01x01 - The Snitch or Snitch?

Post by bunniefuu »

- FEMALE VOICE:

Welcome to Las Vegas.

Where last night,

I did a little heist

(sirens wailing)

and locked $10,000

in these boxes.

Now, six creators are scrambling

to find the keys and unlock them.

Why?

Because I told them to.

And I tapped these six

to grab the cash and my car

and drive it all to

my hideout in Colorado.

But here's the thing

I smell a Snitch.

So I thought, let's add some

stops to their little road trip.

Every day, the group will

complete a challenge.

If they do well, their money

stays here: the Loyal Loot.

If they screw up, money will

move into the Snitch Stash.

Each evening, they'll vote out

whoever they most suspect

of sabotaging them

until only two remain.

If they're both Loyal,

they'll split the money

in the Loyal Loot.

If not, the Snitch

will get away with

all the money

in the Snitch Stash,

and I won't give the Loyal

a cent.

So the question is,

who's the Snitch?

Is it the Gamer?

The Zoologist?

The Therapist?

The Card Counter?

The Political Scientist?

The Finance Guy?

(crew chattering)

- Is the sound speed?

- Yeah.

- Foreign, take one.

(slate clap)

- SAM: I sympathize.

Anyway, welcome on.

(Foreign Man and Ben laugh)

Feel free to take a seat.

- Man! Okay, alright.

- Which one of these is mine?

Great.

- Welcome, welcome.

Welcome, welcome.

Alright.

- On him?

Sounds good, okay.

- SAM: You ready to find out?

- Sure.

- Okay.

So

Here are the envelopes.

So, please kind of

open this, turn around,

show your role to the camera, and,

you know, react appropriately.

- MATT: Okay.

- Alright.

- Oh, this is a tense moment.

- Ah— (chuckles)

- Okay, here we go. Let us see.

What am I?

- Alright, nice.

- Oh, yeah.

- Snitch.

- SAM: So here's what's

actually going on.

So basically, Nebula gave us

a bunch of money

to make a game show,

and we really like shows

that have, you know,

a sabotage element.

But there's already so many

that have, you know,

a saboteur.

There's even a bunch that

have a couple of saboteurs.

But as far as we know,

there's none that have

everyone as the saboteur.

- And we thought

that would be funny.

- SAM: So we went ahead and told

them there were six envelopes.

Five that said Loyal,

and one that said Snitch.

And that was true.

We just gave them

each the Snitch one,

then made them give it back,

then gave it to the next person.

- Damn, if I go to prison,

that's gonna be

a terrible look for me.

- BEN: Yeah, we never

lied to them at all.

They could figure this out.

- SAM: Right, yeah,

none of the docs we gave them

said there was only one Snitch.

And none of us have ever even said

the phrase "the Snitch"

in front of them.

So, Ms. Terry has hired you

to transport the money back

to her hideout in Colorado,

but there's a Snitch among you.

- BEN: Yeah, we had to do

training sessions.

- Talking about "the Snitch"?

- Can't say that.

I'm the Snitch.

I'm the only Snitch, right?

- Uhh I mean

read—read the thing.

- I don't know

if I believed that.

- SAM: And when it came up,

I nailed it.

Loyal, Snitch.

Got it? We're good?

Huh?

- Or does it not matter?

Okay.

- SAM: So, back to now.

- DAN: We got two keys left.

- They're starting the game

by putting all $10,000

in the Loyal Loot,

which is essentially a trash can.

Nobody can win it.

The Snitch Stash is

the real prize money.

The rules say that

a Snitch in the final two

wins the full amount

in the Snitch Stash.

- BEN: And that's still true.

It's just that since

they're all Snitches,

we're going to pay

the full amount to both finalists.

- SAM: Yeah, we're a lot of things,

but we're not liars.

(contestants cheer)

- Aye, come on!

- Where was it?

- It was under the—

- Under the box!

(contestants groan)

Evil!

- PATCH: Yeah, let's go.

- The thing?

Do we just escape?

- Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

Speed walk. Come on.

