by night and sleeps by

in a cave whilst they were inside they

had found someone who sleeps by day and

flies around at night a bat and there's

I not long afterwards the rain stopped

and the sky

cleared Connie and Patch were very happy

because they knew exactly who they had
