Hi, it's your on-the-scene reporters.

How velocipedic. Exciting, even.

Here we are at the starting line awaitin' the start

of the first to cross the finish line event.

What's this?

A Yogi gold medalist using trainin' wheels?

Surely you jest, Quick Draw.

Nope, never rode a two wheeler.

Only four leggers and they was horses.

If you think that's odd, Snag, get a load of Dynomutt.

is to put your bike ahead of the others.

It's Doggie Daddy for the Yogis.

Dread Baron for the Rottens.

And the Scooby's All Stars Star, The Blue Falcon

[male announcer] What a throw, however since, the boomerang

must come back to the thrower, I'm afraid

Blue Falcon's throw doesn't stand a chance.

Hold it a sec, Ol' Blue, I'd like to ask you a question.

Of course, Mildew.

You don't seem at all perturbed

your boomerang didn't come back to you.

Of course not.

My throw isn't complete yet.

Oh, really?

Can't stand an overconfident, Super Hero.

[male announcer] Now, next up it's the Yogis Doggie Daddy.

[cheering]

Let's move it, before we get bonked by a boomerang.

So, here it goes.

Show 'em , dear ol' dad.

[male announcer] And it's headed straight for the marker, a perfect ringer.

[Mildew] But unfortunately, Doggie Daddy this is a boomerang throw

Not a horse shoe pitch.

Too bad, dear ol' dad.

The Rottens' Dread Baron is next.

But what's he up to?

I'm preparing my sneaky boomerang

with a model radio control.

How utterly underhanded.

Oh, it's dreadfully dirty, Dread, darling.

Golly, Blue Falcon. I can't believe you made

an imperfect throw seein' how you're perfect and all.

I repeat, my throw is not complete.

I gotta get Blue Falcon back in out of the heat of the outback.

[male announcer] At last, Dread Baron arrives at the throwers circle.

Raises back and tosses his boomerang

back over his shoulder with his eyes closed.

And it flips flops away off course.

And you'll soon see some super boomeranging.

First, I'll loop the loop and spin around the marker.

[male announcer] Amazing, loop the loop and a triple spin around

the marker followed by a grass cutting sweep then an up sweep

which could spell a win for the Rottens.

[cheering]

A simple..

...ha ha ha but effective win. If I do say so.

thud

Bravo.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer rotten.

It appears to me that, that's the contest, folks.

The winner is--

[Blue Falcon] 'One moment, Snagglepuss.'

The contest isn't over yet.

I, now estimate my throw will be complete just about now.

Yes, right on schedule.

Around the world in eight minutes.

[cheering]

I'm flabbergatted, Blue Falcon.

Discombuberated by a boomerang.

This changes everything.

The winner even.

[male announcer] Correct, Snagglepuss.

The Blue Falcon's super terrific throw

gives the Scoobys 25 points, the Yogis 15

and the Rottens 10 for using an ill*gal electronic control.

[cheering]

Moving right along to the vast Australian outback.

Our athletes are mounted and ready

for the big 60 point bonus Kangaroo Race.

Mumbly for the Rottens.

Huckleberry Hound for the Yogis..

[cheering]

...and Scooby-Dum for the Scoobys.

What a sight, seeing these gold medalist savages

on Kangaroo back. Ridiculous sight.

And it's not gonna get better as they hop about

this crazy course to see who comes in first.

[male announcer] Ready on the racing line, go!

Mumbly is all prepped up. He seems to be having his ups

and downs getting going.

Huckleberry leaps off to take the lead.

But it looks like Scooby-Dum is having problems.

Giddy up, go!

Hop to it.

Hey, wait for me.

[male announcer] The Rottens haven't started yet

as their rather tinny looking kangaroo

continues to hop in place.

dong dong

[babbling]

Don't blame us, Mumbly, we ain't never drove a kangaroo before.

But we'll take off now, just down that a way.

Hang on, Mumbly, we're ready to roll.

[engine revving]

[male announcer] 'And they're off!'

Heavens to how many grids.

A tin can, eight cylinder kangaroo.

A wailer, instead of a hopper?

A kangaroo is a kangaroo accordin' to the rules.

[male announcer] The Rottens racing Kangaroo racer has rolled ahead

to leave the Yogi entry in a cloud of smoke.

Somebody oughta check its smog device.

[male announcer] Finally, Scooby-Dum's kangaroo is on her way.

But doing a graceful tippy toeing.

I'm impressed with her, Mildew.

Bowled over even.

Yes, Snag, she's a real cutie as a dancer.

'But a real clutsy as a racer.'

That's my kangaroo.

Giddy up, Matilda.

[male announcer] Now, from her pirouettes, Matilda

is going into a graceful leap

to catch up with Huck's racing kangaroo.

Meanwhile, it looks like the Rottens are headed

for some rocky racing or rocks and rolling.

Ha ha ha.

[blubbering]

We'd best stop the rockin' and get to hoppin'.

[male announcer] The Rottens have stopped, but now, they're really

putting some springs into their steps.

Yes, they sprung over the rock area and..

...right into a mud hole where they end up clogged down.

[blubbering]

So, while the Rottens pause for a mud bath

the Yogi's and the Scooby Doobies' kangaroos

hopping neck and neck bounce past and into the lead.

We ain't done in yet, Mumbly. We're gonna get up

out of this muck, yet.

Push, pull and push. Everything in sight, Dastardly.

One of these gadgets oughta get us to going.

[male announcer] The Rottens aren't giving up yet, folks.

Now, they're using their rotary tail spinner to take off..

...for a nose dive.

But they're back up on their spring loaded feet

and they just sprung back into the race.

Wow, a hundred foot spring straight up and down..

boom

...this maybe the end of the line for them.

Huh, not while we got this one last lever to pull.

[Dastardly] 'Ha ha, that's it, Dirty.'

'Now, we'll be on our way with pogo sticks, powering.'

[Dirty] 'Just keep the pogo-ing.'

[male announcer] The Rottens haven't given up.

schlip schlip

And here at the finish line, I can see our starved racers

'hoppin' down the home stretch.'

'Dancin' even.'

[male announcer] Yes, Snags, Scooby Dum's kangaroo

in a series of kangaroo party doos

has just danced ahead of Huck Hound to take the lead.

[cheering]

You heard 'em, fella. You better get a hoppin'

before that dancin' damsel beats us.

[male announcer] The Yogi's just leaped into the lead

past the pirouetting Matilda.

[cheering]

Hey-h*, I'm getting dizzy.

How about a simple foxtrot?

[male announcer] But what's this? A tornado tumbleweed?

No it must be..

Yes, it is. The Rottens.

And they're rolling on to victory.

bang

[male announcer] With the Scooby's entry twirling in second

and the Yogi entry skidding in third.

Yes, it looks like the Rottens made it with a bang-up finish..

...or should I say, banged up finish.

Ha ha ha

[blubbering]

[male announcer] And the winner is--

Hold it. Cease. Call off the marines.

Honest and replay on the Rottens even.

What kind of kangaroo is this?

That's motorized with high speed rollers.

Steel coiled, spring loaded tootsies?

[male announcer] Sorry, Snagglepuss, but there is nothing in the rules

forbiddin' the racing of a mechanical kangaroo.

[snickering]

[male announcer] So the Yogi Yahooeys get 10.

The Scooby Doobies get 15 points
