-All right! Looks like we're
almost at Mount Stay-A-Day!

-Nice job organizing
this trip, Peng!

I remember when you couldn't
even organize your sock drawer.

-Still can't.

-[exhales] I can't
wait for some rest

and relaxation.

-More like stress
and desolation.

-You're gonna love it!

It's pretty, peaceful,
and so much fun!

My parents and I used
to come here every year

until my dad found out he
was allergic to family time.

[Everest groaning]

-[inhales deeply]
Just smell that fresh,

crisp air.

- [fly buzzing]
- [Everest inhales]

[Everest spitting]

-Ugh! Seriously?

[Peng and Yi laughing]

How is this rest and relaxation?

- Where's the infinity pool?
- [Everest grunts]

- Masseuse?
- [Everest grunting]

The super-expensive acai bowls?

[Everest's stomach growls]

- [Everest burping]
- Oh.

-Come on, those aren't
the only ways to relax.

I've got soothing face masks,

herbal tea, and
cucumbers in my bag.

-Argh. It's not like I
can afford a real vacation

since my mom cut
off my allowance

for quitting med school.

But nature doesn't like me.

[Everest, Peng, and Yi laughing]

[eerie music playing]

fellow campers!

[crow cawing]

[Everest groans]

Not quite how I remembered it.

Things are less clean.

And a lot more dead.

-You said, "Mount Stay-A-Day."

That sign says,
"Mount Stay-A-Way!"

-Eh, an honest spelling mistake.

-We'll make the best of it.

-Wait. Is... Isn't
Mount Stay-A-Way

where that urban legend...

-Yeren aka the
Head Hunter lives?

Yes. I didn't realize
Mount Stay-A-Day

was Mount Stay-A-Way.

This... is...

awesome!

Legends say that he's
a huge, hairy man

who escaped from
creepy clown school.

-Hmm. I love a good clown story.

-There are no good
clown stories.

-Yeren has gigantic
but silent clown feet

and comes for anyone who dares
to visit his hunting grounds,

Mount Stay-A-Way!

-To hunt their heads?

-Actually, their hair.

But Hair Hunter
doesn't sound as scary.

-Uh-uh, yeah, it does!

I'd rather face my mom than
lose my precious locks.

-Jin, are you afraid?

-What?
[chuckles nervously] Psh.

No. I mean, why would I be?
The Head Hunter is not real.

-Of course not.

Somebody probably
saw a hairy man

wandering around one day

and let their
imagination go wild.

-Totally. There aren't even
any clown schools nearby.

Not that I check
before every trip.

-We get the whole
park to ourselves!

-Without working bathrooms?

-You have nature's bathroom,

where you can take
care of business

while you watch the sunset.

[birds chirping]

-Speaking of sunsets,

it's starting to get dark,

and we should hurry
and set everything up.

Then I can face mask and chill

while listening to the
audiobook of my creature book.

-The last time I
came with my parents,

we had the campsite ready
in like... 15 minutes.

It'll be a breeze!

[screams]

[yelps]

♪ ♪

[violin music playing]

[Everest humming]

[Everest screams, grunts]

[all laughing]

-Huh. Finally. Time to relax.

- Snack time!
- [Everest oohs]

-Want any, Jin?
-No, thanks. [chuckles nervously]

I can't eat when
I keep imagining

bugs crawling all over me.

I'm heading to my tent for
a break from the outside.

[sighs]

[Jin screaming]

[Jin moaning]

YI: What's wrong, Jin?

- [rat squeaking]
- One rat? Is that all?

-Jin, animals are just part
of nature. Try to relax.

[Everest and Jin breathe deeply]

-You're right.

- [rat squeaking]
- [Jin yelps]

Nature's so amazing.

You know, I should just stay
out here for even more nature.

Forget the tent.

-Ooh! We can get some
campfire games going.

That's when the
real fun happens.

[rustling]

[rat squeaking]

[chuckles]

It's time for some
spooky stories.

Wooooo!

- [Everest laughs, imitates Peng]
- [Jin laughing]

-Since we're here at
Yeren's hunting grounds,

we should summon him.

-If we chant his
name three times,

he'll come for us with
his terrifying laugh.