(Contestants grunting)

- Alright, let's go.

- Let's go!

- BEN: So far, everything has been

carefully scripted and rehearsed.

But now they're off. No script.

We can't control them anymore.

- SAM: Let's see if

we can get away with it.

♫ (bluesy big band music)

- Whoa.

- Bye, Vegas.

- That's great, bye!

- MATT: Bye, Vegas.

It was nice stealing your money!

- Absolutely.

- Ugh!

- Oh yeah, it is

gonna be loud in here.

- What?!

- Forgot about that, yeah.

- So how are we all feeling?!

(Matt laughs heartily)

- We're crushing it! Let's go.

- What challenge could they have

that's 30 minutes

outside of Las Vegas?

(Georgia gasps)

- Oh, it's a speedway.

It's a legit speedway.

- GEORGIA: Oh, I hope I'm

not actually driving a car.

- FOREIGN: Are we driving things?

- 'Cause if I'm driving a car—

- I drive on the left side

of the f— on the damn road!

- Wait, is it not go-karts?

- Sam's like,

we've hidden 25 keys

around this motor speedway.

(Matt laughs)

- GEORGIA: It's gonna be like—

- FOREIGN: We're about to play

Mario Kart in real life.

- Real life Mario Kart!

- I'm hitting everybody with—

- This is kind of a

bit of a dream for me,

if we're doing this.

I'm like, come on!

- Matt is out here

creaming himself,

and I am literally in shock!

- Wait, he's what?

- I don't think they can use that.

- You heard the man!

- So, it turns out the route

to the open field/dunes

where we're doing our challenge

involved driving through the

Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Now you're actually about to sit

in the middle of a windy field

and answer trivia questions.

- Yeah, that was sad.

That made me authentically

sad when he said that.

- Oh, wait, we weren't

stopping at the speedway.

We were just going over here.

- Oh, man!

- GEORGIA: He's k*ller.

- What?

- That was such a tease.

- Aaaggh!

- They're doing this on purpose.

- BEN: Yeah, I think someone's

gonna f*ck up this first challenge,

and I think they're

going to go home.

- I'm going to guess

the elimination is

going to be based on

something in this challenge.

- BEN: Well, 'cause here's the thing.

We wrote the trivia questions

such that almost certainly

they all know the answers

to the questions that

they are being given.

- The thing for them to be

to think about is

will everybody else know

that I will know this?

- Yeah.

- But that's the thing

that's weird, it's like

They all are going

to be trying so hard

not to seem suspicious,

but none of them are

going to be suspicious

of any of the other ones

because they think

they're the only one.

- Oh-oh, we're slowing down,

we're slowing down.

- Oh, oh, they're turning.

What's here?

- DAN: We got dirt bikes.

- MATT: Okay, we got something.

(phone ringing)

Ms. Terry?

- MS. TERRY: Hello, players.

Welcome to the Nellis Dunes.

Your first stop on

the way to my hideout.

Unfortunately, I believe

there's a Snitch among you.

So I've set a series of challenges

that should help you

suss them out.

This is your first.

Here's how it's going to work.

I've prepared trivia questions

for each of you,

drawn from your own

areas of expertise.

You will answer these questions

by putting money

from the Loyal Loot

into the box you believe

corresponds to the correct answer.

If you're right, that money

will return to the Loyal Loot.

If you're wrong,

it'll go to the Snitch Stash,

meaning no Loyal player

can take it home.

Or you can choose not

to answer the question

and leave the fate of

your money up to chance.

We will play two rounds.

In round one, all players will

answer a question worth $100.

In round two, you will entrust

only three players to answer again.

And this time, the questions

will be worth $300.

You will decide the question order.

That's all.

We'll talk when you're done.

- T—Thank you.

- Ooh.

- Not getting used to that.

- Why did Ms. Terry need us

to do trivia in a desert?!

- STEVEN: Okay. Let's check out—

- Steven, what do we do?

- Right.

(Matt and Steven laugh)

Let's check out the wheel,

check out the wheel.

- I trust you.

