Peep Peep to take her sheep out to the

gra she had a picnic all of her own

while the sheep were all

lost all track of the time while she was

asleep all over she wandered off to play

in the sunshine

going to be interviewing a very talented

young man brendan Milbank is an

accomplished chalice at the ripe old age

of 15 so for the story of how to be so

far along so early in life let's join

Brendan and Janet on question time thank

you Christian thank you Alexandra good

morning Brandon we're thrilled to have

you here on the show thank you very much

and I'm very pleased to be here first of

all how did you become interested in

music i was at the age of about five I

guess sitting in front of a large TV

watching an orchestra play and my

parents saw how excited and enthralled I

was with what they were doing so they

chose for me to play the cello because

my mother said I enjoyed hugging things

teddy bears the works so I can hug a

cello so that's what I do do you play

other instruments to be a musician it

helps to play piano so I just began

playing piano now what kinds of music do

you like to play i play mostly classical

but I love to listen to jazz and rock

and roll and the rest do you have a

favorite composer all the composers are

my favorite but the one I'm playing

today Ba I guess would be my favorite

solo composer how much time a day do you

spend practicing

anywhere between 1 to 3 hours a day wow

can you play something for us okay i'm

going to play a bath beret and a beret

is a type of dance

what advice do you have for kids who

wish to be musicians if you're going to

be a musician you have to be seriously

dedicated to what you do um you have to

be prepared to donate a lot of your time

to studying the instrument and learning

to play do you enjoy playing um I enjoy

it very much and I spent so much time at

it I guess I should now how about a kid