[laughs in a deep voice]

He takes all your hair

and puts it on his
own shaggy body.

And then you disappear.

Dun, dun, dunnnn!

-Hope he goes for
the best hair first.

-Thank you!

But also, how dare you?

A summoning is a
great idea, Peng.

But we know the
story's not true,

so it'll just be
a waste of time.

-All we have is time!

This is going to be fun!

-I thought you had
cucumbers to slice.

- Nope. I ate 'em.
- [Jin groans]

-Yeren.

-Yeren.

-Please don't work,
please don't work!

PENG AND YI: Yeren.

- PENG AND YI: Yeren!
- [Jin screams]

[Everest and Peng laughing]

-[chuckles nervously] Don't
worry, Everest. It's not real.

It's... not... real.

And I am definitely not
breaking out in a cold sweat.

-Ooh, I know! We can
play Truth or Dare.

-Okay. Yi, you first.

-Dare. All the way.

-I dare you to clear
the rat out of my tent

- and tidy it up.
- Nice one, Jin.

-Ugh. Fine.

Can't be worse than cleaning
up Nai Nai's toenails

from the living room floor.

- Okay, good little rat.
- [rat squeaking]

Why don't you just
head on out? That's it.

[crumpling]

Weird. The rat must've
carried this in.

[rustling]

[suspenseful music playing]

All right, who's next?

-Everest, truth or dare?

What's your dream?

[Everest vocalizing]

Aw! You love being with us,

so you want all
creatures and humans

to be together like we are?

[Everest grunts in agreement]

-That's my dream too.

Okay, Jin, truth or dare?

-Uh... truth. I am
not risking a dare.

-Well, we already know
what Jin's dream is.

Creature medicine.

-But we don't know what
he's most afraid of.

- Jin?
- A hair gel shortage.

-Ahh, there's gotta
be something scarier.

-Well, I've been, uh...

I've been having these
terrifying dreams lately

where my mom turns
into a giant Momzilla,

chases me down and
shaves my head.

-Does this have to do
with her cutting you off?

-Probably. My mom hasn't
been happy with me

since I dropped out.

She's giving me the
silent treatment.

-I'm sorry, Jin.

-You made your decision
from the heart.

You just have to tell
her how you feel.

When she sees your
passion, she'll understand.

Now, let's get you prepped
to face your fears.

Dare... or dare,Jin?

-It's almost time for s'mores.

I dare you to go
collect some firewood.

-[gulps nervously] Alone?
Like into the woods?

With... more leaves?

-You can do this, Jin!

-Time for a quick
pre-s'mores snack!

[rat squeaking]

- [creature roaring]
- [Jin screaming]

There goes the last marshmallow.

Guess there's no point in Jin
gathering s'more sticks anymore.

- [Everest laughing]
- [eerie laughter echoing]

Uh, Yi, is that your
dead-of-night belly laugh?

-No, it was probably just an
echo from Everest's laugh.

Ooh, the water's boiling.

I'm gonna go grab my tea bags.

[Yi gasps]

-Uh... Wa... What are those?

[chuckles nervously] Jin
must be pranking us, right?

-Uh. Yeah. [chuckles nervously]
We should go find him.

To tell him how
not funny this was.

- Jin? Jin!
- Jin!

-You can come out now!

[chuckles nervously] We've
found your spooky dolls.

Nice craftsmanship.
Hilarious. Ha, ha, ha!

-Jin!

[Everest screams]

Jin!

[Yi gasps]

- [Everest oohs]
- Jin's phone!

He would never leave it behind!

-Hm. Let's check it for clues.

-There's video from
five minutes ago!

[Jin yelping]

- Someone or something
is chasing me!

-Run, Jin! Run!

[Jin screaming]

- [creature laughing]
- [Jin screaming]

[all screaming]

[eerie laughter echoing]

-Where is that
laugh coming from?

[eerie laughter continues]

[Everest grunts]

-The big feet. The laugh.
It's Yeren! He's real!

-Well, Yeren messed
with the wrong crew.

We have to find Jin.

- PENG AND YI: Woah!
- [Everest Oohs]

-That must be Yeren's house.

-Everest, can you
get us up there?