- Okay, so

- You card counting Jesus.

- Basically, if we're

not sure about this,

then we can spin this.

And this is about even for

good things and bad things,

except this little bad boy.

That's very, very bad.

'Cause that's $400

to the Snitch Stash.

- Lord.

- So ideally,

if we spin this wheel,

we've got a slight disadvantage.

So we want to avoid that.

If you're torn

between two answers,

it's better just to flip

the coin and pick one.

- I mean, they're

strategizing genuinely.

I mean, they are right.

- Okay, I'm running

out of fingernails to bite.

Let me just stand

inside the middle there.

I'm trying my best

to make it not look

like I'm the Snitch.

But at the same time

trying to gain some trust

with the rest of the group.

- Self-described misogynist

Andrew Tate

- Yes!

- gained

massive popularity online

after appearing in 2016 on

what British reality show?

- FOREIGN: Everybody here

knows that I've made

a million Manosphere

takedown videos, so

it would look

so conspicuous for me

to get that question wrong.

I want to say Big Brother.

- Three

Two

Two-and-a-half.

- Flip it over, please.

Come on!

(contestants cheer)

(Georgia and Matt applaud)

So I got it right,

and I was just like,

okay, hopefully someone else

gets something wrong.

And then the suspicion

will be on them.

- MATT: Here we go.

- Okay, alright.

- What makes a bird a bird?

- The iconic "Konami code"

awarded players with what?

- Here are four people

who currently are

or recently were in prison.

Which of them was never

recognized by Forbes 30 Under 30?

- Which of the following

is not a true fact about sleep?

- Okay, okay.

I think I already know.

- I think I know the answer.

- I'm gonna go

with the feathers.

- I'm gonna go with

whichever one was

the 30 extra lives,

which I think was C.

My first question, I was

never going to get wrong.

- I was playing it straight.

I was like,

I have to build the trust

as early as possible.

- Right now, my priority is

not to balance the money

out in my favor.

And I'm not trying to

blow my cover.

- With everyone doing so well,

the pressure was just on.

It would be a huge

target on my back.

And I think there already is one.

So, I had really no choice.

- What they don't realize is

that they're all on the same team.

- SAM: Yeah.

- ADAM: If they could

all just figure out

that if they cooperated,

they could put all the money

in the Snitch Stash

Yeah.

- Come on, come on,

come on, come on.

- STEVEN: Loyal Loot!

(contestants cheer)

- That's what I'm talking about!

- ADAM:

They're all trying so hard

to convince everyone else

that it's not them,

that they are all

taking money away

from themselves!

(scattered applause, squeeing)

- PATCH: Well done, sir.

- STEVEN: We love you!

- Boom, boom!

Acting out the big moments

is kind of the thing that

I think I'm pretty strong at.

Today was never going to be

the day to take big swings.

- Dan, I love you, oh my god!

(scattered applause)

(Georgia squee-laughs)

- DAN: It wasn't that hard to

celebrate with these people.

We're all very jovial

individuals, so

I guess it is kind of an

acting challenge then.

Because I'm convincing myself

that this is good for me.

- The thing is, with each

answer that becomes right,

they're almost more incentivized

to not get it wrong

because it seems like the norm.

- Steven.

- Yes.

- How you feeling?

- If it's a technical question,

we're golden.

If it's about history of card counting

or something, I'm screwed.

- In a game of Blackjack

dealt from a single deck

- Oh, f*ck.

- what is the

approximate probability

that you are dealt a

"natural blackjack"

in your first two cards?

- Why's it—

I've never had to—

This is— Okay.

- FOREIGN: You have this.

- This never is functional

to my job in any way.

- You have this. You got it.

- I don't also play single decks.

- He's in a good position, because

Do you think?

- DAVE: He spent a good chunk

of yesterday

telling us about how it works.

Single deck isn't a thing.

- A) 3.9%.

B) 4.2%.

- FOREIGN: Too much numbers.

- What the hell, man?

- C) 4.8%.

(group giggling)

Or D) 5.1%.

- Ms. Terry ain't got a sense of humour.

