[Dahmen] We had our first kid,

He's amazing.
You get used to
the pee and poop rather quickly.
He just kept peeing. It's amazing
how much laundry you do with a kid.
He just pees everywhere.
I've even been hit in the face.
It changes a lot. The responsibility
off the golf course is a lot more.
I just wanna be over there
and help out as much as I can.
But on the other side of that, I have
to do my job to take care of my family.
This is how I support my family,

Thankfully, I have an amazing wife in Lona

That's just a pretty bottle
that I was going to use as a vase.
-That's tequila.
-[Lona] It was tequila.
-But it's empty.
-It's not really.
[Lona] There's been times we were like,
"How are we handling this?
How do you manage this?"
It's amazing, but it's a lot.
[Dahmen] This is how a lot
of our nights ended before kids.
Happy new house.
Oh my God. Like a champ!
[chuckles]
-Can I just... This is a terrible idea.
-[Lona laughs]
[Lona] Oh! Ah.
Mmm.
Oh my God,
I was so much better at that than you.
-That's 'cause it needs so much air.
-Cheers.
[Dahmen] The balance is very difficult.
We're still working on the balance.

They seem to be working for some of them.

[man] Yeah.
My name is Wyndham Clark, and I play
professional golf on the PGA TOUR.
[man 2] Attaboy. Good job.
[Clark] When I first got out
on the PGA TOUR,
I really thought
I was going to have tons of success.
That wasn't in the cards.
[commentator]
For birdie now, Wyndham Clark here.
[crowd] Oh!
[Clark] I was kind of one of the top guys
coming out of college,
Pac-12 Player of the Year,
and, you know, my mind was like,
"All right, we're just going to do
the same thing in professional golf."
[commentator]
Well, this ought to be interesting.
[Rapaport] Wyndham Clark
was always looked at
as a guy, like he's got the tools.
He's big, he hits it a long way,
he's got a soft touch around the greens.
It's like, "Why is this guy
not competing with the Justin Thomases
and the Jordan Spieths?"
-[crowd] Oh!
-[commentator] Still not in for double.
Wyndham was a bit
of an angry golfer before,
and I think he would be
really, really hard on himself.

of belittling myself
and thinking negatively,
locking myself in rooms
and not coming out for a long time

I don't need a..."
And I'm like, "I feel like I have
somebody different this time."
I didn't know it was gonna be different,
but he had to try.
[woman] How's your anxiety level
over birdie putts?
[Clark] I would say it's probably
higher than par. It's like I can hit...
I know that. I'm comparing it
to when we really got you great.
-[Clark] It's not... Yeah.
-It's gotten a little worse.
[Clark] I started working with Julie
in December.
Now I have something and someone
that is able to get me
in the direction I want to be.
[Julie] Make them care about you Sunday.
Yeah. Yeah.
[Julie] Sport psychology,
mental coaching has taken off.
People are really using this line of work
way more often than five years ago.
So why don't we say after this week
we really sit down and talk about
how you're doing with it all?
Wyndham was extremely resistant
to working with me at the beginning.
He was struggling
with anger towards himself,
the loss and the grief
of not having the career he wanted.
I think we have to define "poor,"
"really bad," "mediocre," and "great."
Yeah.
[Julie] I really do stress
that this is harder than golf.
This is digging deep
and really looking at yourself,
and it's a lot of work.
But he started
to feel better about himself,
and then that transferred
to him playing better golf.
[commentator] Here's Wyndham Clark.
-[commentator 2] And how about that?

that went close, didn't it?
[commentator 3] Been working
so hard on his mental game.
[commentator] You look at him,
you say, "Where's he been?"
[Clark] I was in a positive spot,
and I was saying,
"We're playing good.
We actually started making putts."
"I feel confident about this."
And then I go to Quail Hollow and it all...
All matched up.
I'm getting chills thinking about it.
[commentator] This is the moment
he's been dreaming of.
Finally winning, it was like,
"All right. This stuff actually works."
It's been a long five years
to get to this point on tour,
and in years past I might have folded,
but mentally, I was super strong.
[Julie] The Wells Fargo was
so healing for him.
That lifted years and years of pain,
that Wells Fargo win.
In the center again
when you're done, Wyndham.
[Dahmen] Wyndham broke through
at Quail Hollow, and he dominated.
He's now wanting to talk
to a sports psychologist, and wa-bam!

I just haven't found
that piece of the puzzle. They have.
