seek it was a beautiful day the sun was

in the sky and Connie and her friends

Wally and grun decided it was the

perfect weather for playing outside I

let's go and play hide and seek okay but

how do you play

it um I don't know I can't remember oh

how silly one of us has to count to 10

while the others go and hide then the

one who counted to 10 has to find them

oh that sounds like fun I want to play

you count first

go 1 2 oh dear what am I going to do I

don't know how to count to 10 Connie

went to ask the Sleepy toris for some

help snooze wake up I need you to help

me can you teach me how to count to 10

of course what could be simpler 1 2

oh dear he's gone back to

sleep where's Connie why a't she found

us it's because we're too well

hidden let me see what did the toris say

1 2 3 oh I only know how to count up to

three I can help you

Connie oh hello there little mouse can

you teach how to count up to 10 if we

had some apples we could practice

counting them Connie thought that was a

very good idea so together they set out

to look for an apple

tree you shake the apples out of the

tree and I'll count them Connie was very

happy at last she was going to learn how

to count to

10 one 2

three four Connie could count to four

how exciting she shook the tree even

[Music]

harder oh look there are no more apples

left shall we go and look for another

apple tree sorry Connie I have to be

getting along but thanks for these five

lovely apples

oh Connie was sad because the mouse had

only shown her how to count to five

meanwhile grouch and Wally were still in

their hiding places waiting for Connie

to come and find

them I'm tired of hiding there why

doesn't Connie come and find us I told

you we're just too good at

[Music]

hiding Connie carried on looking for an

animal who could help her to count to 10

then all of a sudden she heard a cry for

help help me

help somebody help me I'm

stuck Connie went to find out what the

matter was but the ant was so small she

didn't see him help me help there's no

one shouting for help in the bees nest

so where's that voice coming from I'm

down here looking down Connie saw a tiny

ant trapped in a drop of honey oh you

poor little ant how can I help you out

of there quick run and tell my friends

to come the little told Connie where to

find his nest and she hurried off to get

help when she got to the nest Connie

told the ants the news and now he's

stuck in the honey he can't get

out come on everybody jump to

it Connie watched as the ants jumped out

of the nest off they went in an orderly

line they looked much more organized

that

count Connie took the ants to where

their friend was stuck in the honey they

all lined up to help pull him

[Music]

out now there's one thing we have to do

before we go back to the nest we have to

check that everybody's here

everybody Connie was very happy she had

learned how to count to 10 so now she

could go and look for her

friends they've been waiting for me so

long falling

asleep

a look at them they're sleeping so

peaceful I think it would be a shame to

wake them

up as Connie went off to sleep that

evening she thought of a game to play

next day she and her friends could play

it learning to count counting is such a

lot of fun