- Or spin.

- Steven, I promise you.

That's what's written on here.

(contestants laughing)

- STEVEN:

When I got that question,

I genuinely had no idea what

the answer to that question was.

My strategy going in was gonna be

get the first question right,

get the second question wrong,

maybe, or get both right.

But the worst scenario was

getting the first question wrong.

I'm sorry, I'm gonna have to spin.

- Okay, this is the first spin?

- I'm so sorry.

- Okay.

- Don't apologize to me.

f*ck!

- Oh, my— Come on, man!

God damn!

- 4.8, guys.

- I would not have guessed

- My options were 4.8 or 4.2?

What the hell?

- The answer was 4.8%.

- That's absolute

If I get heat, I think I'm

gonna mainly focus on

how ridiculous my question was

and really play into that.

Everyone was like, well,

how on earth could you know

between 4.2% or 4.6%

or whatever?

So I think I'm okay.

- PATCH: Foreign turned to me

and he was like

"That was ridiculous.

He should've got that."

And I think I can build on that.

- I think that I already have

enough natural suspicion

on someone like Steven

that I'll be able to

cast him as the Snitch.

- Who do we wanna have

to be the $300

- Three.

- answerers?

- Patch for sure.

- Three of us. Patch is one.

- Patch.

- Who felt instantly comfortable

and confident with their question?

You were.

- For sure.

- Okay.

- STEVEN: So there's three. You three.

- PATCH: So that's three.

- STEVEN: Okay, I love you guys.

You got this.

- GEORGIA: Good luck.

- Yay!

I felt very good about being

set up for the second one

because I at least knew

I could sow some chaos.

- Which of

the following cities

has never been the capital

of the United States?

A) New York City, New York.

B) Lancaster, PA.

C) Princeton, New Jersey.

D) Boston, "Massachu-shetts".

I can't pronounce

"Massachu-shetts."

- It's not PA,

because that is a thing.

Uhh, New York, I don't believe.

Boston, I don't believe.

And Jersey, I don't bel

(Matt cracks up, growls)

(others clamor)

- GEORGIA: Oh, that's not

- It's Boston.

Boston was never the city.

But put that in this show.

I don't want people to think

that I don't know that.

I might have to spin this.

I'm gonna spin

because this is not—

I, mm, nope.

- If you're feeling

the wheel of fortune,

you're feeling the wheel of fortune.

- I'm feeling—

- If the wheel calls

- The wheel may call.

Sometimes the wheel calls

- You have to answer.

- You have to answer.

(Dan claps repeatedly)

- That's it.

- That's it.

- Don't rub it

on the Snitch Stash!

- Oh, is that— oh.

(others laughing)

- STEVEN: Dude!

- I didn't see—

I'm at a diagonal!

- I'm really beginning

to question things.

- DAN: Sure.

(contestants clamor)

- Matt, you were so close!

- Come on, man!

- It's cause

he rubbed it on it.

- You rubbed it.

- Oh, come on!

- I feel so broke!

- That's 300.

- My inadvertent rubbing of

the money on the Snitch wheel

seemed to have paid off.

- An Inland Taipan is a species

of venomous snake

found in Australia.

How many people, approximately,

could the venom in one bite

from this snake k*ll?

- I I think it's 100.

- What percent are you at?

- 1,000 is a lot.

- What percent sure I am?

- 3.9, 4.2, 4.8, 5.1.

(Steven laughs)

- I'm gonna go with 100.

I'm pretty sure that's right.

- MATT: We'll see.

- GEORGIA: Is everyone ready?

Yes!

- Yes!

- Let's go!

(contestants applaud)

- That's what we're

talking about, man!

- Patch! Zoologist!

- PATCH:

I think everyone is proud of me.

I think they know that

they can trust me.

And I'm gonna keep that

going as long as I can.

Which of the following

Disney films

has not been adapted

to include a warning

about its r*cist themes?

- Oh, no.

- Ooh.

- Oh, god.

- A) Dumbo

B) The Aristocats

C) Peter Pan

And D) Beauty and the Beast.