[Everest grunts]

[Everest humming]

-Everyone ready?

[Everest grunts]

Let's go!

PENG: Where is he?

- [all gasp]
- Jin!

Jin, wake up!

[Yi grunting]

Everest?

[rattling]

-Something doesn't feel right.

Let's hurry and get Jin out of
here before Yeren gets back.

[Everest grunting]

[ominous music playing]

- [creature laughing]
- [all screaming]

[creature continues laughing]

- [creature grunting]
- No!

-Jin, you're awake!

-Don't worry. We've got you!

[creature continues laughing]

JIN: No! Wait!

- [playing violin]
- [Everest humming]

-Guys, listen to me! Yi, stop!

[Jin and Peng screaming]

-No!

[creature grunting]

-You... saved us.

Uh... Huh.

[creature vocalizing]

[Everest growling]

-Guys, Yeren's
not who you think.

Well, he is, but... but he's...
But he's not what you think.

[Yeren vocalizing]

[Everest vocalizing]

[Yeren vocalizing]

-Everest can talk to Yeren?

-Yeren is a creature!

-I took a tumble while
running away from him

and sprained my legs and arms.

But it turns out Yeren
is a super-nice creature.

He carried me to his tree house

and patched me up with
some amazing salves.

He mixed them using
ingredients from the forest.

My sprains are already
almost fully healed.

Nature is awesome!

-That's incredible!

[Yeren vocalizing]

-Um... what's he doing?

JIN: Bug tea.

I found out when a roly-poly
got stuck in my teeth.

Can't recommend, though it
did get me some good sleep.

Until you all screamed me awake.

[Yeren vocalizing]

-Oh! [chuckles nervously]
That's so nice of you, Yeren.

But we just filled
up on s'mores.

[Yeren laughing]

-Yeren gets a little
nervous around people.

It... It makes him laugh a lot.

That's also why he's always
camouflaging himself.

-Camouflage! Ooh, can I see?

[Yeren vocalizing, laughing]

- [Everest oohs]
- Whoa!

[Yeren laughing]

-That must be why we didn't
see him when we came in.

Did you make these stick dolls?

And this little
note with the rat?

[Yeren vocalizing]

[Everest vocalizing]

-Aw! Yeren loves
human visitors!

And his gifts were a rat,

stick figures, and
well-aged apples.

-[chuckles] What's up with
the wall of hair, though?

-Oh, that is just a
memento of everyone

he's gotten to
meet, including me.

Actually, that's, uh, kind
of a little less "aw."

But he did make a
k*ller tonic to revive

to revive the chunk of
hair he snipped away.

So all is forgiven.

It's never been so glossy.

[Yeren vocalizing]

-Yeren, that's really sweet

you wanted to welcome
your visitors,

but, to be honest,

humans find rats and stick
dolls a little scary.

[Yeren groans]

[Yeren vocalizing]

-Uh... This flier says

the campgrounds are
gonna close tomorrow!

[Yeren vocalizing]

-There aren't enough
visitors coming,

so the city is gonna
chop down the forest.

[Yeren vocalizing]

-We can't let Yeren
lose his home.

-We won't.

- [playing violin]
- [Everest humming]

[Yeren exclaiming, laughing]

-I used Sewer Koi's power
to clear the plumbing.

The bathrooms work again!

-Why didn't we do this earlier?

I still have leaves in my pants!

-I be-leaf we have a bigger
problem on our hands!

[tense music playing]

[Yeren groaning]

-Definitely not enough
time to get attendance up.

-We should try talking to them.
Maybe they'll hear us out.

-I wasn't expecting any
visitors in the park.

I'm sorry, but you're
gonna have to clear out.

It's closed permanently
starting today.

-You can't destroy this forest.

-Hey, that's not
up to you or me.

The city council has decided.

-But that was before
the park got a makeover.

Look at it! Good as new!

-I can't halt the plan.

There's no more maintenance
money left for the park,

no matter how nice it is.

to prove that the park
can sustain itself,

I came in stressed about
my mom being mad at me,

but Yeren showed me that
there's so much to learn

about nature and
healing from creatures.

That's why I dropped out of
medical school in the first place.
