Today my friend, Chris gets new shoes.

I wanted it to get new shoes too,

I was going to miss my old shoes.

I love new sneakers.

They make my feet feel like they're flying.

Shoes are very important to a mail carrier

who's on her feet all day.

I'm about ready for some new shoes myself.

But what is my new ones aren't as comfortable as these?

On the other hand, these are pretty slippery on the bottom

and I wouldn't want to slip and fall.

- Hm, I've had such good times in these shoes.

I don't want to give up those memories.

- I've had some good times in my shoes too, Dooley.

But I know that when I get a new pair,

the adventures begin all over again.

And I get to make new memories.

That must be why

I'm not sure that Chris and I are ready for news shoes.