- The Aristocrats is a film?

I definitely didn't know

the answer for that.

I don't know what it is.

I think I might have

a better chance of spinning.

- Yeah, please,

yeah, if you don't know—

- Because I don't even think

Aristocrats is real.

- If the wheel calls you

(Georgia cackles)

- Answer.

- Answer.

- Okay.

I was just like, okay,

this is gonna look naturally

me getting the answer

wrong by spinning.

And then I end up actually

getting the spin right.

- MATT: Yes, come on!

(contestants cheer, applaud)

- And that kinda pissed me off.

(contestants applaud)

- STEVEN: Very nice.

- Oh, that was so close

to being bad!

- (laughs) That was

so close to being bad.

- Oh, lord!

- This man spins wheels.

(phone ringing)

- Wait, gather around.

- Alright, alright.

- Gather around, everybody.

- I'm ready.

- Ready? We'll all listen together.

Hey, babe.

- MS. TERRY: (unamused) Hello.

(others crack up)

Of the $1,500 taken

from the Loyal Loot

for this challenge,

you have returned $1,100.

- That's so amazing.

- That's pretty good.

- That's so really amazing.

- That's great.

Ms. Terry, I'll have you know,

that's a fantastic score.

- You don't think so?

To be honest, I feel like it

could not have gone better.

- It may look like

things aren't going my way,

but it actually is.

- I think that

for the first challenge,

it's actually pretty good.

- So I feel good. I feel good.

- I think I threaded

some needles.

I hope I was convincing enough

to not act like I knew—

I didn't know what the answer was.

- I think if I was the only person

to get something wrong,

then there maybe

would have been suspicion.

I think now, it's a bit more split.

And people appreciated

how difficult my question was,

I think, which was a relief.

- The safest bet, I think

is Steven.

Because he and I are

the only two that lost money.

- I think there's a good case

for Steven to get eliminated.

He's a card counter.

He's just naturally untrustworthy.

I think he's been faking

the accent the whole time.

- I think the best thing

I can say is

we have to just go off results.

And what happened is,

is that Matt lost the most money.

And right now, we have

nothing else to go on.

So, what are we gonna do?

Vote someone out

that got it right?

- I think it's also a good case

for Patch to get eliminated.

Because he was talking—

For a second, I was like,

are you the Snitch too, man?

Because he was saying

something in the car ride earlier.

He was saying

I got a good—

- Animal trivia? I'm right there.

- Animal trivia?

(others concurring)

You were sitting on that.

And we ended up having

trivia, and I was like

how much do you know

about this game?

So in some way I'm like,

are there two Snitches here?

- Oh.

- BEN: That's interesting.

Patch didn't know that.

I— That's—

He just shot himself in

the foot by accident.

- He was straight up

just guessing?

- BEN: Yeah, but that

means that there's—

The wheels are starting to turn.

They're considering that

there could be other Snitches.

- So someone has

to get eliminated now.

And the strategy

for me is basically

really play up how f*cking

disappointed I am in myself

for the next two hours or

whatever we're in that van.

Be the saddest puppy

you've ever seen.

- MS. TERRY: This evening, you will have

your first elimination vote.

You have until then to figure out

who that person will be.

Get back in the car and

head to your next location:

The Donkey Museum.

- The what?

- Donkey Museum?

- Is that serious?

- Okay.

- MATT: This is weird to

(Matt laughs)

- STEVEN: I know.

- FOREIGN: It's kinda weird

to talk about k*lling one

of y'all off, pretty much.

- In other games like this,

we might have different

things that have happened

that would throw, or be like,

"Oh, X or Y", but—

- Yeah, it's so early.

- We did so well

and the bad stuff

was randomized.

- Yeah.

- I mean, so what's

the bad stuff really?

Steven's was

a very hard question.

Why did they think

that that was—

Did they think that

that was gonna be easy?

- I honestly just think

it comes down to people

not understanding card counting.

So they look up a stat

- GEORGIA: I thought you were amazing

- that they could build a thing off?

