These days I try to handle it differently.
I'm more relaxed and try to enjoy it.

But right then, there was no way
I was going to be able to relax.

I was so nervous.

I'm not gonna lie. I was
climbing the walls every night.

If we win the Champions, I'll run
around the whole pitch after the game.

[narrator] Fortunately for the
youngest members of the team,

Madrid's experienced veterans
are on hand to calm any nerves.

For many of our players, like
Vinícius, Rodrygo, Camavinga, uh, Fede,

it was the first Champions League final,
so it's normal that you get more nervous

than playing your
fifth or sixth.

how many finals he'd played,

and he told me five, so I said,
"You must be relaxed then."

If you're still nervous on
the pitch, that doesn't help.

I think if you're
nervous before,

it's quite normal, because
it's an important game.

and he was really reassuring.

After all the tough games
