bear it was a winter morning Connie

looked out of the window and saw snow

everywhere Connie thought it would be

fun to go out for a walk in the

snow the snowflakes that landed on her

back were all tickly and

cold she was having a great time until

she SLI at the top of a

hill she went tumbling head over

heels and she turned into a great big

snowball

I suppose you think it's funny breaking

people up like that oh I'm sorry who's

that who do you think it is it's me it

was hedi the Hedgehog Connie what are

you doing out walking in this weather oh

and what are you doing sleeping in the

daytime oh Connie everybody knows that

Hedgehog sleep all winter long well I

didn't know that and are there any other

animals that sleep in the winter yes

bears oh I'm so

tired not far away in a cave in the

Hills the bear family was sleeping

peacefully the smallest bear woke up

when he heard a mole go clump Jing

through the cave he jumped up to find

out where the mole could be

going but just the same thing happened

to him as happened to Connie he started

to Skid on the slippery snow and soon he

was rolling down the hill in a big

snowboard

[Music]

oh no where am

I Connie was walking along nearby when

she heard the little bear

[Music]

crying what's the matter I'm

I can't find momy and

Daddy I'm all on my own I feel ever so

sad and I want to go

[Music]

home don't worry Little Bear I'll help

you find Mommy and Daddy

[Music]

Connie didn't know that bears lived in

caves she thought they might live inside

a

[Music]

tree but this was the tree where the

snake who's always on

time he carried a clock to tell the time

what do you want it's not time for me to

get up yet but it's already midday oh no

my clock's slow again I thought this

little Bear's mommy and daddy lived

here don't be silly my Nest is much too

small for

Bears yes it is too small well I'm going

to get back at my Nest it's too cold out

here and once again it started to snow

it snowed and it

snowed as the day went on got colder and

colder Connie began to think she

wouldn't find her friends mommy and

daddy it made her feel

[Music]

sad my legs are tired Connie and the

little bear lay down for a rest they

snuggled together to keep

[Music]

warm suddenly Connie noticed a cave

hey wake up let's go into that cave

we'll be much warmer in there come on

[Music]

little Connie was quicker so she got

there first what a surprise it was the

bear's cave mommy and daddy bear were

fast asleep

hello hey you bears

wakey oo listen what's all that noise

they were so sleepy they didn't notice

their little one was

missing what did you have to wake us up

for it's little bear he went out for a

walk and got lost we were lucky to find

you again the little bear was very happy

to see his mommy and daddy poor little

thing mommy and daddy bear went to greet

their little one and Connie was glad

but how did you find your way back to

the

cave this little cow brought me home and

her name is Connie she's

Connie that night as she went off to

sleep Connie was very happy

she had learned that some animals sleep

all through the winter and she would

have a new friend to play with when

Springtime came around