- at math as well.

- No, I'm not. Really, no.

- That was the first thing I said to you.

- FOREIGN: Yeah, I was

surprised because

- I don't know if

Steven's getting out of this.

- Well, I feel bad because we

We thought he would probably

know the answer to that question.

- SAM: Yeah.

- BEN: Yeah.

- I'm like, Matt, with yours,

why did you spin?

- Because I wasn't sure.

- Which question was this?

- This was the capital.

- Because you

left it up for probability.

- Oh, the capital one.

- Because I was—

So the only one I knew for sure

was a capital of the United States

was Pennsylvania.

- I thought we said it

was still worth it to guess

if you had it down to three.

Or did we say

- No, we said spin.

- It was better to—

- It was three, yeah.

Because if I had two,

it was better than 50-50.

- It'll be interesting to see who

Steven tries to lob attention to.

- And I'm not— I'm not

throwing shade at you.

(Dan giggles)

But the way that I think

it would be smart to do it

- Steven!

- is to play well on the first question

and then throw the second.

Because that's where

the money is, on the second one,

and you've built up a bit of

"I did well on the first one!"

- Right.

- as credibility.

But I also think

your question was

I don't have

a gauge of how well

you would know that question.

- Sure.

- Knowing the optics of this,

it would be absolutely

heinous and unethical

to put the only black character

as the criminal that

betrays everybody else.

(contestants cross-talk)

(Adam laughs squeakily)

That's the only thing I'm thinking.

- I mean, let's be honest.

- Wait, hold on.

- To have it be either

Georgia or Foreign,

it would be a crazy move.

- FOREIGN: Honestly, because

we're the only tokens there are!

- GEORGIA: I thought that was my

(dialogue fades out)

- Oh, wait, are we going to

the Republican headquarters?

Is that what the donkey is?

- Oh, the donkey, yes.

- Are we getting ready to

- Wait, no, donkeys are Democrats.

- Oh, Donkey History.

- Oh, there we go, okay.

- MATT: Here we are.

- I think Sam just kinda

sees us as little toys

to play around with,

and he just watches us.

It's like a mind game.

- Damn, hey there.

- Thank you.

- We're like Sims to him.

- GEORGIA: Oh, there's a donkey.

- STEVEN: He's the greeter.

- We'll do so much.

- MATT: Man!

- STEVEN: That has a selfie spot.

- There's a lot of donkeys.

- "Hello, good morning.

You're actually are a bad-a*s."

"Nice a*s"! This is me.

- There you go.

- Okay, so I need this.

- STEVEN: Oh, wow, this place,

this is so cool.

- Oh, I do like this, though.

- What's with this jeep?

Oh, there's a convenient

sign answering.

- Wait, can I drop

some of my money on this?

Can we actually purchase

shirts while we're here?

- Can I please?

- I had a really old jeep

for a while.

- Yeah?

- Yeah, I did.

Like this type, and it did this.

And it was really cool.

That was about it.

- Do you have any

characteries or anything?

- So, I think that your strategy,

I think that you're right.

But also, I think that because

Matt and Patch are friends

They're a voting block.

And that's not good to have

in any of our games.

- I don't like all the conspiring

'cause I can look at it right now.

(Matt wheezes)

Patch, do you see that?

- "Donkeys of the Caribbean"!

I mean, we could also conspire.

- Yeah.

- Yeah, so let's

- Alright, fellas.

- Yeah, let's go over here.

- Yeah.

- Yeah.

- I don't think I'll be able

to convince Foreign.

I might be able to get Dan.

Yeah.

And look, you're okay

with me referencing

that you're—

we're on the same page?

Okay, okay.

Thank you.

- I have no idea what to do.

- I

- I don't either.

Okay, I have one read.

One read only, okay?

I don't feel like Steven

tried on this question.

He knows the deck.

He'd be like,

"Okay, so there's four 10s."

(crosstalk)

- I don't know. I don't know.

What's up, guys?

- PATCH:

Oh, you got to have your thing?

- MATT:

Yeah, we saw the thing over there.

