feeling half refreshed.

We're gonna need an extra

little bit of boost
this morning.

It's called bacon and eggs

because probably without it,

we won't be getting gold.

have left nome far behind,

chasing kris's years
long dream

of finding the mother lode
farther up the coast

than they've
ever been before.

for some shock and awe action.

After literally years

of blood, sweat and tears,

and basically poverty,

today is finally the day.

We're on our way to elim.

to make this happen.

This is the biggest adventure
we've been on

since we started gold mining.

If it pays off for us,
we could be millionaires.

a new truck even.

of sonar mapping out on 56.

I found all the places
where I think it's likely

for there to be gold

and so I just want to go

anchor up, drop the hose down,

get all the gear running,

suit up, and then
just see if I can find

any hot spots there.

through the different steps

and it's pretty simple.
It's a lot easier

than you think it is.

It's actually a long
*bleep* process.

like 45 minutes
of talking nonstop.

And bam, you have staked
your own claim,

get your own piece of alaska.

Process pretty simple,
you get the coordinates

to the claim,
you go out there,

you make sure there's gold
on the claim.

Then you put a piece
of rebar with your name

and fill out the proper
paperwork and bam,

you have staked
your own claim.

Get your own piece of alaska.

to the bureau
of land management,

you have to see what claims
are available,

then you have to get
the gps coordinates

because everything fits
in like a little square.

Forty acre claims
is what we're gonna be

talking about today.
Then you have to go

to that square
with your gps in your boat,

find gold on that claim.

I'm already seeing some gold.

Look at it all,

So you go into shore
with your gps,

you find the coordinates
to the corner of the claim

and then you stake a piece
of rebar with your paperwork.

And bam, you have staked