- Where the hell

did you come from?

You just appeared?

Like an apparition!

- Just appeared, just appeared.

- STEVEN: Can we have a chat?

- No, I don't want to, Steven.

It scares me!

I don't like the chats.

It just makes me—

What do you want to talk about?

- (laughs) The game?

- Sure, okay.

- What else—

- I'm here to talk about donkeys.

- How was your conversation?

- Yeah, you got a read?

- So, yeah my thought,

really directly,

is that that you got

the first one right,

and then you got

the second one wrong.

Which is like

- Did you spin the second one?

- I spun the second one.

- You did spin it.

- It's also the only move I had.

- True, you're right.

You're right, you're right.

- Honestly, I don't know who it is,

but I'm looking at it

kind of logically

which is all I can go on.

And this is not solid logic,

because it's too early.

- Right.

- If I were gonna be a Snitch,

what I would do is

I would ace the first question,

if I could,

and then on the second question,

I would throw.

- You would ace the first one?

- Yeah, because that's what's

going to move the most back,

and it also builds trust.

- So you're saying

what Matt did

- STEVEN: I mean, the person

I'm most suspicious of

in how they're acting is Foreign,

but I don't think that he's

- It's not.

- I don't think it's him.

- It's not Foreign.

- Okay.

But I think, logically, okay,

if I were you, I'd be thinking,

who aced all their questions?

They're probably safe.

- (titters) Okay.

- Are you just gonna, okay.

- No, no, no, I'm sorry.

- Do you think it's me?

- What, no, I don't think it's you.

- It was a hard—

- You did say

When we went into it,

you were like,

"I hope it's games.

I hope it's not history."

Yeah.

- Yeah, that's true.

- Yeah, that's true.

- You were consistent on that.

- Yeah.

- There's not much—

- I know, I mean, y'all

both did the same thing.

Yours turned up heads,

his turned up tails.

- Yeah, I could

have easily been you.

- Yeah.

- It's how it goes.

- Can I give

one more honest thing?

If I'm just gonna be really plain?

- Yeah.

- I also don't like

that you guys are friends.

(others snicker)

Is— Is— Is—

- Okay, here's— I hear you.

Here's what I can say about that.

- You guys are already

a natural alliance.

And you guys

trust-trust each other.

Actually trust each other.

- But then on the flip side,

I don't think that—

So for example, Patch,

I don't think it would be smart

for a Snitch to go

and ace both things

and make that much money for us.

It would be a dumb move, right?

So I think he's good.

And

- So it sounds like

we're settled.

- Yeah.

- Already changes

the dynamics of the game

because you guys could possibly—

and I'm not saying you did,

and I'm not saying you are.

- Guys, can I join

the group again?

- What?

- I miss being part of the group.

- FOREIGN:

Might as well just bring it all in.

- GEORGIA:

Come in, come in, come in.

I'll repeat even what I'll say

'cause I'm just being—

- Genuinely at some point,

can we just read about the donkeys?

- I'm gonna make things

really uncomfortable real quick.

Steven and Matt

Because of the fact

that y'all performed

how you all performed,

some due to probability

some due to seeming choices

This is how the cards lay.

- Can I do my pitch, then?

- Aye, bro.

I'm the judge, though.

- Vote how you think,

but this is the thing.

If I were the Snitch

and play it like you did,

and you're the only person

that I'm thinking about

the question, I'm going

maybe Matt would know

the answer to that.

But I don't know enough

about US to count,

so it's really hard.

- But you're not wrong

in the way—

the whole gamifying it out.

But the problem with that is

you can very just easily

flip that gamification

at this point in the game,

but— or—

- So you're saying

he's using reverse psychology?

I'm saying that that's

just as easy to do.

- But isn't this what we

were talking about earlier

where it's like you could argue

(overlapping shouting)

- That's the thing.

- You wanted

to be the Card Counter!

- FOREIGN: But Dan, guess what?

- Because if you reverse it—

- Watch this then, I could take

the heat off all of y'all.

Dan you smooth talking,

you from New York,

and you also do business.

- I'm not from New York!

- But you could be!

- Matt, you're from New York.

- No, but the thing is—

(phone ringing)

- DAN: Wait, where is it?

- STEVEN: Where is the phone?

- DAN: Patch?

- PATCH: Sure.

- FOREIGN: Alright.

- STEVEN: This is such not enough time.

- GEORGIA: I know.

- STEVEN: Yeah.

- Ey-ey?

- MS. TERRY: It's time for

your first elimination vote.

You have one more chance to

state your case to the group.

I'll call you when

it's time to vote.

- Oh my god.

Sorry.

(contestants crack up)

That was just a real reaction.

- We're gonna sit?

- You know, I'm actually

rather torn up about it.

I ain't gonna lie.

- It's weird how much of

a fulfilling experience this is,

given that it's one day.

It's a very strange

Because it feels like this

has been so much more time,

and I feel like I've got to

know everyone really well,

even though we don't—

It's so early.

I think my defence of

myself is simply that

the smart way

of playing the game

is not close to what I've done,

if I were on the bad side.

If I were a

what's it called again?

- Snitch.

- Thank you.

The way I played the game

is not how I'd play it

if I was a Snitch.

- My last thing, I guess,

and I—

This has been an absolute blast,

and you are all really fun.

I took in that last bit

what I felt was the safest

for the moment.

But if I'm doing this in

a mathematical sense

I can't even.

Here's what I'm gonna do.

I know I am not the Snitch.

That's literally, I mean,

what else can I do?

(contestants laugh)

- I know, I know.

- I don't have a thing.

Because we have

so little information.

And it sucks. And

Am I 1,000% sure

that you are the Snitch?

Absolutely not.

Am I 1,000% sure

I am not the Snitch?

Absolutely.

I also— But that doesn't

mean anything to you,

so I have no thing.

- As you say, you know it's not you,

I know it's not me.

- So here we are.

So it's someone el— No.

(phone ringing)

- I didn't think of that.

- What?

- MS. TERRY:

It's time to vote, that's what!

On the table,

I've left you each a bag of chips.

You will drop the chip

of the player

you wish to eliminate

into the bag.

Whoever collects the most votes

will be eliminated

and will not continue

to my hideout.

Georgia, you're first.

- Oh, should we, yeah.

That's probably good.

- Yep, hey guys.

- Howdy.

- Alright.

- GEORGIA: Oh my god.

- So, the first one

First one's Matt.

Second vote

Steven.

Third vote

Matt.

- FOREIGN:

Suspense is k*lling me.

- Fourth vote

- Oh, for

Really?

- Steven.

- You can take those out

in a different order.

(Steven giggles)

(Matt huffs)

- That's really the next.

Jesus Christ.

(Steven wheezes)

- Next one

Matt.

Whew, and the final vote

(phone ringing)

- Oh god.

- She has

really perfect timing.

- Hello?

- MS. TERRY: Congratulations

on surviving your first day.

Only time will tell

if you made the right choice.

For now, it's time to head

to your next location.

You'll hear from me tomorrow.

- I assume that

Dan didn't vote for me.

And that Patch did.

Foreign was a total coin flip.

- I wanted Steven.

I ended up with Matt.

Casualty of w*r.

- It was really tough

to vote out my friend.

Unfortunately, I think it

was really my only play.

Matt pretty much

played beat for beat

exactly how a Snitch would.

And I really want to signal

to the group that

my allegiance is to the group.

- I don't think that anybody

suspects me to be the Snitch.

- I don't think that there's

any suspicion for me right now.

- I don't think I have many votes

stacked against me so far.

Although I could sense

a bit of suspicion.

- This whole thing

is making me realise

how hard this is gonna be.

And I think I only just managed it,

and I got so lucky.

- Not ideal, obviously.

- No.

So now what?

- Well

We told you that there were

contingency plans, right?

So

basically

you're actually not

the only Snitch.

Do you want to know

who else it is?

It's, ahh

everyone.

- You mother— (wheezes)
